The Arizona Cardinals Need To BLOW IT ALL UP! 😱😬 Fire The WHOLE COACHING STAFF | Trade Kyler!

What’s going on everybody? It’s your boy Mythic. And as you guys see, we have a special guest on today. We’re just going to be talking about the Cardinals, all things Cardinals, how we even got to this point, what our expectations are for the rest of the year. What’s going on with Kyler Murray, the front office, and potentially the draft. So, first of all, Mike, how are you doing? You guys know him. Let them know where they can find you. Yeah. Oh, my name’s Mike. Go by the A Sports fan. Um, usually all platforms, but the biggest platform is going to be here on YouTube. That’s where the biggest following is. So, the A Sports fan. Um, also on X and Twitter as well as Instagram. That’s kind of like the uh the other ones that I’m pretty, you know, frequent off. Not on TikTok as much as I as I wanted to, but it is what it is. The season is already brutal. It’s kind of you kind of hard have a hard time finding things to talk about, especially when there’s just a lot of negative things to talk about. Oh, is that relatable? Injury news. Injury news. Injury news. That’s all we’re posting at this point. Speaking of injuries, how are we feeling with all of the people on IR? Is it just It’s just the Cardinals. where we’re at. It’s disappointing with the injuries. How are we feeling about him? A man, it’s it’s brutal, man. It really is. And I’m actually kind of shocked about the uh you know, the the Marvin Harrison Jr. the the whole that that came out of left field. Good guy. Now, he’s not an IR, but like I wouldn’t be surprised if if the car this season keeps going sideways that they’re just like just shut him down. I don’t know. But like it’s brutal, man. It really is. Like James Connor going down early, Shawn Murphy bunting. I know at that point didn’t seem like a big deal because like we were all excited to see Will Johnson and Max Melton developing and Garrett Williams, but like it’s just those quarterbacks that we have a lot of them can’t really stay healthy. Like I just like I I want I like them. I want them to work so bad. It’s just can they stay healthy? That’s the big question. Trey Benson goes down. Um it’s just it’s a slew of injuries. Menson senior, which is the guy the thumper in the middle of the uh the defense on IR. It’s just it’s brutal. Um, every video I feel like, you know, we both pose is probably injury related. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the the truth of the situation that the Cardinals are three and seven and their own four in the division. They might just be swept through. They’re all all the divisions other teams in the divisions, but we’ll we’ll see. Let’s stay on the topic of getting swept in the division. We might go 0 and six. We’re 0 and four as it stands right now. Two more losses to the Rams. We’re getting swept once again. Jonathan Ganon, this regime in the NFC West cannot get it done. Kyler also struggles in the NFC West. Well, we’ll talk about the coaching staff first. Kyler Murray, we’ll pivot to in just a second. The coaching staff, who do you want brought back? We’ll even talk front office. Monty Austin for where do you stand with all four of these guys? Who do you want to keep? Who do you want fired? If this was your perfect world, what are you doing? uh to be real with you um like right now. So it’s it’s so tough because like I think I was asked this on the uh the NFC West round table as well from the other guys on the panel and I’m like I really want the season to kind of play out because like it’s so weird because you never know like if the Cardinals somehow finish off the season strong which if you’re looking at the remaining of the schedule it’s not really like who where are you going to get a win, right? Like potentially the Falcons, potentially the Jaguars, but like there’s just a tough stretch at the end. Uh, the Texans with or without Stra, that defense is crazy good. Got the Rams that, you know, I think you said it on my show, they might be fighting for to to be on top of the division for that last game, so we might get whipped on that one as well. You know, you never know, man. It’s just I want to still wait for the season to play out, but I do feel like this is already a failure. Like whether injuries or not, this season has failed. Like we were supposed to be better than this. We were supposed to be a team that was five, six, seven wins right now. And if a couple things went a different direction, we we might have been, but you could have said the same thing for the Saints as well as the Panthers that we started off a 2 and 0, you know, start that could have gone a different direction and we couldn’t have started off 2 and 0. So, like, you never know in the NFL. You really don’t. Um, right now, I do believe somebody should get fired at the end of the season. I don’t think they’re going to it’s going to happen midway. It’s just not Michael Bidwell’s forte. Um, and he wants to allow them to probably try to finish off strong, but right now the number one target I is probably going to be it’s so tough because like I look at Jonathan Ganon and although I think he’s a honestly he’s kind of grown on me as like a person. I don’t know him personally. I think we we met him once when we had that that one event. He seemed like a cool dude, chill, right? And I want it to work. I want him to work. Although he’s got goofy tendencies with the pew pew pew pew and the the fire in the gut, but like if you look at this the the records, he’s just not doing it, man. Like three and 13 in the NFC West, 15 and 29 in his career. If we lose this game, that’s 30 games lost in three years from Jonathan Ganon. And guess what? We still got six more games. So it’s it’s so tough, man. Like the Arizona Cardinals are in a very very bad situation. We weren’t supposed to be here. Um who do I want to get the uh out? I mean, we’ll right now it’s easier to fire a coach than it is uh a quarterback because of the situation that it is. But in my perfect world, just start new, man. Just rip it all off. Start start new and and let’s kind of plan from there because we know as long as an owner is willing to spend on a contract that dead money is going to hit like the Russell Wilson situation. It can happen. Anything can happen as long as your owner is willing to to do it. And I get it. It’s not my 40 million, my 30 million. I get that. But at the end of the day, if you want a winning product, Cardinals are training to do four straight losing seasons. Four straight losing seasons because we just can’t get it done and we can’t hang in the NFC West. So, my perfect world, rip it all off. That might not be the worst idea. And I’m kind of there, too, looking at the schedule. Obviously, you touched on it a little bit. Jacksonville, Buccaneers, Rams, Texans, Falcons, Bengals, Rams. How many of those are winnable? Falcons potentially. I think the Jaguars are a winnable game this week. I think this is one of the only winnable games that we’ve had in a long time outside of the Dallas game dating back to the Colts game. I think we’ve had one winnable game and we are one and four. So hopefully actually I don’t even want to win but like I agree. Let’s I don’t even know like yeah Jonathan Gana needs it for his job but like for the future of this franchise like I just don’t want to win at this point and that’s being the fan like I want a higher draft pick. the teams. We’re currently 10th right now in terms of draft order and we are three and seven. That’s kind of nuts. So, honestly, I won a loss, but this is a game I think is going to be kind of competitive just because the Jaguars are kind of iffy. They’re six and four, but they’re kind of an iffy team. I think the Falcons are game, but like Jonathan Ganon’s coaching for his job. Like for real. Like Drew Petting should have been packed up. It wasn’t the case. Jonathan Ganon put his job on the lines and put the eyes on me. And the media has directed their eyes to Jonathan Ganon. He’s getting what he asked for. And he might not feel like he’s on the hot seat. He might. There’s some quotes that came out him talking about it. And you can kind of tell like, yeah, it’s a topic. It’s something that’s real now. It’s not just speculation from media. This is real. This is something he’s addressed. So, in my perfect world, I’m probably starting clean, too. Like, especially in the coaching staff. And we’re going to pivot to quarterback right now because that is obviously a hot topic as well with Kyler Murray. Yeah. Get traded. I’ve seen rumors of him potentially getting cut which I think would just be idiotic. But like if you trade him, that’s something that’s in the air. That’s something I’m not against personally. I’m about 5050 split on it. Just depends what you can get back. If you can get something back in return that can help you build this team, then yeah, probably pivot. But I’m about 50/50 there. I know you want Kyler Murray traded. Is there a way you would cut him? And what do you what does it look like for you with Kyler Murray right now? Where do you stand? Um, I think it’s for the best of the organization and for him as well to just be done with each other. I I think we’ve tried what we could in seven years and it hasn’t worked. Um, I’m not going to come out here and say Kyler Murray was a mistake uh being picked up at the first overall because what he gave us was great flashes of damn that’s so fun. Damn, that’s so cool. Right. the the problem is that the inconsistencies of not being a team that’s competitive year in year out, whether due to injury or just we couldn’t get it done or coaching or whatever the situation is, right? All the factors that kind of make an NFL season, it just hasn’t been able to be done. Um, and I don’t see a world where going into year eight is going to make the change happen because I think the the pendulum has swung already where we had 40% hell maybe even 35% of the Cardinal fans that didn’t want Kyler and the other guys that were like, “Yeah, you Kyler’s going to work. just wait for him to get healthy. And now that pendulum has swung and I think now it’s more than 50% I think 60% now of Kyler or sorry Cardinal fans are on the side of hey it’s time right and it’s it you notice that happen a lot with like the organization making the decisions right like if the organization didn’t do this it probably wouldn’t have swung to the way that it did now however you perceive it do you think he was soft bench you think that the foot injury was a real thing I think all that takes a you know into effect of where he is at right now he’s on IR Can he come back? Well, he’s eligible. We just don’t know if the Cardinals are going to do that and activate him. We just don’t know. But I think it’s for the best interest that he goes on to an organization that we as an organization can get value back to try to plan for the future right now in seven years with the Cardinals have done. And I don’t like the the the the narrative that we failed Kyler. No, I think we both failed each other. I think we tried to do what we could. Now, yes, our general managers and coachings, they’re not smart. Obviously, we’re here for a reason, but they tried their best to tried him to to put him to the level to have him succeed and he just it didn’t happen. He failed us, we failed him or it’s just not even a failure. It’s just we tried it and it didn’t work. So now I think it’s time to move on. So in my perfect world, I hope we trade him. if we release him. Damn, brother. We’re going to talk about Monty a little later on, but I feel like that would be an epic failure for the Arizona Cardinals to flat out release him because there’s some people saying, “Oh, his contract is untradeable or he’s got no value.” Well, right now the hot thing in the NFL, which we know as trends, people are is a copycat league is old. No, I’m sorry. Veteran quarterbacks that didn’t work out in their teams, they get revived somewhere else. Daniel Jones, Baker Mayfield, right? Uh Sam Darnold with the Vikings and now Seahawks. That’s a new hot trendy thing. So if you’re gonna come out here and say no there’s no market for Kyler, that’s BS. Kyler Murray is still a quarterback that you can win in the NFL. You give him a better head coach, you give him an offensive minded guy, he’ll win you games. Absolutely. Line with some offensive line run game, he will win you games. No doubt. So my thing is he should have a trade a trade market. how the Cardinals decide to do it. We’ll see. I I say just if he’s done for the season, leave him on IR. I think his value is as good as he’s going to get right now. There’s no point in throwing him out there and making him look bad with his bad offensive line, his lack of run game. And who knows when Marvin Harrison Jr. is going to have the case of the yips that game. We don’t know, right? Just let him sit out and let’s see what we can do moving forward. Yeah, I think you said it best. I think you can win with Kyler Murray. You just need stability. You need an offensive line that can actually protect him, give him time, a team that’s not going to let the interior just completely collapse in front of him, and you can win. Now, is that the Jets, a team that both you and I think he probably ends up getting traded to? Probably not. But like they have a solid line. Like that is a team that you can be okay. I think they have like maybe they don’t have a solid line. Maybe I’m thinking of a different team. I might be tripping. I’ve been so out of touch with the Jets. They have a lot of first round talent like Membu umh Fashionu or Fananu, however you say. They have a lot of first round uh offensive linemen, just FYI. Yeah, I have been so out of touch with the Jets. I I’ve not watched them at all. I just know Justin Fields has been insanely bad. I watched like two games and Justin Fields look incredibly bad. But I if you give him some stability, a head coach, and an offensive line with some weapons, like yeah, he’s going to win. I’m not I’m very confident in that. My thing is we don’t have that here. So, do you ride this thing another three years or do you capitalize in values high? I think you can win with Kyler. I would like to keep Kyler, but why at this point? Because we don’t have a line that’s going to protect him flat out. I think you need to go through a coordinator head coach rebuild. If that’s the case, trade him. Capitalize while the value is high. Or people are saying the value I think the value has been tanked a little bit, but like I don’t think that’s a quarterback play problem. I think that’s just the way this whole injury thing has been handled. Yeah. With the Dallas situation where he was named the starter, then now no quarterback’s meeting with the media, and now Jacob’s a starter, now Kyler’s going to IR after the backup got a win. And it’s just like the whole thing has been interesting to say the least. Like his injury is bad as we know. We don’t know what the injury is at this point. We just know it’s like that list Frankf foot injury that he’s been dealing with. We don’t know the severity. We don’t know if there’s a flare up. BJ Ojelaris was mishandled. So, we don’t know how injuries have gone because our head coach doesn’t he kind of just bounces around with a lot of subals. So, it’s like you don’t really know. But, I think Kyler does end up getting traded. If I had to predict it, I think it’s Jonathan Ganon or Kyler Murray and they’re going to ride Jonathan Ganon. I think Benjamin Albbright was the one who came out and reported on that that Monty and JG are probably safe. But, in my eyes, if you don’t win three or four of these next games, I think Jonathan Ganon has to go as well. Yeah. Like, both of them can go. like you can just completely restart this. Now, does Michael Bidwell probably want to play Cliff Kingsbury still and Jonathan Ganon the remaining of the contract? Probably not. And move on to another one. That’s a lot of money. So, that’s kind of where from Yeah, this is like I have all the money in the world land cut Jonathan Ganon. But like I just that’s the part right there where it makes it a little tricky, right? Because then you got to take in the realism aspect of will Michael Bidwell pay three head coaches on payroll? probably not. He’s probably going to want this clip thing to end and then if Jonathan doesn’t pan out then it’s another year closer then you can kind of do that. But like right now I just I don’t know. He could have paid for Shawn Payeyton. He could have paid for a better coach and instead we kind of rocked with this young guy. So that kind of just shows me where his head was at, right? And then reality hits, right? And then you’re like, “Oh crap, it’s Michael Bidwell, right?” And then then things kind of hit in and it’s like you don’t want to pay three head coaches. That makes sense from an ownership spot. But if you’re like, “Hey, I want to win.” It’s probably best to part ways in my opinion with Jonathan Ganon where I don’t know what our NFC West record is. I think we have three wins and they might have all came last year. Yeah, if I’m not three and 13. I think all three wins came last year. I think we beat San Francisco twice. And then Seattle and then the Rams. We could have beat the Rams twice last year, but the Dinkan dunk off Trey McBride held that up and that’s right. So, we beat the Rams once we got swept by Seahawks and then we swept the 49ers. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, that happened and it’s just we’re not competitive and at this point like we don’t have the line to protect the quarterback flat out. We have maybe Froh Holt and Paris Johnson and everybody else is going to be out of here in my opinion is how that should play out. The defense has been bottom 20 and it’s just like we don’t have a competitive roster and do you want to let Kyler Murray continue to age and get into his 30s and then like yeah, this is the time to trade him and then he loses all of his best assets. the fact that he can get out of the pocket, the mobility, and that takes a decline. Why would you do that at this point? I think you capitalize while the value is high and you try to go get a first or second round pick. And people are saying his values tank, but to me, I think that’s just dumb. I agree. I I think that’s bad. He has years on his contract, which guarantees he will be your quarterback for like two or three more years after this year, if I’m not mistaken. So, like, you have that stability. And you know, Kyler Murray is this is a guy who can play top five quarterback football when he’s on. And this is a guy who at his worst is playing like 15 to like 17. So like he’s a guy who fluctuates and the consistency is not fully there sometimes. But we’ve also seen flashes under Cliff where I feel like if he plays I think there is potential there. So I I don’t think the fact of him having no market exists there. There’s no way. I agree. I mean the only thing that they say is that the contract it’s just the the contract. But I mean, if the Cardinals are willing to eat some of it, um, and they can trade them away and get draft picks back, I feel like it just takes two to tangle, man. I mean, there’s 32 31 other teams, obviously not including you as the Cardinals, but like there has to be, man. I’m looking at all these quarterback needy teams, and guess what? Free agency poll of quarterbacks aren’t going to be great. The draft, you might have three, two of them I declare, back to school. But, um, I think you said it best. I think Ty Simpson, if he was kind of smart and he was listening to the guys that hopefully were smart. They probably should have come out this year cuz next year there’s going to be a lot of names that are going to completely throw him under. And Drew Aller, he tried it, man. He he should have probably came back last year. He just has not looked good at all. Like he he bet on himself, which I respect, but like now we’re talking about Drew Aller being a fourth, fifth, maybe even a sixth round pick because at one point people thought of him as a first round pick out of Penn State. He got hurt. Hadn’t had a really good season on the beginning and now it’s kind of tanked for him. So, Ty Simpson was smart. I get it. It’s only one year this year. He probably continues his play for the remainder of the season and he doesn’t declare. I’m going to be a little shocked. Yeah, I’m going to be a little shocked because this is your best chance to go top 10. And it really just depends like do you do you believe in yourself that much or are you like, “Hey, maybe I do need another year. I don’t feel like I’m ready. I feel like I’m kind of coming into my own.” But 2787 yards, 22 touchdowns, two interceptions, almost an 80 QBR. I think that that’s warranting a top 10 pick from somebody. It’s going to warrant a top 10 pick because I think the Saints will go Mendoza or Ty Simpson. And then I think the Jets, if they don’t trade for Kyler, will get the other. Yeah. So, I think we’re in that position. And if the Cardinals are like, “Hey, New York, New York, New York, we’ll give you the 10th pick for the fifth and we’ll give you Kyler Murray or something else and figure out assets along the way.” Like, then maybe we jump up like I think Tai Simpson would be very smart because I don’t like the kid from Morgan. Uh Dante Dante Moore. Yeah, Dante Moore. I’m not I’m not very high on Dante to be honest. So, the Cardinals and Mendoza, I’m not the biggest fan, but like you might be able to get me to buy in a little bit, but your voice kind of went away. Can you hear me? Hello. Hello. Now you’re good. There you are. Yeah. Yeah. So, my friend’s an Alabama fan and I was watching this kid on a plane play. I don’t remember who it was. I was watching one of the games and I’m like, “Wow, he’s making some crazy throws.” And Ryan Williams ended up dropping a pass and I’m like, “Dang, this kid is threading it.” Like I text him, he’s like, “He’s good.” He’s like, “He’s all right.” I’m like, “I think he’s more than all right.” And then like I’m not the biggest college fan, but I’m watching I’m like, “I think he’s a little better than all right. I think you’re kind of tripping.” And now he’s on the consensus like, “Yeah, he’s he’s pretty good.” I’m like, “Yeah, I kind of figured he was pretty good.” So that’s my guy. But how did we get there? There’s a lot of season left. Yeah. So, we’ll see how the draft plays out, but we’re at 10. Do you think we jump up to top five based on the schedule? Let’s take a look. I mean, why like like you said, Matthew, you brought it up. I don’t know realistically how many wins the card I think if they’re lucky, they would get five wins. And that’s two more wins right now if they are lucky. Um, like you said, I don’t think I a couple years ago when we were in tank season when people were like, “Oh, tank for Marvin. Tank for Marvin.” Um, like I was like, “Oh, I don’t like tanking. you know, like but because we had a clear-cut who our quarterback was. We don’t have that this year. So now it’s like the way my mind is is okay, we might have to tank out a season. I hate the losing mentality. I hate the tanky mentality, but you don’t have a clearcut who your quarterback is going to be next year. I think even Kyler Murray that we talked about a little earlier, he made a post on Instagram and I think he just took off his comments for for whatever reason, but that’s that’s neither here nor there. But I do think that the Cardinals need to start looking at 2026 as their future. That’s what they need to do. Um, right now I think they could probably land themselves because of how much bad is in the NFL. Tennessee, are they ever going to win another game besides us? Probably not. The Giants, is Dart coming back? I don’t know. Cleveland, is Shador going to give him life? Is Shuck from uh New Orleans going to give them some sort of life? We don’t know. We don’t know. Um, I’m just hoping that Cincinnati with Burl coming back. I’m not sure if it’s this week or next week, but hopefully they start winning. Um, who else? Uh, I’m just hoping freaking Atlanta keeps winning if if not they beat us so they don’t get a freaking top 10 pick or or at least not in front of us because there’s rumors that the Rams might get a quarterback, too. So, I would hate for Tai Simpson to get sniped away from us two picks before because of the way we wanted it to play out when it was, you know, when we got two first round picks and unfortunately CJ Strad and the Texans had to be real good and put us at the 27th overall pick. So, I think we can move on a little bit. I think that we can move up a little bit. I just don’t think top one. It’s very interesting. I just want the option like just the option to have the chance to be in quarterback contention. Yeah. Cuz like I wouldn’t be completely miserable if Kyler was a quarterback in 2026. But like I would just like to go into the off season with like a top six pick and just the option to pivot. You know what I mean? Like I just want the option. I don’t want to be stuck at pick 14 where it’s like, okay, now we’re just kind of stuck in no man’s land where we have to give away a ton of assets. We don’t have a super valuable first round pick, so it doesn’t hold as much weight from a team dropping from, let’s just say, number four to number 14 versus four to seven. Like that alone saves you a lot of capital, 100%. And if we don’t have that option, then it’s going to hurt where it’s like we can trade Kyler for a second and then use the second and the first to trade up or use a third and a first to trade up three picks. Like just I want to have the option. I want to have the duality where it’s like Kyler Murray could be an option, but we also have let’s see where Ty Simpson falls or let’s see where this guy falls. I don’t want to be stuck at 14 where we have to mortgage and do what we did with Josh Rosen and kind of just trade the farm and then let’s just say it doesn’t pan out and then it just doesn’t pan out and then you’re like well well back in this position again. Yeah. So I’m I’m just hoping for consistency to be honest with you. Agree. No, I agree. And here’s the thing, right? I mean, I think when the Cardinals do decide to make a a play, um, and I’m assuming there’s going to be a lot of new burner accounts being made out there because those those Kyler Murray burners are soon probably going to become Ty Simpson burners or or maybe Mendoza burners or whoever those new quarterback is, but we’re going to rally like that’s what it is because it’s a Cardinal fan base. We’re going to support what they do. But of course, what we do is, you know, if it’s not working, we’re going to talk about it. And that’s just the proof of the pudding. So, I’m excited to see what the new era is going to look like. Although right now the Cardinals aren’t coming out and saying that Kyler is being moved off of, which obviously they shouldn’t, right? You don’t want to lose Trade Valley, but a lot of consensus of national media is thinking that this is the best for both just to kind of go their separate ways. And I agree. I agree. I’m kind of growing there cuz like no matter talent-wise if I think Kyler’s the guy or not or can win you games, I just don’t know if we’re competitive in these next three years to be honest with you. I just don’t know how competitive we’re going to be. I think we need to do a lot more roster construction. And if Kyler loses that trade value, let’s just say when he’s 30 and isn’t as mobile and loses that asset, then we’re just screwed and we just made a bad decision. Like Patrick Peterson could have been traded earlier. Honestly, I wanted to see him retire a Cardinal, but like if I’m making the decision now and Patrick Peterson comes out and requests that trade and I’m like, we don’t really have assets right now. Like the fan in me, the guy who grew up watching the Cardinals and grew up watching Patrick Peterson, never wants to see him go, right? Like flat out. But he has value. We probably could have got him a second round pick or like a first round pick. Like that’s just one of the top corners in the league. And then obviously hindsight’s 2020. But like from the GM, you got to know when to move off. Yeah. When there’s value. And if there’s value and you don’t think you’re winning, I don’t think we’re winning. Like the way the MCS has played out the last three years, I don’t think we’re winning. like flat out. So like capitalize on value, go a different direction everywhere. I think Pensing I think his contract is over. He should have been fired. I think we can both agree after like week three. This this guy should have a job. Jonathan Ganon is kind of losing me to be honest. I’m out at this point. Like he literally has to save his job with four wins, three wins to back this, right? Which I don’t think is going to happen. So I think he’s out. And then Nick Rallis, he was doing well with little, but now we don’t have little. We have injuries, but we don’t have little. This is a defense that has been consistently bottom 20. Yeah. And we have a defensive-minded head coach, and it’s just at my point, that’s just unacceptable. Agree. So, back him up. Let’s start new with everywhere. All four positions, all four slots. Let’s go new. I know Michael Bidwell probably won’t do that. And I’m assuming if I had to guess how it’s going to go, Nick Res is going to stay. He might take a couple head coach interviews, which please at this point just take it take them. Like I I wouldn’t have said this last year, but Nick Ralis, if he’s gone, that’s fine by me. But Jonathan Ganon, I’m assuming he’ll be back. Monty will be back, which we haven’t touched on Monty. How do you feel about Monty? I don’t mind Monty, but of course, like I said earlier, right, like I don’t think he’s the worst general manager um in the world. But I also on the other side of the coin, I feel like there’s so much more growth that he could have done better into three years. And I hate the fact that like it takes baby steps for this organization to do better at something because the way I like to break it down is three categories for the general manager. Trading ability, drafting ability, as well as free agency ability. That’s the way I like to kind of break it down. Everybody’s got their own kind of spectrum. I think drafting, he’s solid. Um I think he might even be a little bit better than solid, but I do believe that’s his what he can do very well at, right? he can target, you know, guys and bring them on over and he’s done well at that. Free agency, I feel like there’s just so much left to be desired there. I think that the big swings that he’s taken on with Josh Sweat has worked very wondrous. Thank God for Josh Sweat. M Wilson senior is another good one as well. Kazier White in the first year. I liked him. I know he really he didn’t come back this year, but at the end of the day, Carter’s made a decision. It is what it is, right? But those are the top three guys that I can think right now because there’s been maybe seven, eight, maybe even nine guys that he’s brought in that has done nothing for and that’s through free agency. Nothing for this organization. And that’s kind of where I look at him saying, “You got to get better at that.” And not just that, the ability of helping or trading as well. I mean, I like the Baron Browning. I think that was cool. We paid him. Um, unfortunately, he’s hurt. Um, but not his fault, but just kind of the decisions. But also too that another thing I kind of have on him as well is the fact that like where are we at? Like sorry lost my train of thought. He he has not done enough for me to say this is a guy that’s going to be able to help us when [ __ ] hits the fan. And this is what I mean by that. Shawn Murphy Bunting goes down in the beginning of the season. Starling Thomas goes down. All both guys arguably could have been starters for the Cardinals. Right? We were talking about how much depth, how much young talent we have on this roster for the Cardinals. Um, and unfortunately, just like the running back position with James Connor and and Trey Benson going down in IR, his response and his solution was, “Let me bring these practice squads guys up.” And I get it, you were what, three, five at the time when the trade deadline came on. You don’t want to make a move like that, but like the Cardinals only think this year. The other thought of 2020, okay, well, yeah, we’re not a good team, but like you could think about other years, too. like you can get a solid guy here and there or you can get somebody else besides cuz I think they just brought in I just saw a tweet here not too long ago from Donnie Durham of SI that we ended up signing somebody to the active roster. It’s like some guy named Jamar Jefferson to the Cardinals because I don’t think Trey Benson’s going to be like that’s the that’s just Monty Also for special right like the Kai time sign but this is Monty also for special guys that like are not really people that do really well for for at all. I just I don’t know man he could do better in that. So, as a general manager, do I think he’s going to get fired? No. But if he does, I I wouldn’t be mad. It is what it is at this point. I think he’s going to get more time. He’s okay. He’s okay. Solid all right is where I would say he’s been. I mean, there’s been some flashes. There’s been some good things. I feel like first round picks, he’s nailed nailed a couple in the back end as well. Hasn’t been perfect. Uh free agency, I feel like, is a little tougher cuz if a team is willing to let you go, then they know something obviously. and Josh Swed has been fantastic. Mac Wilson has been fantastic. But then I think that 2023 going into 2024 is where a lot of people including you and I kind of like what are you doing? It kind of made sense because it’s like these guys are Iron Men played 16 games. Balo Nichols and Justin Jones. They come here, they get hurt, they don’t produce. The the paychecks for both of them are a little outlandish. Like I understand it, elevate the talent and it would have made sense, but like they’ve just been non-factors since coming to Arizona. And it’s crazy because since everyone comes here, they just become non-durable. And I don’t know why that is. It’s kind of like the same thing with the Suns. Jaylen Green comes here and now he’s banged up. It makes no sense. Like something with Arizona’s in the air where they come here and they just Yeah. Like the water doesn’t nourish the bones and the ligaments or something like something’s going on in Arizona. But it’s just frustrating. I think Monty’s done okay. I think he’s the only one that has a job that’s like safe. I think Jonathan Gon will be back unfortunately. But if it was my perfect world and this is Madden, they’re both out of here. I’m trading Kyler because I don’t think we can win. Ganon’s gone. Psing’s gone. That’s what I was going to ask. Okay. Ganon comes back, but Ganon’s gone. Okay. Yeah, they’re all gone. If it’s my perfect world, but I think he’ll be back, unfortunately. Sorry, I meant to say Ganon stays, but Petting’s gone is what I meant to say. Okay, I get you. Sounds good. I’m cool with that. Yeah, all of them please go. But Ganon will probably be back if I had to guess with Ris and Monty. And then Kyler’s gone. That’s that’s my prediction. Kyler and are out. The crazy thing is that like you’re going to have to get an offensive coordinator and try to steal them away from somebody. Like that’s the crazy thing. Like if you want Ganon to try to develop a young quarterback, which might be the direction the Cardinals go, do you trust Ganon to do that? like you’re going to have to steal away offensive guru or somebody that nobody knows, right? You have to steal him away and say, “Hey, come here because we’re the most established organization out there. Leave your great, you know, place over there and come here.” Like, I don’t I just don’t know like how much intrigue he can actually bring if you move away from petting. And I’m not saying don’t get leave petting for love of God. Leave him in LA if that’s the last game we play. Leave him. I don’t care where we leave him. But like do we trust Jonathan Ganon to develop that young talent? That’s the big question out there. And because of monetary reasons, that might be why he stays because Bidwell is a cheap ass. Yeah, I I don’t trust Gon though. That’s the thing. I really as a defensive-minded head coach, the defense has been bottom 21, like ranked 24th in like every season so far besides this one where we’re 21. Yeah. Like we’re hovering in trash territory. That’s not where you want to be for a defensive minded head coach in three years to not write this ship. And this year is a year I had expectations. The other two, not really. I had no expectations for the other two years. And this is a year I had full expectations where we’re getting 10, nine wins and maybe 11 and we just like that’s just the furthest thing from what’s going to happen. And like you want to be like temper your expectations, but the way this roster was constructed, the defensive flashes we’ve seen at times where the defense is playing at a high level, the offense is playing at a high level. Kyler was looking great. The run game was flourishing. We lose our offensive line coach and then now we can’t run the football. Yeah. And like a testament to both these quarterbacks because they’ve gone through both of their own trials and tribulations where Jacob’s out here getting smacked and doesn’t have a run game and last game was like the first game he was really kept upright and it’s a lot of just like we’re not competitive in either of these games but like Jacobe in the first two he played Green Bay and the Colts competitively. Yeah. like test him because we don’t have a run game. Something we haven’t had all season and it’s just like I’m just so sick of watching this. Like 21 to 23 is our handicap. Like we get to 21 223 it’s just it’s where I expect us to get to. Like once we get there we forget how to play offense. Yeah. It’s just so frustrating. But the season I think has just gone terrible. I think both of us are checked out at this point. Just kind of praying on the draft at this point which is not a spot you want to be in. And November, but I think we’re both there. Yeah. You just pray for teams like, you know, Tennessee. No, well, not Tennessee, but like Cleveland or New Orleans and the Jets and Vegas to start winning some games. Like, give us something here. Like maybe they could steal one from a division rival or something to kind of help out the Cardinals because like you said, I mean, the most winnable games on this this next seven game stretch is Jaguars, which is this week in a couple days, and then you got Atlanta, um, which at this point, freak, let Atlanta beat you. So, you kind of hurt LA. Uh, so they’re not picking in front of you cuz there’s rumors out there that they’re probably looking for the successor of Matthew Stafford. Imagine that world where we tried what they did and we failed at it but they’re succeeding and on top of that they get the quarterback you want. Damn. That that’s just not ideal world, man. But I guess curse of the Cardinals, right? If McVey gets his hands on Ty Simpson, hypothetically or just a top quarterback. Even tell me that, man. I’m gonna be very upset. I’m gonna be very, very upset. So, let’s hope that doesn’t happen. Atlanta pulls off some wins. Hopefully, they smack us to be honest. I agree. I hope so, too. If I’m being so for real, hopefully they just put BTA and just put us in the grave. At this point, I just want to get put in the grave by every team. Like, Ben Jacobe, go sign Clayton Ton, right? And just rock with this for the rest of the year. Wherever Clayton Ton’s at, whatever practice squad he’s on at this point, go sign him and let him let him let him develop total struggle. Yeah, let him struggle. Lizard Blue still believe in him I which is so funny. So I don’t know just lose please and thank you but appreciate you for helping on. Yeah man I’m really What were you going to say? You were watching what? So I’m just saying like I’m really watching these games just to watch Trey McBride feast. Like that’s really because I have Charlie Pride in my fantasy league. I’m just watching have a freaking historic season. Like that’s all I’m really watching for to be real with you. Like that’s it. Yeah, there’s a positive. Seven touchdowns putting up crazy numbers right now. episode. Shout out to Trey McBride for being one of the only bright spots on this team. Him and Paris Johnson, Buddha Baker. Appreciate y’all. Absolutely. Would you trade Buddha? Speaking of, why not? At this point, why not? I mean, I agree. He’s like 29 years old playing high level football. Go get a second. Same with Kyler. I just don’t see a world where we’re winning. Just agree. Rebuild. Rebuild at this point. So, I’m glad we’re both on the same page. We’re we’re ready to just blow it up cuz at this point, let’s just let’s just rip the band-aid off. Just the motion. Yeah, just rip it. Just rip it off and just embrace it. Buddha requested a trade, wanted to get paid, obviously wants to be a cardinal for life, but I’m ready to make the hard decisions. A lot of people love Buddha Baker. A lot of people love Patrick Peterson. Let’s make the hard decision. Do what’s right. Go capitalize on value. Let’s pack them up. But appreciate you hopping on. Where can they find you one more time? Uh, man, anything the a sports fan. Uh, main spots are going to be X and Twitter uh or slash Twitter and then Instagram and then YouTube’s the biggest following. I got a Tik Tok. You probably find it out there, but I don’t really post as much as I want to. But the a sports fan is where you’re gonna find me. Go ahead and check him out. Appreciate you once again for hopping on. But that is all we got for today’s video. It has been your boy Mythic and a sports fan. Peace out. Later, guys.

  1. I agree Petzing is a bad OC. Tho, Kliff offensive scheme was Kyler style of football he's played his whole career and he still didn't succeed. Sad to say but it's time to move on..

  2. Mythic, it’s not that Kyler has no trade value….its the fact that Monty, in his incompetence, has tanked Kyler’s trade value. The entire NFL already knows that the cardinals are going to have to trade Kyler due to M.O.’s bush league handling of the situation….therefore no one is going to offer real value for Kyler, they will wait & force Monty to release him or take penny’s on the dollar for hi.. M.O. is the reason the team is where it is over the last 3 years…he has missed on 3 of his 4 1st round selections, and 2 of his 3 2nd rounders, and 5 of his 7 3rd round selections.

  3. Heres my thought Kyler is coming back before the rams Texans games nothing to fight for but really shows haters why he's QB1 bro his foot injury is real and in a week or 2 hell be practicing mark my words cards for life 😊
