But let’s get to this one between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers on the backtoback in this one taking down the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday. 131 116. A dominant outing from James Harden. Looking like vintage James Harden putting up 55 points in that game. Cleveland ready, waiting, and rested for this game. 11-6 straight up, 5-2 against the number this season. They did knock off Indiana 120 to 109 in their last game. They’ve won seven of their last 10, but didn’t cover once again against the Pacers in that one. They were laying 14. And uh you know, the Cleveland Cavaliers just haven’t felt as dominant as they did last season, excuse me, last season. Now granted, you know, they got off to a hell of a start last year. They didn’t start the year 11 and six like they have this season, but we’ve really seen the Cleveland Cavaliers kind of pick it up. Cleveland kind of maybe came out of the gate a little bit slower than you would have hoped this year, but they’ve they’ve turned it around nicely. They’ve been picking up wins left and right. It’s just a matter of sometimes they’re the fact is they’re laying these big numbers and aren’t able to cover them. But they are laying points here against a Clippers team that you know continues to have guys sit out of the lineup and you know on a on a backto back you know historically this has been a Clippers team that you know has been okay 10 and N against the spread going back to the start of last season when they’re playing on no rest but you’re still if you’re the Clippers you know you’re still trying to navigate your way through the injuries you know you’ve still got the injury situation with Kawhi Leonard like will he play won’t he play as he’s still dealing with that sprained ankle. Bogdanovich was out for the for the uh the Charlotte game. Bradley Bo was out. You know, Dererick Jones Jr.’s still out. Jordan Miller still working his way back. Now, at the time this video is being recorded, I have not seen an injury report released for this game. Neither for Cleveland either. But I still think that at their core, the Cleveland Cavaliers are still the better team by a fair margin in this matchup with with, you know, just knowing what we know about the state of these two rosters. and Cleveland going back to the start of last year have been elite when it comes to you know playing when they have a rest advantage. When you when you go back to Cleveland since the start of last season when they’ve had a rest advantage over their opponent they are 15 and six against the spread 71% cover percentage. They just do well against teams that are struggling with the rest spot. And while, like I said, while the uh the LA Clippers have been sort of a 50-50 team or just above a 50-50 team on no rest, I still think this is a lot for the Clippers to have to deal with here with the Hornets, uh, you know, in the rear view and now having to deal with the Cavaliers on no rest. So, I’m going to lay the points with Cleveland in this one. I think at home is where we get their best effort here. I think they uh I think they win this one by double digits.
