I don’t think coaches draft players lol they have input I’m sure but isn’t that the GMs job? Steve Keim or some shit?
The only reason they hired him was FOR Kyler.
Josh Rosen was a top 10 pick and the Cardinals did WORSE after he played. Kyler is still the best QB of that draft class unless Daniel Jones shows this year isn’t a fluke.
To all those saying “Arizona needed a QB so they had to draft Kyler” seem to forget that Indiana Jones was taken at 6 in the same draft.

I don’t know, cardinals needed a qb, and they didn’t need nick bosa at the time, so it was the only real choice. Josh rosen is a different story.
Taking a qb at 1 is a time honored tradition in the nfl draft and they had Josh Rosen as their qb so anything would’ve been better than that.
Kyler was drafted the year before by the A’s in the 1st at like #7
