Eagles News: Moro Ojomo is generating Pro Bowl buzz

We have 3 Pro Bowl level DT’s, we’re living in the good ol days boys.
Howie used to lock guys like this up early. Not so much recently.
7th round pick. Dude has been on fire.
Clint Hurtt (Eagles DLine Coach) is the largest human I’ve ever seen
Because of Howie’s background, and Banner’s early influence, the Eagles devote more brainpower to the cap than any team in the league. And it’s not just crunching numbers, it’s projecting the cap against future revenue levels.
All that to say, they’ve already got their Plan A B C for performance scenarios for variable guys like Nolan, Ojomo, Davis, etc. They have to lock in their core over the next two off-seasons, as significant void money starts hitting in 2028 and beyond. There’s also an expected jump in the cap coming with the new media rights deal around that time.
My guess is they’ll start drafting heavy on the offense the next three drafts to offset the $ scale tipping toward the defense. Part of that calculation is which guys could potentially net a 3rd round comp, or maybe a higher pick if traded.
There’s no rush to extend Ojomo because he and Davis are under contract for 2026 (Davis on the FYO). If Ty Robinson develops into the next plug n play rotational piece, one of them are gone. Ojomo would be my guess in that case.
If they don’t go in some order of OT OG TE with the first 3 picks next year I’ll be shocked.
Can’t go the Pro Bowl this season sadly 😉
jesus it’s going to be impossible to keep a lot of these guys lmao
I was happy when we drafted him, very glad hes turning out
The 2024 Eagles class gets a lot of love, and rightfully so, but holy shit the 2023 class is incredible: Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, Tyler Steen, Tanner McKee and Moro Ojomo were all in that class. Even the less than optimal picks of Sydney Brown and Kelee Ringo contribute.
(I know Tanner McKee hasn’t done much yet, but he’s a helluva backup)
What’s the chance we extend him instead of one of Davis or Carter
7th round studs. People were saying we would be ass when we lost a lot of our defensive pieces last year but the backups now starters really proven themselves. Three amazing DT’s and really rooting for Ty Robinson to kick ass eventually. Hopefully he gets some playing time but we need every single win to get the conference. In the race with the Rams.
I wonder who they stick with long term, Davis or Ojomo.
“Inside zone this way! Inside zone this way”-Moro Ojomo circa Green Bay game
I was fine with Milton leaving soley because of Moro. Glad he lived up to the expectations. Having three pro bowl DTs is insane
