LEAFS LOSE TO HABS IN EMBARRASSING FASHION… RANT

There you go. Halves win 5-2. We’re watching now Joshua’s going after Jack Guy. Little too late, man. Little too late. And this is what I want to talk about. Like, how are guys not showing a fight till the end there? Like, it’s just you never deserve to be in that game. The context is the context. No Austin Matthews, no Matthew Nys, and other injuries around it. The Havs have those other injuries around it, but that’s those are kind of right-offs. Austin Matthews, Matthew Ny, those are massive losses to your team. So, going into this week when I looked at the three matchups, I was like, you got to get at least two of the three wins. Get got to get at least four of the possible six points. You got three of them. It’s so early in the season, but the fight is pissing me off, or I should say the lack of fight from certain guys. And I mean, just the brain farts, right? Like, there’s so many layers to what’s going on with this team right now. What bothers me the most above the lack of fight is the lack of fight for your goalie. Joseph stands on his head. You let the guy be hung out to dry completely. It’s a mercy pull. Anyone blaming Joseph is out of their mind. That’s a mercy pull. That is 100% a mercy pull from Craig Buby because the team is embarrassing their tendi to 12 shots on net for Montreal. It’s out of this world unacceptable when you when you look at what they did to Wool in this game. And again, I understand the injuries. It doesn’t matter. The lack the lack of fight for your goalie is what drives me the most nuts. So, is it a change? Where where’s the change? Um I I think a lot of Leaf fans are asking who’s at fault here. I really re I really wish Matthews and N would be in the lineup and they’d have these struggles. Uh for the context of this then you know the changes are clear in this situation. It’s like well the injuries are the excuse so we got to wait to see. I hate that. I hate that cuz it’s just a waste of time. And really if it if it gets to it where the players come back those players Matthews and Matthew Ny they come back and it’s still like this. probably mid December when you’re making changes. Well, oh, the St. Louis Blues in 2019 won a Stanley Cup after being last place in January. Yeah. Yeah, I get it. This is the first game where I’m really going to say, you know, that that one video where I’m I’m really zoomed in and going, no negative tone on Morgan Riley. Yeah, I’m going to say a negative tone on Morgan Riley. That was like three weeks ago, right? Morgan Riley’s offense for me offsets a lot of the liability stuff, but in a game like this, Mo, you just can’t be doing some of the stuff that you did. There’s got to be more urgency. You cannot let Josh Anderson do a little circle and get a shot on Wool there. You just can’t. Is that a Is that a stop? More more times than not, yeah, Wool probably stops that uh fourth goal, but Wool made four or five saves before that where he stood in his head. So, um my biggest thing is you don’t fight for a goalie. He allows a goal like that. Um it could have been a much different game if you score a goal before the end of the second period and you’re down 3-1. And then of course, look what happened with the Leafs, right? Knander scores. It could have been 3-2, different story. Um, and then you’re out pulling your goalie desperately with three, four, five, six minutes left. So, um, you know, give me your thoughts, guys. I’m going to talk about some mock trades, stuff like that. Uh, but it just it just drives me nuts the lack of fight from certain guys. But you know what, Lton, Lorent, there’s there are some guys that are that are showing it at the very least. Tavvaris can only do so much. He’s 35 years old and this guy’s like trying trying to will this team into it. And that’s the guy that lost the captaincy too, which also another story for another day. But it’s really really showing that that guy probably shouldn’t have lost the sea considering the circumstances of what we’re seeing right now. So subscribe, like, comment, all that good stuff. Guys, thanks for joining the stream for the Leafs halves game and thank you for watching all the videos. I hope you guys stick around for good stuff and yeah, I’m going to leave it at that. So, I hope you guys have a great night. Uh, we’ll see you on the next one. And yeah, keep an eye on my ex or Instagram or I’ll just post uh on YouTube like I did. If you guys have the notifications on for YouTube, you’ll get notified. Thanks, guys. Peace.

  1. I'm really looking at this Leafs season through the lens of what the Knights went through on a massive lines/system overhaul… 1 step back, but next season to take 2 steps forwards…. and you want to talk "massive losses"… ok… so… the Leafs currently, are without:
    1. Their #1 franchise center
    2. Their #1 left winger
    3. Their # 1 defender
    4. Their # 2 defender
    5. (after early in tonight's game) their # 3 defender
    6. Their number # 1 goalie.
You show me ANY FUCKING TEAM……EVER…. to sustain THAT level of injuries and have success….. go ahead… I'll wait….

  2. MLSE is about selling popcorn and cotton candy. they don't care, they only see cash flowing in. every year we get beat up and tossed around in the playoffs. might as well have Justine Trudeau coaching this team and change to logo to a rainbow.

  3. It’s not “early in the season” it’s been Ten.Fucking.Years
    Ten years
    Two team presidents
    Three General managers
    Three head coaches
At least a dozen assistant coaches
It’s the core players who will
And I quote “show up when it matters”

    Apparently it hasn’t mattered yet

  4. Big soft slow team lol.. when everyone comes back from injury they are even slower.. d is extremely old and soft… tre ruined Calgary and destroyed the leafs lol..

  5. leafs defense is pathetic . they have no depth . they dismantled a contender and you have a bottom feeder now. leafs are destined for the bottom 6 and have nothing to build off

  6. I Implore all Leafs fans—whether season ticket holders or occasional attendees—to SAVE the team by refraining from attending the upcoming games. Let the arena remain visually stunning in its emptiness until the general manager is dismissed. If we permit the current GM, Tree, to continue running the team for even a moment longer, the damage inflicted will be profoundly detrimental.

Anyone managing a company understands that one should never allow a GM, who has recently mismanaged the organization, to rectify the situation himself . It is essential to hire a new GM to handle the chaos instead.

  7. No, Xhekaj went after Joshua. The core two ain't enough. Leafs should be relegated to the AHL. Habs were missing just as much if not more, but still out on a clinic.

  8. There’s no point getting upset. They don’t have the players. It’s basically a bad ahl team. They don’t have a chance. Tre needs to be a man and except they made some mistakes and rebuild

  9. I hate to say it but whatever they do at this point is likely akin to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I don't see this team being a cup contender and because they're handcuffed with terrible contracts like Reilly's, their options of retooling are too limited. Management will likely be fired and while it may start with Berube, it should be Treliving, for his fingerprints are all over this team and with the personnel they have, even when they win, it looks undisciplined and ugly. I'm pretty much done with them until they at the very least, do a major retooling.

  10. #1 problem on this team is in our own end TOR just puck watch.
#2 problem we can NOT match up against most teams because we have 0 fighters.
#3 problem Matthews is a complete dud.
All of this equals fire Treliving ASAP and get a real GM that builds a good team.

  11. Comparing this team to the Blues is a bit rich. Berube had one of the best d-corp in the league on that team. The fact that they were in last place was the anomaly, they had no business being in last place which in the end proved they were a much better team. Our team doesn't have 3 stalwart dmen like Boowmeester, Parayko and Pietreangelo to fall back on…

  12. I can tell you right away your problem is that the boys on that roster don't wanna win for each other, and they don't wanna win for the fans. Simple as. They blame each other for losses, and blame one of the most die-hard, long-suffering, loyal fanbases in Hockey for putting "too much pressure" on them. They don't want to win, and they don't see their team as their life-long spot to fight for. You start to fix the problem by giving the C to someone who can actually inspire the boys and light a fire under them, but at this point the well's been poisoned long enough that you gotta start building from the ground up.

I'm a Sens fan and I almost feel bad for you, but that's what the problem is. The Oilers wanna win for McDrai and the faithful. The Sens wanna win for each other and the fans. The Flames wanna win for the fans, the Habs wanna win for each other. The Leafs don't want to win.

  13. The real differences between a team like the Oilers struggling and the Leafs is that the Oilers are coming off back to back finals runs, have missed both their top wingers in RNH and Hyman due to injuries, had their top D-man playing as bad as he’d ever played, and their goalies were borderline unplayable.

At this point though, players are starting to return, Bouchard has returned to a high level offensively, and Stuart Skinner at the very least is playable again.

And most importantly, the Oilers do this every year. The Leafs don’t.

  14. Yeah it Sucks Leafs need to get their Act together, Work hard Capitalize on Opportunities, Power Play needs to Wake up, Defense to get R Done, we need to Draft better. A Defensemen and Forwards. For Starters.

  15. Pezzetta was so happy to get the chance to join the Leafs and yet they won't even play him over the bums they play now…unbelievable.
No grit with this team, no team bonding, no speed and no defense in their own end…just a sad sack of a team now 🙁

  16. I think a big reason why our team has been really bad is because our defense is really bad. Maybe our players have lost confidence. I would trade Rielly and try to get a number 1 defenceman which is a must. If I was the leafs look into the defence this year
