Tennessee Titans fan immediate reaction to another loss to the Seattle Seahawks

I got to tell you something, folks. I got to tell you, the Titans lose again. They fall to 1 and 10. They lose to the Seattle Seahawks. I’m back in the car today switching up the scenery a little bit. I know there are no moral victories in the NFL. I understand that. But for where this team is and for what this team is right now, I’m proud of this team today, man. I’m proud of the Tennessee Titans and the way they played today against a team that on paper on paper they didn’t even belong on the field with the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are good. I don’t know if you guys have been keeping up with the Seahawks this year, but I know they lost to the Rams last week, but they’ve been brutalizing teams. I’m talking about over at halftime, okay? And so coming into this game, I thought the Titans were just going to get whooped. I was like, we’re gonna get destroyed by these Seahawks. And for a little bit of the game, it looked like we were. It was 23-3 at one point, it was 30-10 at another point, and this was all in the second half. But this team just kept fighting, man. And I got to talk about Cam Ward. I thought it was his best game of his NFL career. It’s very young NFL career. I thought it was his best game so far. I thought he was decisive. I thought he was playing with confidence, using his legs more, which has been a big complaint from a lot of people that Cam needs to use his legs not only to extend plays, but to take off sometimes and get yards. And I thought that today he did that. And I I thought he was throwing the ball well, wasn’t putting the ball in harm’s way. um you know had a couple of plays where it looked like everything had broken around him and everything was going in a bad direction and then he made something happen. some of that magic from Miami that we saw that made everybody like him so much and just the comfort that he played with reminiscent of what you saw from him at Miami looked like the game was moving slow for him and and you have to keep in mind he’s going against a top five defense again in Seattle and he’s got a wide receiving crew that is a rookie Chimray DK who we will talk about in a moment. You’ve got Van Jefferson and three practice squad guys and he’s out there making stuff happen and getting the team back in this game. He had a rushing touchdown which was amazing, but also I don’t want to see him go flipping through the air too often and then and then a passing touchdown at the end to cut the lead to six. I just thought Cam Ward played really well. And if you are a Titans fan, even if you haven’t liked what you’ve seen up until this point, today was a reason for hope. Today was an opportunity to look at Cam Ward and say, “Okay, if he can keep building on that, like that’s what you want. Wins and losses. We We’re so past caring about that because they’re one and 10.” But if you can see more of that, if you can see him continue and this was against I mean last week 95 yards against Houston at the end and Houston maybe the best defense in the league. Seattle’s a top five defense in the league and he was doing good things out there against them. Had his best game of the season. There’s a lot to like about Cam Ward and the way he’s progressing in spite of the fact that his coaching well his coach got fired. the coaches that are still there are trying their best and he, you know, Calvin Ridley broke his leg and he’s getting what, not even 30 yards of rushing from his uh running backs. That’s another part of this, too. Last week, Tony Pard and Taj Spears combined for 25 yards rushing. Today, I think they had 27. So, he was the leading rusher for the second week in a row. just not getting any help from anybody hardly and I just thought he was he was super today. I thought he played well. I thought there was that it was reason to be encouraged. Great reason to be encouraged. The throw to restrepo rolling to the right, falling out of bounds, throwing it across the field to I mean that’s just that’s next level stuff and he’s only played in 11 games. So and he’s been doing I mean he does that regularly. So, a lot to like about Cam Ward today. And I hate to act like this was a win, even though it was a loss and we fell to 1 and 10. But in context of what this team is and what this season is for the Titans, this was kind of a win. You have to treat this like it was a win cuz it wasn’t just Cam Ward. Gunner Helm finally, they’re getting him the ball. He’s doing a lot of nice things. We’re seeing Chimray DK, I think, could be an allpro punt returner. I mean, a 90 yard punt return for a touchdown. He’s just been super and doing some good stuff in the passing game as well. This rookie class, man, because it ain’t just on offense. On offense, you’ve got Cam playing well today, Gunnar Helm playing well, Chimay DK playing well, but guess what? On defense, you got Kevin Winston playing well. You got Marcus Harris, a sixthround rookie playing well. Don’t look now, Mike Boronzi, but this rookie class is playing well. And that’s what you want to see. That’s what we said before the season started. Regardless of win, loss, record, if these young guys can show you something, Cam Ward especially, but all of them combined, this rookie class, some of the guys that are secondyear players, if you can get something out of them and you can see them improving as the season goes on, then you walk out of this season saying, “Thumbs up.” And today was what you wanted to see. Today was a prime example of what you want to see. All due respect to the Seahawks. The Seahawks are awesome. Jackson Smith, Jigba. I don’t know of any receiver that’s playing better than him right now. Sam Darnold playing really well for them, but today for the Titans, they looked like they belonged on the field, which is more than I can say about some other Sundays. I thought Jeffrey Simmons as in the fourth quarter especially made some plays to I mean to literally blow up everything Seattle tried to do and get the Titans the ball back. Penalties killed the Titans at times. That’s still a big issue. But, you know, I I just these guys are playing hard and they’re not quitting. This Titans team is not quitting. They This is not a team that is phoning it in and just waiting for the end of the season. They’re out there. I mean, they’re giving it all they got. And that’s a good sign. That’s a good sign for the guys that are going to be back on this team next year. And, you know, I I I’m just I’m encouraged today. I I know it was a loss and there are no moral victories in the NFL, but I’m encouraged. Um Xavier Restrepo, there’s another rookie for you. Two catches for 26 yards. He was the recipient of the crazy Cam Ward play where he rolled to his right and threw back across his body and then he almost had a touchdown. He got us down to the one yard line on the drive where we scored the touchdown at the end. Why would you not bring him back up next week? I mean, no, it wasn’t like Jerry Rice or anything, but like what what what do you have to look? I mean, he gave you a heck of a lot more than Mason Kinsey gave you today. James Procha did a couple of nice things, but I mean, he’s a rookie. Get him all the reps you can get him just to see. I know I Manor is probably going to be back next week. I think we got Jacksonville next week. I thought it was Cleveland, but apparently it’s Jacksonville. Like, why why not? He’s a rookie. He’s a rookie. Cam likes having him out there. I thought, you know, he did some good things, too. Um, and I’ll tell you, another rookie that I want to see getting more involved is Kell Mullings, who’s a sixthround running back that they took who was hurt and been on IR, but they just activated him yesterday. You’re clearly not getting anything in the run game from Tony Pard and Spears who who can be, you know, kind of electric in the pass game. He’s not giving you much in the run game. Put Mullings in there and see what he can do. The rest of the rookies are showing up. So either way, I I know this was a loss and you can’t sugarcoat that and I’m not going to try to, but it’s really best case scenario cuz the Titans played better. They showed improvement. They showed fight. Cam played well. A lot of the young guys played well and you still lost. So, you don’t hurt your draft stock. Did Thanksgiving’s this week. You got something to be thankful for. A week where we don’t feel like absolute garbage about this organization because like in the middle of a one and 10 season, you could watch that game today and say, “Now, hold on. Is that hope on the horizon potentially?” Like that was fun. I had fun watching them today. Can you believe that? I had fun watching the Titans today cuz Cam was having fun. It looked like they I mean they were just it it looked like he’s settling in and and these young guys are playing well and win, lose or draw, that’s fun to watch. So, I’m excited to watch him play Jacksonville next week, bro. Maybe we can leave this season feeling better about things after all. Tighten

  1. Much respect you guys! Left you a 2nd comment on that last video. Good job, really; I was stressed out this whole game. I hope you guys get a decent coach next year and can really get going✌️ Cam really has gone through baptism by fire (I don't mean us, I mean the whole year). Much respect to that kid, considering all the other QBs out there who really flamed out. He's got great character and skill✌️ Best of luck you guys!

I'll repeat from my other comment, I like this #1 Cam better than the hello kitty version 😂✌️

  2. Couldn’t agree more. Would love to talk Titans with you sometime! Also… I’m sorry but they should have activated Restrepo sooner. The chemistry and trust is there!

  3. Cam looked pretty good today, I won’t lie. Also, this team is so deficient in talent it’s crazy. Watching other teams looks like a different sport with the speed and athleticism in the field.

  4. Agree with ya Big B, proud of the guys today. Showed heart and fight all the way till the clock hit zero. Haven’t seen a rookie class like this since 2019. Whether it’s out of necessity or not, they are showing out. You are right, they are not quitting and let X play, why not? Definitely was more impactful then mason kinsey.

  5. Now the new excuse is the schedule 😂 news flash it’s the nfl pretty much everyone has a good defense…next excuse will be the color of cams jersey 😂

  6. We actually looked some what of a team in that second half there was glimpses of what we could be but Xavier but play from here on out he should’ve been playing but Cam showed a lot of heart today and that td run showed guts

  7. Seahawks fan here. Ward looked amazing and honestly he's the future. He WILLED so many plays. Cant teach that. Tank the rest of season for 1st rd pick. Oline first, then a receiver maybe

  8. Can’t lie, yall impressed a lot of Seahawks fan. Never gave up, showcased a half dozen or so real building blocks and Cam looks like a centerpiece. That non-catch tho made it look really close on paper.

  9. You are becoming my favorite Titans podcast. Tyler cool And I know he's just doing his job but I am tired of him trying to sell something every 60 seconds That gets very annoying, 🤣🤣 Again I know that's the locked on podcast making him do that but it gets annoying

  10. Seahawks fan, been following the Titans here and there (I love following bad AFC teams, Browns, Titans, Jets, Raiders etc.). This was a great game by the Titans. Converted so many 3rd and 4th downs, and Cam played great! Helped that two of our better linebackers were out with injury, but even with that this defense is still elite, so I'm proud of the Titans. Ggs ❤

  11. I’m a Seahawks fan and I agree with you. The Titans didn’t look like the terrible team everyone has made them out to be and we were all talking about how good Cam looks. All I’ve heard from Titans fans is how bad he is.

He needs help! Oline, receivers as you’ve mentioned. But Start with a coach that is proven. This fan base could benefit a lot from putting the pressure on “Mrs Amy” to pay up for a winning, proven Head Coach.

The Adams family has always tried to go cheap here from my recollection. And you can’t get a good coach if you’re only paying a kickers salary.

Trading some picks and possibly a player for Justin Jefferson (who is not happy right now) may also be a big swing with huge benefits that they could pull off.

Anyways, that’s a Seahawks fan’s 2 cents. Good game and good luck to you all! Thanks for reading.

  12. Titans played hard.Ward looked good. I had a gut feeling this would be a tougher game than the spread predicted. All do respect to the Titans from the PNW.

  13. Honestly, I don't really trust this organization as presently constructed to turn things around, I do believe all top management and all coaching staff all needs to be fired, i wish Amy would fire herself but that ain't happening.

  14. Even though we targeted Xavier Restrepo he looked good and his last catch he showed some fight to get to the end zone so I say we start him more
