GREAT NEWS Keeps Rolling In For The Miami Heat!

[Music] The great news keeps on rolling in for the Miami Heat. The Heat got another win today going into Philadelphia in beating the 76ers. That is now four straight wins for the Heat improving the record to 11-6 on the year. And the performances that you saw today from Kel Wear, from Norman Powell, Bameabio alongside some other injury news just tells the story that early this season through the first 20 games, the Heat are clicking on all cylinders. And even through all of these injuries, they are still playing at a very high level. Let’s talk about today’s game first and then we’ll move on to the injury news. I am Nick Rolloff, by the way. But you look at some of the top performers in this game in Philadelphia where Miami got a win 127 to 117. Norman Powell continues to be a revelation for the Heat. The fact that Miami was able to get Norman Powell in the off season in a three-team trade that only costed Miami, Kyle Anderson, and Kevin Love I is straight up ludicrous. No joke, Norman Powell is going to be an all-star this season if he continues this play. He’s currently averaging 25 points a game while shooting nearly 50% from the field and above 40% from beyond the arc. Powell has been sensational. Had 19 points in the first half. Anytime Miami needs a bucket, Norman Powell is there. Bam Abio continues to dominate in his return third game back. And guess what? He’s just continuing to play elite basketball. 18 points, 13 boards. How about the other big man in that duo between him and Khal Wear? We wear was phenomenal again today, man. And I have been very hard on KL Wear. I know that. But it’s because I consistently say he is capable of doing what he did today and over the past week. Every single game, it’s all about effort and attention to detail for KL Wear. Well, guess what, folks? He’s starting to put it all together. And we’re going to dive into his performance more in depth here in a second. But you also got an unbelievable good performance from Himemehawk as junior off the bench. He had seven assists. Did have four turnovers. Needs to clean up the turnovers. He’s been doing a lot of turnovers lately. He’s got to be better on that end, but he had another 20-point performance off the bench. Only missed two shots. Like Hawkeye has been the sixth man of the year. And then DaVon Mitchell nearly had a triple double, 12 assists, one turnover. DaVon has been absolutely elite in terms of his ability to clamp up opposing guards as well as distribute for Miami. It’s been a joy to watch him. It’s been a joy to watch everybody on this Heat team play over the past well really since the season began on October 22nd. Are you fired up about the win? I certainly am. If you are, hit that thumbs up icon. Like I mentioned, Heat four straight 11 and six. I’m fired up. Let’s get 300 likes on today’s show to show the excitement level for the Miami Heat. But after this game, there’s obviously games happening Sunday night. But as I’m filming this on Sunday afternoon, the Miami now have the third best record in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons are the number one team. The Raptors are second at 10 and five, but Miami is right there at 11 and6. Like they’ve been phenomenal. And in this four-game winning streak for the Miami Heat, all four teams they’ve played are above 500. Does that end up being the case this season? I don’t know. But you beat the Knicks on Monday, that’s an above 500 team and a contending team in the East. You beat the Warriors on Wednesday. I don’t think that team is as good as people thought they were going to be, but that’s still a winning basketball team. You beat the Bulls on Friday in a blowout. That’s a above 500 team. And then you beat the Sixers, who many people thought were going to be better than you this season. I get it. No Embiid, no VJO, but Miami, no Andrew Wiggins, no Yoic, no Tyler Herro. So I don’t want to hear any injury excuse. T basketball team is playing elite level ball. And speaking of elite level ball, I do want to go more in depth on the props that need to be shown to KL wear. He in my opinion has absolutely turned the corner. I don’t think there’s any debate at this point. We were always wondering, hey, if he does this, if he does this, he’s capable of doing that. If if if if. Well, now he’s doing it. He is doing it every night. this past week, he put forth the effort necessary to impact winning at the highest level, but also dominate the defense and glass. Like over this last week, ever since that Friday night game against the Knicks, where he has got a lot of heat from me and Udonis Helam and others about not being good enough on the boards. If you include that game and the four games after, he’s averaging 15 points, 14 boards, 1.6 six blocks while shooting 55% from the field and 44% from beyond the arc. It has been truly sensational to watch him blossom over the past week and you hope that he plays this hard every single night because the effort he has displayed has been tremendous. It has. It’s been awesome to watch. And if he just continues to do this, well, you are going to have a player that is on the verge of being an all-star. Will it happen this year? Probably not. But if he does this for the rest of this year, does it his third year, his fourth year, his freaking fifth year, like now we’re talking about a player that absolutely could be looked at as a top five center in the NBA. Him and Bam have been absolutely elite together. And the part that I like, I’m talking about the effort. I talk about the rebounding. KL Wear is averaging 14 rebounds in the last five games. In those five games, 4.8 of them have been on the offensive glass. the amount of second chance opportunities he has created for himself, created for his teammates and second possessions by drawing fouls because he’s so imposing inside on the glass that the opposing player has to grab him or push him and it gets whistled and then he get a free shot or at the free throw line or is ultimately taking the ball on the baseline. Like this is the type of stuff that you want to see from KL Wear and it’s been absolutely awesome to see. I’m so fired up for him to be playing elite basketball at this stage in his career and I just hope that it continues here as we continue throughout the year. But I want to know, scale it for me. Rate your excitement for KL Wear down in the comments section. How excited are you that he is starting to put it all together and really dominate. Let me know your thoughts down in the comments. And before we move on, let’s tell you about the sponsor on today’s show, which is Prize Pix. The season continues to roll on here. And if you want to get in on the action, prize pick is the best way to do that. Whether it’s football, basketball, hockey, it don’t matter. You can make your picks and cash in by just going more or less on at least two player stats. And if you get your picks right, you could cash in. You now can do stacks on prize picks, meaning you can pick the same player up to three times in the same lineup. Want to go more than on club wear fantasy score, points, three-pointers. Well, now you can all in one lineup only on prize picks. No entry for Heat basketball today for me, but I did have one in football and I came so close to cashing in. Drake May and Caleb Williams did their part, but Rasheed Rice did not get in the end zone. Quite a bummer for me, but you can make picks like this and ones in basketball. When you download the prize picks app today and use code CLNS, you can get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That’s code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. Prize picks. It’s good to be right. As we continue to talk about the good news for Miami, I do want to highlight Bam at a bio and his return to this Heat team because I do not think it is a coincidence that the defense in rebounding has improved in the three games since Bam returned. Bam came back on Wednesday against the Warriors. They got outrebounded that game by 10. But then in their game on Friday against the Bulls, they outrebounded them by 14. The game today against the Sixers, outrebounded them by eight plus. I forget the exact number off the top of the head, but let’s go take a look. They outrebounded the Sixers today, 5846. So by 12, they had 18 offensive rebounds to the Sixers 14. Like they just have been dominating. And maybe it’s because they have two big men that can play together at times and Bam and KL Wear who have looked really solid in tandem since Friday night, which they started because Wiggins has been out since that game against the Warriors on Wednesday. That was when he left with an injury. Uh, but they’ve been great defensively. They’ve been great on the glass. And it’s just amazing. It’s like, oh, you’re actually a good defensive team when you don’t give your opponent 20 offensive rebounds. It’s just like it’s so obvious and it’s so good to see those guys working well together and it’s hope to see them continue to work together well for the rest of the season. All right, let’s get over to the injury news because Tyler Hero could be returning tomorrow, folks. Miami on a second night of a back-to-back at home against the um Dallas Mavericks. They actually have four straight home games. We’ll get to the schedule here in a second, but Anthony Jen, we all said last week the idea was for hero to return on Monday night at home against the Dallas Mavericks on the second night of a back-to-back. Well, if you see here before the Heat Sixers game on Sunday, that is still the plan. And I don’t know where Hero fits in. Do they start him? Probably. And who goes to the the bench? I bet it’s Pel Larson and I bet they go with a starting lineup of DaVon because he’s just has been so good defensively and facilitating. You’re obviously not benching Powell and you probably put in Hero. So you’re going to have a three-g guard lineup in there and maybe you combat that with wear and bam. When Wiggins returns, he’s probably going to start again and maybe just move where back to the bench. Uh but either way, Eric Spolzer is going to have to make some tough decisions. But it seems like Tyler Herro is going to return for the Miami Heat either Monday or Wednesday against the Bucks. But hopefully it is Monday against the Mavericks and you really have a great opportunity ahead of you to continue to stack some wins. I mentioned you’re 11 and six, third best record in the East. But if you’re able to take advantage in the next five games of playing a Mavericks team twice who is a bottom seven team in the NBA right now, you play a Bucks team on Wednesday without Giannis Antinmpo out with a groin strain. And you play the Clippers at home, a team that you already beat on the road and a team that has really struggled. Obviously the Pistons are going to be tough. That’s the best team in East so far this season, but you get them at home couple days after Thanksgiving. So to me, is there a chance Miami goes 5-0? That’s probably really unlikely in this fivegame stretch. But 4- one, yeah, you should beat the Mavericks twice. You should easily beat the Bucks. And if you split the Pistons and Clippers, well then guess what? You went 4- one in the stretch and you’d be sitting in your first 22 games with a 15-7 record. This is something that really is possible for Miami and it’s good to have Tyler return in a game that is against a pretty inferior opponent in the Dallas Mavericks who’s been battling injuries all year long and are going to be short-handed again tomorrow. Like just let’s keep the momentum rolling. I I just hope I don’t think it’s going to be the case because I truly do think he’s a professional. He’s a good player and I don’t think it’s going to happen. But I just hope Tyler Hero returning doesn’t mess with the mojo, doesn’t mess with the camaraderie and chemistry we have because everybody knows their roles right now. Everybody does. And I just hope Tyler returning doesn’t really put a wrench into that. I think Hero will come back and play in the flow of the offense, not be a ball hog, not slow down this Heat offense, which has been so good. I think he will only elevate it. But if he doesn’t, you really got to have a conversation of potentially moving on from him and trading him this year because the Heat have been a really really good basketball team through the first 17 games without him. And if they’re just able to get healthy with Wiggins, Yoic, keep Bam and Wear on the floor. This is a team that will compete in the East without Tyler Hero. But with Tyler Hero, you hope it’s elevated and they’re winning the Eastern Conference. That’ll do it for today’s show. Appreciate everybody for joining us here on today’s show. A lot of fun here. It’s going to be a fun to continue to watch this team as we progress here. So, make sure you join the channel and make sure you subscribe. See you tomorrow with another video. [Music]

  1. Really happy to see Ware giving the effort he’s been giving, it’s paying off and it shows. He’s starting to realize that effort equals results. He’s got the skills to dominate and he’s starting to believe in himself. I was really rooting for this dude.

  2. Nic are you advicating fir a 3 guard small ball lineup? Mitchell foes to the bench. Herro, Powell, Wiggins, Bam and Ware. Thats are starting 5. Our closing lineup is what im interested to see.

  3. Obviously I love Niko, and I think when he puts it all together he’s going to be a special talent in this league….not as special as Ware though.

I don’t even know if I can properly envision how good Ware is going to be when he’s 25, bigger and stronger with a deeper bag.

We don’t need to hunt stars, we got one coming. We are going to become a much better free agent destination now, so we just need to keep doing what we’re doing and let it come to us as we get better and better the longer this group is together.
