Stop the slander – Wasn’t pretty but that man can get down the field for game tying/leading drive in any situation

  1. How do people keep defending his god awful performances. They win despite Trevor not because of him

  2. We don’t have to blindly credit him, it’s not a cult.

This game was only close because he turned the ball over 4 times, he deserves criticism.

  3. i genuinely don’t understand him. how a player can go from looking so competent to a complete vegetable from drive-to-drive is outstanding. i don’t even know what could be done to get more of his good side either

  4. I like Trevor, but he almost cost us a playoff spot today. can’t be doing that shit man. he had some great throws today. but he’s just so careless with the ball.

  5. >>that man can get down the field for game tying/leading drive in any situation

Why do you suppose he’s in those situations in the first place?

  6. He had some clutch plays in very important moments of this game. I will say nothing else, and focus on next week.

  7. I need him and Coen playing Madden this offseason. Trevor so he can learn to read coverages and Liam so he can learn to manage a damn clock.

  8. 3 ints and some fans refuse to criticize this dumbass jesus christ. Just because we are stuck with him doesnt mean we gotta thank him for his dogshit performance this week. Hes the most expensive bridge qb in the league.

  9. You just gotta ride the Trevor-coaster and see where it goes. He will make the 5 best and 5 worst plays in any game. As long as he has the ball, anything is possible for both teams.

  10. He may not be perfect, but we still managed to pull a W today after all the ups and downs.

What I did notice is the text on his wristband, Phil 3:13

“Philippians 3:13 is a verse from the Bible where the Apostle Paul states he does not consider himself to have fully achieved his goals yet, but he focuses on one thing: “forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.” This verse is a metaphor for letting go of past failures and successes to press forward with singular focus toward a future goal.”

I think that was a great description of this game

  11. Honestly Liam is the only person I trust. If he thinks Trevor can break out I’ll believe him.

  12. I watch these games wondering when the fuck up will happen and how many times it will happen.

  13. Man you don’t post shit like this with a man who had 4 picks. lol.

I continue to say this. Some fans are more Trevor fans than Jag fans.

You not even giving credit to any of the other players played their ass off and got the job done.

  14. the last TD drive was excellent, but he doesn’t get a complete pass just for that. let’s see how the rest of the season plays out and then we can have the lawrence convo instead of doing the same song and dance every week.

  15. Every one talking about 4 TOs but not a single mention of getting sacked 5 times. Yal are nuts. Go watch soccer or something.

  16. He was awful. I have absolutely no clue why this place is so against calling out his piss poor play

  17. yeah go look at the eagles today. their qb couldn’t get it done. 24 unanswered points. ours? got it done. don’t care about the numbers in between every qb will have a horrendous turnover game. which one got it done?

  18. We don’t win superbowls with QB performances like that but yes, he never pulls himself out of the game, even if he is the reason we’re in a bad spot. One of his best traits.

  19. Are you just struggling? If life is difficult I understand but there are some real life facts in play here. 16 was responsible for 4 turnovers. The D got the job done despite Trev. He deserves zero credit for this win. The guy is a mid tier QB at best being paid top level money. The sooner we can unload this dead weight the better.

  20. What about that play where Coen took a time out to get the right play called because it was a big third down and then TL changes the play with 10 seconds left on the play clock, barely gets the play off ( should have been a delay of game penalty) and then throws the interception. What about that?

If by getting the job done you mean turning the ball over four times, calling ridiculous audibles needlessly and generally wetting the bed, then yes, he got the job done.

  21. Trevor shrugs off his huge mistakes better than a lot of quarterbacks in the NFL.

He digs a hole for us and then pulls us back out as if that was always the plan.

  22. It’s a great quality of a QB to artificially create a tough situation to climb out of.

  23. Bortles won a shootout against Ben Roethlisberger in the playoffs…Trevors big moment.was when he won a shootout against his own picks vs Chargers..we are winning despite Trev…can we get Todd Bouman off his tractor again.

  24. Normally I’m a defender. But not today. Trevor really did try his best to give it away today.

  25. It was a good team win. Very complimentary. Offense got bailed out by the Defense more than I’d like to see, but here we are at 7-4. More wins than I thought we were going to get. And we don’t look incompetent along the way. Coaching has all to do with it.

  26. I feel like they won in spite of him. I feel this way every week. As someone whose favorite team isn’t the Jags am I right or wrong?

  27. I love Trevor, let me start with that. As I was watching the highlights I got to the point were Im just throwing my hands up.  Frustrating (even though the line left the back gate open for all comers to crash the party)  But at the same time part of me was like “OK Hes thrown his pics and where in a bad spot….its Trevor Time!”  And thats exactly what happened 😮  Its almost like hes TOO clutch and has to have these bad plays just for his Xfactor to kick in.  So crazy. But I will say at least hes getting it done when it counts. Thats the diff, thats the change from the Trev of old.  I will keep on hoping we retire the “Cardic Cats” moniker but a W is W and shout to the Jags for finding a way to get it done in the end in a game 100% would have lost in prior years
