I don’t see why NY would want to do this on their end… and if not for KAT who else would they include/send over to make salaries work?

  1. KAT doesn’t help us at all. Not short term, not long term. And the Knicks don’t have any picks or young players either so I just don’t see it

  2. It claims knicks fans want this trade lol, I want to meet these Knicks fans. I would do the trade because idk wtf AD is worth and KAT is a good player.

  3. Lots of noise from Knicks fans on X and I will say… majority of them seem to want AD for KAT.

KAT has flaws but he’s available to actually play games, can shoot and he rebounds well. Three things this team desperately needs.

Beggars can’t be choosers with AD. I’d take KAT in a heartbeat.

  4. Reminder KAT called himself the greatest shooting big man of all time – not really any more interested in him being here than AD

  5. Knicks need one final hailmary to try and get hot and go on a run before a slow rebuild yet again? None of it matters though. OKC

  6. This is a good ass trade. Availability alone KAT clears AD, but with the amount of frontcourt depth we have Mavs are the best positioned team in the NBA to start a weak defender at the 5. He’d also be the best offensive player on this team by a VAST margin.

  7. Its interesting mavericks fans are rooted in the reality knicks shouldn’t be taking ad
