She’s trying to convince me to go back to see it with her. this like But you’re not a musical guy. But I love the first Wicked. I’m not a musical guy. A lot of songs. A lot of songs. I’m a musical guy. I I enjoy musical. So, I was with it. Uh if the first one was like First one was like maybe a nine for me. So, maybe this one’s like an eight. Okay. Hard to beat the Defying Gravity at the end of the first one. That’s like It’s just such a good moment. But there are some really good moments. And if you don’t know how Wicked ends, then it’s like it wraps it up and you’re like, “Oh my gosh.” So, okay. So, I need to go see it then. That part is cool. Yeah. Just you might as well see just to wrap it up. Today, today’s episode we’re going to get into some trade ideas. Klay Thompson cuz got a couple kids. You didn’t do that. Uh Klay Thompson trades. We’ll talk about Daniel Gaffford and maybe some trades that uh the Mavs could do for him. But let’s start here because Anthony Davis is still out for the Mavericks. He’s traveling with the the Mavs going to the Mavs game against the Heat coming up on Monday if you listen to this. And so I think the next big move the Mavericks make though is the is an Anthony Davis trade is he just he doesn’t fit with the Mavs like new timeline with with the C with Cooper flag. The Mavs could move on from him and get assets. The Mavs have this time crunch with him and his contract. They have this salary cap crunch because they’re going to be in the second apron if they keep him and everybody else going into next season. And there’s just a bunch of other things that we’ve talked about over the last couple of shows. It’s like, all right, this is a reason to these are reasons all to trade Anthony Davis. And reportedly, according to Kendrick Perkins, yes, of all of all sources, Kendrick Perkins, the Pistons are reportedly interested in Anthony Davis. Now, people were talking about the Pistons before Kendrick Perkins said this. We had talked about them as a potential candidate because they’re a team that right now is number one in the East. They’re 14-2. They’ve got Kade Cunningham ascending to this all all NBA level type player. The East is wide open. The Cavs don’t look like they’re as good as they were last year. The uh Celtics obviously have completely fallen off. The Knicks don’t look like they as good as they were last year. Now, maybe some of that will will work itself out and maybe some of the injuries will clear up and maybe those teams will get better, but it’s not like those teams are juggernauts either. And so, they could come out of the East this year, the Pistons could. And so if they do if they want to do that, they could get Anthony Davis and take that full step forward and go all in on something like this. And you got a couple you got a couple ideas for the for the Pistons right now that the Map should should be listening to. I love what the Pistons are doing this year. I can’t watch them enough whenever they’re uh whenever they’re playing. I’m like, “All right, um who are they playing tonight?” I feel like I’m watching the Pistons just as much as the Mavs right now. They’re just so much fun. K’s fun. And yeah, when Perkins said that, take Perkins’s name out of it. Someone somebody on ESPN went on TV and said said that the Pistons are interested and and a former player said that former player for former champion. Did Did anyone Oh, the Celtics. Yeah. Yeah. I think. So, it’s more of just like, hey, let’s have some fun with it. And the Pistons, when you look at a team like teams for Anthony Davis, um the Pistons like fit the bill of it. Typically, it is a team that is playing really well, a team that maybe doesn’t get big-time free agents, wouldn’t get a big name like an Anthony Davis um previously, and they want to try to kind of push the chips, not all of their chips, but the ch the tradable type of chips. Like, sorry guys, if the P Pistons traded for Anthony Davis, you’re not getting a Sar Thompson. All right, I’ve seen some people try to throw that out there. Well, dude, if we can get a SAR, I mean, I would be like the rum the rumor about the Larry Markin and stuff. I want to talk about this at some point. The Larry Markin value compared to the Anthony Davis value because that seems to be really weird. But the the rumor is that the Jazz would demand a Sar Thompson if Larry Markin was available in a trade for them. You’re like, okay. I mean, is it weird to say I think Markin has more value than AD? No. No, but not like the astronomical you have to trade for him like he’s Kevin Durant type value that Anthony Davis has is getting like like peanuts. Like that is the one that’s the thing that don’t doesn’t make sense with that. Okay. Okay. But back to the Pistons. Yeah. So for the Pistons, I think there’s a there’s a very valid question that people’s probably already saying in the comments like why would they trade for him? They’re first in the East. They’re playing well. They just got Ivy back. Very valid point. We’re just gonna have fun with it. If like if they did look at it and say, “Dude, we got Cade, their front office, including Dennis Lindsay is is sitting there and they’re like, “Hey, we’ve been playing well. One of the bigger trade pick or trade assets that we could throw in a trade like that.” And Jaden Ivy hasn’t even played this season much at all. He just came back the other day and we’re the top of the, you know, top of the East. And we think we could like make a trade for an Anthony Davis, an Anthony Davis and pair him with Cade and keep Duran and Thompson and you know some shooting in Robinson and I think there’s a way they keep Holland and you know some of these guys in there to where it’s like all right are we overthinking it? So, if they do call up Dallas, I think I’ve been saying this whole time for Anthony Davis trades for Dallas that it’s three different lanes that if you could get two out of it, two of three of these at least, this is what you got to do. Either a high either a draft pick, a young player, and cap space. It’s those three things. If you can get all three of those, I think that’s home run. Well, yes. I guess depending on varying degrees agrees of home run could be a single single shot could I think it depends on the young player and the draft pick and stuff grand slam but yeah if Detroit is like all right the expiring of Tobias Harris has to be in there at $26 million that’s more of I mean he’s a vet you could try to flip him for something later on um it’s more of hey that that money is going to come off your books then I would if I’m Dallas I say I want Jaden Ivy like I want I know that you have an extension conversation that is coming up in the very near future. He’s restricted going into next year. Yeah. So, you get him. He’s a guard. He’s a initiator on offense. He’s coming off a big injury, but then you you can like try him out and it’s like, let’s see how this thing is is going to work. Um and see if we want to pay him and all that. I would love to get Ron Holland in the deal. I’m a big Ron Holland guy, but let’s just say he’s not in it. Let’s say it’s Ivy, Tobias Harris. Um and then you need the the contract of Caris Levert in there. And then I’d say one first round pick and you’re like, “All right, why would why would Detroit do that?” And it’s like, I mean, AD gets still still play the four next to Duran. Um, he’s probably not the shooter that Tobias is, but it’s Anthony Davis and Jaylen Durren in the front court with Kate Cunningham, a SAR on the wings. And uh, you’re struggling with shooting. I think they need to personally I think Pistons need to go the shooting route and try to get a like a Markin or a Clay Klay Thompson. Um so just some more shooting on the roster. But for Dallas, it’s like all right, you clear up some cap space with the Tobias expiring. You get a first round draft pick. You get the flyer on the young player and Jaden Ivy. Um Caris Levert is kind of just has to be in there for the money part. And you know, are you throwing a parade in Victory Park for that? No. But it kind of it kind of fits your your timeline a little bit more if you’re shifting more towards the young one. Yeah. And clears up the money for next year because that’s one of the big squeezes the Mavs are are dealing with right now is that they would be a second apron team and and a second apron team that’s not going to be good this year and that is that is not a place that you want to be going into next season. The Anthony Davis fit with them doesn’t make a ton of sense to me on their point of view. But I could see them just go where they keep Isaiah Stewart in that that also they go they go all in and they say all right well let’s double down on being big and being uh like good on the boards and being like a lethal defensive team and the Duran Anthony Davis pairing works the Duran Isaiah Stewart pairing works and the Isaiah Stewart Anthony Davis pairing would work right you’d get you get all of those and so healthy AD with Cade would be a lot of fun. I I just if I’m the Pistons, I’m probably not doing it. Um but yeah, I mean they’re already a really good rebounding team. Um some of the things that you would um they protect the paint like Duran plays really well as as a five, but um I think that’s the that’s the case of could you just say like, hey, are we overthinking it a little bit? My I never brought up Detroit before as one of my teams because of two things. one, I didn’t love the trade package in return. Uh I do think there’s a world next to Detroit says, “Hey, no, we want we’re not going to trade Jaden Ivy in this deal.” Like, we think he’s a a valuable piece next to even though I’m like, “How’s he fit with Assar and Cade?” But anyway, uh and then the other part is that Clutch is playing in this because there’s extension talks that’s going to be coming for Anthony Davis. I think Clutch is going to have to We know the relationship with Rich Paul and Patrick Dumont. I think that if they win, they trade Anthony Davis that they’re gonna work with Rich Paul in finding that next home. And I’m like, I just don’t know if he’s gonna like try to like pick Detroit in that. The only counter to that is if you’re looking at it from Rich Paul’s angle of saying the best thing for Anthony Davis’s career is to have a long playoff run and pairing him with a Cade Cunningham in the Eastern Conference this coming season would be like kind of nasty if it if it’s if he’s like fully healthy. And Detroit is not that far from Chicago. Maybe that’s a Yeah, true. Maybe the distance to home. Maybe that plays it plays into effect there. It’s an interesting one because you could you could you could talk yourself into if you’re the Pistons going all in on Anthony Davis. And I think that’s a package if if it is Ivy, you get the young interesting player, you get some calf relief and you get potentially a first round pick. And so you hit the three boxes I think that that you’d need to hit as the Mavericks with this Anthony Davis trade. Coming up, Klay Thompson. Could he be a potential for the Detroit Pistons? What other Klay Thompson trades can we come up with? We’ll talk about that and more coming up. Today’s episode of Lockown Apps brought to you by Gusto. Listening every day. If you listen every day, you’re part of the raccoon squad. Appreciate you for checking out the show. We’ve been talking about Anthony Davis trade to the Pistons. Think that that one makes a lot of sense and that the Pistons could talk themselves into it. Klay Thompson is one we talked about yesterday after the Mavs game, I guess, against against the Grizzlies. Yeah. And Klay Thompson is going down going down swinging for sure with with the Mavericks. But I think that he is a candidate to be one that the Mavs go, all right, let’s try and find you a home. We’ll try and find you a place where you can actually go win. And I think what are some places you think Klay Thompson could get traded to? Well, I I want to say this. The the jaw comments came after we recorded. Yes. And those were just incredible from Clay. I mean, Clay gave zero blanks um when sharing his thoughts on Jaw Jaw Morant. Uh and now, you know, that dates back, you know, some years and stuff of Grizzlies talking smack to the Warriors and everything, but Jaw really hasn’t accomplished hardly anything um since then. And he’s fine in the West, though. Yeah, he’s fi fine in the west. I just love how Clay kind of hit him with the hey, I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed. He kind of like swerved into the, you know, we just it’s kind of just wasted talent right there. We just we’re kind of just want you see you hit that potential and that’s what’s kind of a bummer. I’m like, all right, we’re all hoping the best for you, bud. That’s what it felt like. God bless just bless your heart. Um, so anyway, I just want to say that stuff was really funny and the irony of John Morant calling someone a bum. Um, if Klay Thompson if they, which we assume that they’re probably going to trade him and some of you might be like, “Hey, why are y’all talking about trades and Clay, this is just the direction that we we feel like Dallas going to be going on over the next, you know, month is entertaining AD trades and Klay Thompson and possibly Gaffford. Anybody who ever writes anything about the Mavericks and potential trades for whether it’s Stein or whoever says that Gaffford probably has the most trade value right now uh if they decide to shop him. But you look at a guy like Clay and most tradable. I think Stein is Stein’s reported he’s the most tradable. Most tradable. Most tradable. Yeah. Sorry. Um, but you look at a guy like Clay and it’s like I still maintain after last night that you see a game like that, you see someone who’s shooting that some contender out there that’s looking at their team and they’re saying either they’re not generating a lot of three-point attempts, their three-point percentage is just horrible. So, that’s what I did. I went and looked at some of these teams that I think are contenders that really need like an uptick in shooting. Uh, Detroit’s like one of those. Uh, but the Lakers are one of those. Lakers are 11 and4 right now by the way. Lakers tried to go get Klay Thompson as well when he was a free agent like the Mavs did. Yeah. So like you probably watch more Lakers games than I do right now. But and this is probably too because there’s a lot of like Luca stands like hate watch. So they’re probably going to yell at me for this trade. But like is is Vanderbelt and Dalton connect like too much for Clay? No. I think that they are they have barely any value right now. I think I think the Mavs are getting back two non-rotation players if they get Vanderbilt and Connect. I just think that that’s like a like if you’re you know Lakers obviously you add Clay and the shooting and stuff to your rotation for Dallas. You get a flyer on connect. I mean I like I like Vanderbelt. He’s a little bit older than what u people might think he is, but I I’ve always loved his defense and versatility on defense. So I don’t know. That’s like a like a clay trade of I could see them splitting his contract into two players. I could see them. Um, yeah. Do they try to Clay has another year after this. Do they try to find somebody with like similar value, but it’s just like on one like an like a expiring deal and you get off that last year. Um, like him for like Caris Levert, they’re basically kind of really similar contracts. I just So, the Lakers one connect is also older than than you think too. He’s gonna be 25 in in April, which is weird where you’re like, “Yeah, he’s doesn’t seem he’s not as young as like you think he is.” Um, but yeah, that that one would would be interesting for the Mavericks because you do split it into into two contracts and connect only has one year left and then a team option. Vanderbelt has one year left and then a player option. But my guess is that he would pick that up because I don’t know if he’s getting more than that later. So, would you do that? Am I getting any am I getting any kind of draft anything? I mean, I would love so, but I I don’t think that they’re gonna get even like seconds like I I that that would make me listen to it more because Okay. Well, let me let me uh change it up a little bit on the Lakers front and say Klay Thompson and Gaffford for Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent, Maxi in a first. Bring Maxi. Bring Maxi back. Uh they have their 2031 first that should have been in the Luca trade. Yes. So then everybody could really do the Luca Clay Gaffford for two first AD and Marke Morris. Yeah. Max Christy Vanderbilt Vince. No one ever remembers that Marie Morris and Maxi were both in that Luca trade. Yeah. Maxi actually had like a little moment tonight. He had a moment in the playoffs because JJ Re played him in that game five for the first time. That was a wild poor guy. I don’t know. What’s it? You’re getting a first for that. But but Maxi, no. Yeah, I’m not doing it either. Um, all right. Let’s move on. The Magic needs some shooting, too. Feels like I mean, you’ve said this for like 10 years with the Magic. Would you make the swap Jonathan Isaac for Klay Thompson straight up? to make your your jersey dream come true. I just want the jersey. But I put the Isaac and the Deon Harris jersey right next to each other behind him. But but honestly though, like would you make that swap if you’re Dallas Isaac for Klay Thompson? Clay. I might take that swing if on the M. The thing is it’s another power forward. I know that adding another another guy that can play three and four and can defend like Okay. And and you know how old Jonathan Isaac is? 27. 28. 28. Okay. Wow. And then Yeah, Jonathan Isaac’s contract’s like super weird, too, because then there’s like non-g guaranteed stuff uh starting I think next year. Yeah, it’s it’s 15 million this year. 14.5 14.5 and then 15. And it they’re all varying degrees of guaranteed. So it’s like 8 million next year. Uh and then I think it’s zero guaranteed after that. Yeah. The last two years is zero guaranteed. So anyway, so that’s that’s less of a risk. So you are potentially getting off of that Clay deal a year earlier if you do the Yeah. And you take the swing on it if he stays healthy. If you do trade AD, then it’s like, all right, well, I don’t know. I think there’s worse stuff you could do with the contract. U San Antonio doesn’t swap Kell Johnson for him, right? Probably not. Okay. I was thinking about that because I mean anytime you have a team like San Antonio which it’s not like they’re like super struggling three-pointers but yeah I think they’re around similar contracts. Do you take the which Kell Johnson’s probably like 28? He’s 26. He they could use a another like like a championship vet though. they could maybe talk themselves into like, hey, we just need like a guy, we got all these young wings and and we got Darren Fox who hasn’t really been in the playoffs that much. Like he’s our our vet. I mean, they have they have Harrison Barnes obviously, so there’s a connection with Barnes and Yeah. Barnes is like, make it happen. Like Luke Cornett has maybe the most playoff experience outside of Harrison Barnes team, right? Like wow. Kelly Lenn. Um, yeah. I Kell Johnson would be a fly. Think about I put Raptors, question mark. They need three-point shooting. I just don’t know what to do with that team. They’re such a weird team. I don’t understand why. Whoa. I don’t understand with Grady. Sorry. Why they’re winning. Um, but I guess they’re good. They had five players in the locked on top 100 and I just kept like freaking out about that over the summer because it was the weirdest thing. I was like, how? There’s only like three teams with five and one of them was the Raptors. I was like eventually this talent has got to work out in some way and like Ingram didn’t play last year. It’s I mean we’re just their talent has just all come together and it’s kind of that’s how here real quick one more thing before the break. Here’s the here’s the trade that I think would happen. They’re around similar age is Clay for Bogdan Bogdanovich. And it’s just a simple you get Clay to LA, you do him right, he gets to go play in LA. you bring back Bogdan, he has a team option for next year. So, you’re kind of just swapping out the contracts for like a just one year less of a contract. You kind of do right by Clay. Um Bogdan has a little bit more of playmaking that you can run some stuff through. But is it right by Clay? If it’s a team that’s almost as bad as the Mavericks, he gets to go to LA. All right. It’s true. I mean, if location is the only thing that matters to him, then then yeah, but he might be the youngest player on the Clippers, so They’re five and 12. The Mavs are five and 13. It is That is just a weird whole scenario. Now, I guess they’re getting Kawhi Leonard back soon. But what’s their excuse? I don’t know. They had aspirations of like being a really good team and they just have not hit them like you know. Well, when you miss the forest for the trees right in front of you, then they just like can’t cash the checks that they that they wrote, you know, like they invested so much in their team, but just hasn’t appreciated out. Yep. Those will never get old until the the whole thing gets finalized. Coming up, Daniel Gaffford. Mark Stein has reported that he’s the most tradable player on the Maverick. So, where could he go? We’ll talk about some possibilities coming up next. Today’s episode of Lock Time Apps brought to you by FanDuel. FanDuel sports book. Daniel Gaffford, one of the most tradable players on the Mavericks according Mark Stein and others. He signed this extension over the off seasonason and the extension was just perfect so that he could still be traded. PJ Washington’s was so that he can’t be traded this season and but Daniel Gafffords could be that was something that raised my ears over the offseason because I thought all right well if the Mavs need to make some kind of move Daniel Gaffford could be the move. I thought it would be a move to to shuffle win now pieces. I do not think that that is the case anymore for the Mavs. So give me some Daniel Gaffford trades. Can I ask you this question real quick? If they trade Anthony Davis, do they have to trade Gaffford? No. Because I think I’m I think I’m almost in that camp of like if you trade AD, just keep Gaffford. I think I’m I think I’m with you on that because the one of the one of the things the Mavs need to consider in all this is you cannot be bad next year. You you can be bad this year. You could bottom out this year, sure, but next year your pick is top two protected to the Hornets. And so you can’t bottom out both. So this is not like a fire sale where you sell everybody. you’re like, “All right, there goes AD and and and Clay and Daniel Gaffford and let’s let’s send Kyrie out, too.” Like, you know, they’re not doing all that. They can’t do all that. And so, yeah, I would just the the piece that really doesn’t fit. I know we tried to like make make the case, all right, the Mavs are AD’s team like that. Like like Nico Harrison said that this team is built around AD. He did not fit. He’s the polar bear in Arlington. You know, he’s the one that does not fit with the with the rest of this team as far as like they have two centers, they have fours. like the team looks like it makes a little more sense. They still don’t have enough guards as they’re constructed, but the front court makes a lot of sense and is looking good right now. Offense looks looks different out there. Cooper looks different out there right now. Yeah. When when they’re oriented the right the right way as far as positions and all that. Yeah. So, let let’s say they do entertain Gaffford trades and they’re like, “Hey, he’s the most tradable player. Teams want him.” Um I’m just going to throw at you some stuff. Pacers are probably looking for their next center. Um, considering that they tra traded Miles Turner, would you do Gaffford for Toppin? Straight up. Obi Toppin. Man, remember when Obie Toppin was the only thing the Maps needed and they just need a backup power forward and I do remember that. That was supposed to be the thing. We were like, Max, can they do Max for Obie? Another four though. Another four. He doesn’t can’t really play five and he’s a backup and he’s 27. I don’t know. I don’t know what that’s doing for me. Okay. Does that clear? It doesn’t really clear money. It’s cra It’s crazy. I thought he was younger, but he’s the same age as Gaffford. Yeah. So, it clears like one I think it clears one year because Gaffford’s four years. Could they try to do something in that to get TJ McConnell with Tophin? I I’m listening. How old is TJ McConnell? I don’t care. He can dribble. He can dribble. He can dribble. He’d be helpful right now. He is 33 years old. Okay. So, uh, a player or a team that struggles in rebounding right now is the Atlanta Hawks. Kaka, I know Aong Woo is younger. But would you do him straight up? A Congo. Congo is 25. Not that much younger. He’s smaller. Two years younger. Smaller. Yeah, he is like 68, 69. If I’m the Hawks and I’m trying to get better at rebounding, I trading for Daniel Gaver. I Okay, valid point. I’m just throwing that up there. But still, okay. I would if I was I was Ms. I think he just get younger and dress. I mean, him running pick and roll with Trey whenever Trey comes back, I think it would be would be nice. Um gosh, this one’s gross, but it’s like I just threw it in there. Just see what you’d say. Gaffford and Clay for Jordan Pool. What are we doing to Gaff? They’re sending them to the to New Orleans. Um, first first of all, I was like, why are we sending them send Gaffford back to the Wizards? And then I was like, hold on. I just love how you were like, what are we doing to Gaffford? Sending him to New Orleans. And Clay, what are we doing to Clay to send him to We wanted to do right by Clay, not send him to New Orleans. Clay’s like, have you been to the Smoothie King Center? I have been to the Smoothie King Center recently. Not the body of water I was talking about. Not a great It’s not a great arena. They do have smoothies everywhere, which is nice. But um for the Mavs talent-wise, like Jordan Pool is somebody that would fill a need of sorts, but I I don’t want I don’t want to be in the Jordan Pool business. I don’t think I do either. That’s a no. Uh this one’s really interesting to me, but there’s it’s also the position stuff, too. Gaffer Gaffford and Naji to Golden State for Kaminga. Oh, and you just they just that’s that’s the Warriors coming deal. Yeah, they could use a big for sure. They’re like gaffford and it’s like Al Horford and and Draymond playing five and then Quinton Post goes comes in and I think Naji would be great for them off the bench. And wait, oh, you’re doing Naji instead of Clay in this one for reasons. Well, money is the main thing in this. Yeah. Um, that’s interesting. Naji does a lot of things they lot Naji does a lot of things they want Kaminga to do you know like the they need they need like a north south driver what do you think about Kaminga Cooper and PJ together? Kuminga Cooper and PJ together. Kuminga is so interesting. Yeah. I don’t know what I don’t I don’t know what’s I don’t know what to do with him but maybe it’s like change of scenery new coach could help. Maybe like the maybe he needs the Jason kid type coach where it’s like hey I’m in your corner like I’m in your camp cuz Steve Kurt does not seem like he’s in his camp right now. Kids like we’re going to put the ball in your hands. You’re going to play point guard. We want to make you feel uncomfortable. Kuminga age. Oh gosh. I don’t know. This is my only job on the show today all these players. Put this in your notes. Gosh, I honestly don’t know. You could tell me he’s 23 or 27. He’s 23. Oh my gosh. So that one that one counts as like let’s take a shot 23. We’ve been getting updates for five years. What do we do? Get updates when he was in seventh grade. Kaminga and his seventh grade coach at odds right now. Also, he just turned 23 in October. Chris Haynes doing like this is his fifth year in the NBA. Oh my gosh. Chris Haynes is talking to his mom in like eighth grade little league basketball. but giving us updates. My point on that is like whereas some of the other moves are like, “Hey, let’s take a flyer on this young guy and he’s 27, 26.” This one is like an actual young guy that could be part of the like Cooper flag, Max Christie, Derek Lively core going forward. Could he play the two? I honestly think I would do it. I think depends on how well the answer is always yes. They could play it. I think I would do it. I think I would take the swing on You you also he’s restricted or what he’s got he’s got a team option this summer and so you’d have to figure out like that what was it who was the player of the M was it Nerland where the Mavs traded for him and you’re like all right you get this year and you got to figure it out because you’ll just lose him if you don’t figure out what he’s worth to you this season like after the trade. Shout out to Nerland. Dude, Rick was so pissed at me over Nerland. Rick Carmile. Not you can’t you can’t say Rick from the Maz anymore. It could be Rick Weltz. Imagine Rick Welch being mad about Nur. It’s one of the first players I was told not to or stop. Anyway, have you seen this rumor that the Mavs are gonna tear down the Dallas city hall and build the arena there? No, I haven’t seen this. Yes. I I I was I saw this podcast clip and there was this guy that does like real estate development downtown and he was like, “Yeah, so the thing is he he’s like this guy was building a a hotel near the Omni and cuz it’s by the convention center and all that.” And he’s like, “Yeah, the thing is the Mavs are going to build this their arena. They’re going to tear down city hall and they’re going to build an arena there.” And I’m like, “Oh, we just don’t have a city hall anymore or like find a new place.” Um, can I give you one last one real quick? Where are we going to protest if there’s one more thing? I’m going to end it. I’m going to end it on a bang. So, I’m just going to throw it at you. Anthony Davis, Jonathan Isaac to the Hawks. You waited for the last Anthony Davis train. Anthony Davis, Jonathan Isaac to the Hawk. Okay. There’s a three-teamer. Yep. Trey Young to the Magic. Jaylen Suggs and a Congo to the Mavs. So the Mavs have Lively Gaffford and a Kong Woo. Yeah. And Musa. Yes. And Dwight Powell. And Okay. The Musa one was a legit question. The Dwight one was for emphasis. You get Jaylen Suggs back. Suggs is interesting because Sug Trey goes to the Magic. Suggs is young and a Suggs flag lively PJ like uh PJ lineup is nasty defensively. You can say healthy. Yeah, the Hawks swap Trey for AD basically. Yeah, it’s crazy for them. Well, and a Kong Woo, but yeah. Yeah, Magic Swap Hawks do with I don’t know what the Hawks do with Trey. There’s been all these weird Trey rumors that like they want to be done, but they’re they’re playing pretty well without him, right? How old Jaylen sucks? 32. His hairline is 32, but he is 24. Okay. See, I can work with that. Yeah. He’s kind of like a younger Derek White. And he’s dating Haley Vanlith, who played at TCU, so you know. Wow. I didn’t know. Right in the backyard, dude. What about the Wings? Went in the lottery. Let’s go. Wings won the lottery again. Wait. So, okay. So happy. We’re going to keep going for a second. Yep. I thought one more. One more thing. I thought that USC Guju is going to be in this draft. Okay. So, no, J Guju is is out or she No, Ju Guu is one more year. She’s next year. Dang it. Cuz in W, they have to be in a little longer. Okay. So, who are they going to get? There is this girl named Lauren Betts plays for UCLA. We’re not allowed to bet this big. No bets. Multiple. You’d have to do more than one. Like Mookie. She plays for She plays for the UCLA. She’s a great defensive center. She’s 67 feet tall. And then the fascinating one is AZ Fud is like one of the best players in college basketball right now. Oh my gosh, they’re going to do this. And they could draft A who is Paige Becker’s girlfriend. And they they can’t right. No, no, no, no. This happens in the W all the time. Like there are so many couples that are together. Yes. Dana Bonner and and Alyssa Thomas have been together on the Sun for like ever and they’re they’re a couple. But then you can’t trade them. Like what if somebody sucks eventually like trading your girl beginning of the season? You ready for this tea? Beginning of the season, the Mavs or the Wings had the Wings had DJ Carrington. Yeah, I remember her. She’s on Minnesota now and Melissa Smith. Don’t know her. They were a couple. They were excited to be on the same team and then Melissa Smith gets traded to the Aces out of nowhere and de Jane was very upset about it and then she went to Minnesota, right? Yes. And then she got traded afterwards cuz she made a big Dude, that that’s so messy. Yeah, it’s a lot. But it’s fun when they’re on the same team and they’re like they enjoy it. But then when So does Paige step in and say, “Put my foot down. Give me Fud.” Ay Fud was at many. She was at almost every Wings game that I went to this summer and she signed that Paige did. What about positionally? Does she fit? Yeah, she’s like she’s like a insane two like scoring two guard that can play right next to Paige and like Paige is six foot which in the W is like a three and so Pa Paige is like a big guard and so she can I mean she can fit anywhere. Paige played the three for the Wings this year. She played obviously point like she can play all over the place. She’s so versatile. Would it be better if they took the the big girl from UCLA? Well, there’s there’s another one, too. Sorry if that wasn’t the right thing to say. Big girl. I know. Like you you always want to say big man, you’re like, hold on a second. There’s this also this 6’4 center from Spain, Awa Fam. Oh, I’m probably pronouncing it wrong, but she is like a lot of people have her as the number one, and she’s like this versatile like center that can do a lot of things. Obviously from Europe, she can do a lot of things. And so that that’s an interesting play, too. She doesn’t play college basketball. She’s playing in Spain right now. Okay, sweet. Maybe that means Dallas is going to get the same luck like the match. Number one pick city. Bring Darren Peterson on, baby. Let’s go. There you go. That’s some trades. That’s some wings talk, guys. Hang out with us tomorrow. We’ll have a post game after the Heat game and we’ll have more. Check the links in description for different ways to follow the show. Thanks so much for listening to Locks on MS. Peace out. Boom. Bring AC to Dallas. Messing.

Is Washington or Flagg the 4 if Davis leaves?
Chill on the trade AD stuff. Let that black man heal like Kyrie is.
Peace people. How bout them Cowboys though 🤠
Well, we paid Luka Doncic to have AD, I wouldnt take nothing less then a Cade Cunningham
Pickens Lamb Davis combo got her done tonight. Dak is finally #1 in passing yards in Dallas Cowboys history….passing Tony Romo. Shouts out to Dak
The media and haters are still racist.
Rumors Rumors and more Rumors on top of more rumors.
Mark Cinan told yall dumba– he was not trading AD right now. So stop spreading your own personal agenda
I would trade AD AKA always doubtful for a microwave and a 2nd round just to get his contract off our books. He has been injured 3 times since being a Mav and he gets 60 million next year.
Can we talk about what players do for their community too rather than just talk about how good or bad they’ve been? AD is awesome on and off the court.
Be realistic and rip the bandaid. Trade everyone except the rookie and PJ for expiring and picks
no Klay in luka land but gaff maybe
GAFFORD AND KLAY FOR AR AND GABE
I was never a fan of this mumbo jumbo trade talks in the middle of the season. Get healthy and focus on the season. After the season evaluate and make a trade. Trade talks are so depressing.
Send Flagg to the Lakers for Bronny and Kleber
You are a liar.
I've seen so many rumors, the Knicks have a rumor that might involve KAT, the Hawks with Trae, the Kings just because Vivek is still owner. It'll be interesting to see what the package will end up being
I blame locked on mavs when y’all changed the old theme song we kiss jalen b lol and Luka I blame y’all lmao it would be nice to play the old song let it ride!!!!!! @lockedonmavs
Any team that wants AD is a team that doesnt want to win a championship. Might as well trade for a frig cuz that too isn't leaving the house.
Love AD but I think he should be with a team as a bonus, not a main guy. Kind of like what Porzingis was with Boston. Like when KP was out, they were still solid. Then when they became complete, they were unbeatable. That's the only fit I'm seeing for AD with his situation. It's really sad coz he's a really solid player.
@mavericks Give Back DFS to MAVS. Dorian Finney Smith
Trade K.Thompson/D Powell for Norman Powell
i really love u guys 😊
i really miss lock on mavs
thou watching luka 100% in lakers hahah
How about we trade AD + Christie + 2026 1st rounder to Pistons for Cade Cunningham
I can’t believe what they did to this team….
Racist Mavs fans lmao the owner is not gonna trade a top 10 player just because you cry babies can handle adjustments grow up this is a business and a investment in the players and the capital of the team stop cry about Luka he’s in La and never ever coming back it’s sports
Ad ain’t been in Dallas a full year and you idiots talking about trading him like you play or understand basketball shhhhhhhhhh
Yeah that’s why you guys are not on the mavericks staff terrible ideas you two act like you playing 2k just trading role players that nobody wants
I would never trade with the lakers again! Period!
Pls stop with these trade rumors
Why not call the pelicans for murray, and picks….
AD was never allowed to play with Flagg playing forward, not to mention Kryie. He was being rushed to play apparently too.
Why trade Gaff when Lively is never healthy?
Markkanen is under contract until 28-29, actually plays the sport and is 28yo. Yeah, he has more value as of today.
So at the end of the day, this would be Luka Doncic for Jaden Ivey??
Throwing Gafford’s name out as a sweetener after he just signed longterm and took us to the finals is wild. Y’all are better than that
