As great as the first 22 games have been, and as well as the Ducks just handled a difficult stretch of 13 games in 23 days (they went 9-4-0), there's only a four point difference between 1st place and 6th place in the Pacific Division. Anaheim has to keep their foot on the gas and I hope the coaches and veterans are reminding the young players that nothing has been accomplished yet and all they've done is set themselves up for a meaningful next 22 games.

  2. Ya the amount of overtime that’s been happening so far this year has really kept the field bunched together. Like Vegas has gotten a point in over 60% of their losses 😂

  5. There is a lot of parity in the league this year. Only 6 of the 32 teams have a losing record in regulation. After 22 games, that’s pretty wild.

  8. What’s been going on with Seattle this season? Havn’t been watching them much, thought they were a bit boring, a little suprised to see them doing so well.

  10. Seattle is gonna fall off they are getting very fortunate getting loser points on these games. They can’t score goals. Not sustainable.

  12. Thankfully the schedule will ease up on them a bit now with the only team to really worry about is the Kings. They shouldnt get complacent of course but it won’t be a giant effort to start widening that gap.

  13. This picture shows why the current points system is terrible. Ducks are the only team in the pacific with more wins than losses.

  18. Ducks gotta keep winning! They were neck and neck with kraken and knights before the streak. They need to go back on a streak to get some room. Aka what avalanche is doing.
