What’s the story behind the all-green Blackhawks jerseys? I came across a Marian Hossa Reebok Premier in solid green, and while this jersey is heavily faked, I’m 99.99% sure this one is authentic it matches every detail of my other Reebok Premier jerseys.
The thing is, I can’t find any record of the Blackhawks ever wearing this version, and the only St. Patrick’s Day jerseys I can find are the later plaid warm-up ones. I also can’t find any old listings or info on when or where these solid green versions were sold.
Does anyone know when these were produced and how they were originally purchased?

That’s a licensed replica, solid sweater. They never wore them in a game, not sure when they began. I think they may have worn them in warmups and auctioned them off afterwards.
This particular version would’ve had to have been produced sometime in the 2005-2011 window (Reebok switched logos following 2011 to just be the word “Reebok” instead of their vector logo). These were only sold as fashion fan jerseys, they never wore them on ice. In fact, they never wore any St Patrick’s Day jerseys on ice for games, and didn’t do it for pre-game warmups until 2013 (and stopped in 2023 because the league shutdown warmup theme jerseys altogether because of Pride night controversies with players that refused to participate.)
Also, yes, it is widely knocked off but your pics are a legit Reebok Premier.

If you click the dropdown, select Warmups near the bottom, you can read about these. Looks like they were just for that purpose until a ban of theme night warmups for some reason.
Or my quick googling could be completely wrong.
I’m gonna need them to bring these back. Or something similar
Heinous
I have one. Bought it at a game in 2017
