This does not sound good at all. Hopefully this doesn't mean he was told he needs a season ending surgery on a fully torn hamstring, and instead its just something more mild. Fully torn hamstrings are also pretty rare. Hard to gauge and speculate how severe it is, but Denver will likely announce it within 1-2 days. There are still 5 months until the playoffs which is a while to recover for any kind of injury. Lets just hope he can be fully healthy by then.

  1. If he’s out for the season definitely not going to beat OKC if they’re fully healthy. This will be our last best year to win the title

  2. I’m hoping this just means that they’re tired of getting it wrong, and want to be sure about what they’re dealing with.

  3. My guess after it happened last night was 4-6 weeks minimum, if it means he’s fully healthy rest him as long as it takes

  4. Good. Seek out the best possible medical attention and get it fixed by the best doctor in the world. And please come back soon.

  5. AG has seemingly come back too quickly from multiple soft tissue injuries over the past 18 months. I don’t take this as “the first assessment was really bad” more of them wanting to make sure they know exactly if this is a 2-4 week absence or 4-6. Bringing him back too early can derail the season so better be absolutely sure.

  6. Very bad and potentially season derailing. I hope all the seeding doesn’t matter truthers are right

  7. crazy that this is the win now year and the best shot we’ll ever have at getting a 2nd ring. and all of this is basically gone if gordon isn’t back

  8. Let him heal until after the all star break, don’t take any chances. Playoff ready AG is the most important AG.

  9. Everyone’s acting like he’s out for the season. We know nothing and he could be back in a month.

  10. A fan from Serbia – Maybe he could get a treatment with now, already world famous, Marijana Kovacevic. She treats muscle and hamstring injuries with her special method, many world superstars came to her for a treatment and faster recovery – Cristiano Ronaldo, Novak Djokovic, Luka Modric, Vincent Kompany, Inzaghi, Lampard, Robin Van Persie, Alexis Sanchez etc.

  11. I have to say that while it doesn’t sound good, I find it EXTREMELY unlikely that he completely tore his hamstring. I suffered that myself and I couldn’t walk the way he could. No weight on that leg whatsoever, he was walking and limping just very mildly. I just don’t think it is that serious, and Adelman’s quote could be referring to the fact that they don’t want it to be a recurrent issue down the road.

  12. Not good… but it’s better that we found out now. Even if its a season ending injury, this gives the team more time to assess their potential options

  13. I love AG, but I predict that his new contract is going to be a millstone around the franchise’s neck. I foresee some very injury-riddled years for AG ahead, unfortunately.

I think it’s just his play style. And unless he adopts a superhuman Lebron-type regiment, it’s going to hard to be healthy.
