Nov. 18: Postgame Interviews
Cam, tough one to swallow. You guys probably deserve better in this one. Um, yeah. I mean, I thought it was a it was a good game, a good hard-fought game, both teams. Um, there was desperation on both sides and it comes down to a play or two and um, you know, gave ourselves a chance at stealing a couple points on the road. So, I think there’s a lot that, um, that we can build off of. Does it seem like it just comes down to a play or two with you guys here? Yeah, I mean um tonight, yes, I think, um I think if we look back on it, um you know, a couple bounces here and there, um you know, we could be looking at a different outcome, but um at the end of the day, we got to find a way to um start putting some wins in the win column here. So, um no, no matter what it takes or how we have to do it, um you know, it’s a resultsbased game and we have to figure out uh a way to start sacking some wins here. What changed when you guys uh had the shot advantage like 16 to3 over a stretch of the game after you went on the power play? Um I think we were just, you know, we we felt felt like we played a good period the first period. It didn’t show up obviously on the the scoreboard or the shot total, but I think we just um continue to stay with the process and believe in one another. We got a couple power plays in the second period which can uh got a goal and and built some momentum off of that. So I think that um kind of gave us a chance of getting back in the hockey game. Dais want to take us through your goal? Looked like a nice pass from Robert Thomas. Yeah. Well uh I think fouls gave it to Tommer and then like that was a amazing pass. I mean I have almost whole open net. So I mean great pass by Tom and I just try to hit the net and uh happier went in but uh yeah just great play by by Tom there. The team’s play seemed to pick up after that goal. just what what changed do you think in terms of getting some offense going? I mean, I feel like every goal pumps the team up a little bit. So, no. I mean, at the end, I’m I’m really pissed that we lost, but uh I think it was a pretty good game from us. So, we just got to learn from the mistakes and uh get back to it on in in Philly. Yeah, tough one to lose just considering the way you guys played the second half of that game. Yeah, for sure. I mean, it’s uh always tough to lose. So, uh, yeah, not not much else to say. I mean, I I hate losing, but, uh, yeah, like I said, I mean, we’ll have another chance in Philly. Holloway doesn’t get the shut off at one end and then a board battle at the other. Can you take us through the OT sequence there? Um, yeah, I mean, we had a couple of rush chances there that never materialized really hitting the net. Um, Holloway had the last one. Then they went the other way and we doubled up in the corner and we weren’t able to win that battle which were two there one. I forget who there won. I think it was Tiveres. I know it’s a high-end player, but we got to win that battle. You know, we had won a lot of battles during the game and uh that was one that cost us the game. Tough because of the way you played the second half of the game. A lot of urgency. Yeah. You know, I thought our first period, we actually liked our first period. We missed the net with a couple with three opportunities. Um, we thought we were playing to the goal line. Thought our forch check was good, and we thought we were being physical and taking away time and space. The first like 11 minutes of the second period weren’t very good. We weren’t winning puck battles, weren’t strong on our sticks. Um, and they just came at us, you know, and then we got that power play goal and, um, things kind of flipped and then we started playing better. I was going to ask you, what did change with that goal? obviously get a lift, but yeah, I I thought it was coming a little bit before that five on five. I think that’s why we got the power play. Um but you know, in the third period, we just played more direct. Um I like the way we we were won a lot of battles. Big picture, how do you look at it? I mean, so many good things to take away, but you know, tough way to end it. Yeah, it is. I mean, you know, um we did play um with much more intention. Uh we’re much more physical and those things are good, but we got we need to start winning games.

Sit buchnevich.
I'm lost for words anymore? Maybe give otto stennberg a chance, send buch to thunderbirds
Dont see much changing game to game with their just ok performance minus caps and GK games. Imo, Without change to this group thru trade or maybe Neighbors return i dont see any improvement. I know Monty is ultimately responsible but this group even when they look like their competing play with no confidence. Dk where he goes as a coach with this. How do u fix piss poor decisions like losing a 2 on 1 puck battle in OT with Tavares
3 on 1 against the boards for a puck. All other teams use the advantage to take the puck. But they do not have Buchnevich…who decides to kick the puck out to the opposing team for a winning goal. Why is he even out there on the power play. He is slow and looks lost. Terrible decision to extend his contract.
Yes its the “bounces or lack their of”. Take responsibility and say the truth. Your a bad team because of lack of effort and you have no team leaders, just a bunch of overpaid lazy players who dont care.
Fire that second rate radio team. Not meant for tv/video. There's soemthing to be said for objectivity and there's ignorant calls. Stop fluffing the opposing teams. Enough with the cited banter for the opponents, YOU CALL FOR THE BLUES. SHUT UP ABOUT THE OTHER TEAM. "OH WOW HAT TRICK WATCH FOR THE OTHER TEAM" FIRE THOSE CLOWNS.
