Three touchdowns, three interceptions, and a fumbled 'Thick 6' later the Jaguars are 7-4 with an exciting overtime win 🏆

3 picks isn’t exactly what anyone had in mind but I give him props for continuing to push the ball and winning it at the end of regulation/OT
Seemed like they were struggling getting plays in yesterday and it led to some chaos
If we’re signing up for the Josh Allen rollercoaster then I expect the 3-4 TDs every week from him as well.
Cant really defend two of the ints at all, even if they were fantastic defensive plays. That said, I appreciate that he never stopped being aggressive and had a ton of great throws in the game.
Think that’s the biggest issue everyone has with him, especially the doomers. He’s not anywhere near consistent enough. Still think he has what it takes, but there’s obvious need for improvement.
Jags have been 7-4 or better 5 times in history before now (3 of those in the 90s). People forget so fast. Winning in the NFL isn’t easy.
Props to the coaching staff and Trevor for never wavering atleast. Stayed the course, got the W
To be fair, I don’t blame the thick 6 on Trevor or gun-slinging.
One thing I admire about Trevor is his ability to not let his last mistake change his game. Sometimes thats good and sometimes thats bad.
Josh Allen has 6 turnovers in his last 3 games to 7 total TDs and they are 1-2 in that span. 5 of his TDs came against the Buccaneers. Lawrence has 6 turnovers and 6 TDs in his last 3 games and the Jags are 2-1. Both of them played the Texans in that stretch. Granted, I know Josh Allen is a better QB and has earned his long leash.
That being said, this fanbase has got to chill. Did I enjoy Trevor throwing 3 INTs yesterday and losing 1 fumble? Hell no.
Did I enjoy Trevor throwing 3 TDs and the entire offense showing a lot of clutchness and mental toughness? Hell yeah.
A W is a W. Trevor has got to clean up the turnovers, but it’s not like his performance isn’t equatable to Josh’s.
I said weeks ago that Lawrence was a gunslinger trying to play like a game manager. Now Coen is trying to get him to embrace his gunslinger mentality.
I personally think he only improves from here, but even if this is the best he is going forward the jags are still 7-4.
Just ask Jameis Winston
I feel bad for half this fan base. They watch every Sunday hoping the qb fails just so it can support their narrative. If you’re a fan of a historically awful franchise and your qb has lead you on 5 game winning drives with a 7-4 record and you waste your time endlessly complaining about the best qb your franchise has had in 10+ years you’re either a loser with a narrative or a titans fan. Seem like we have a lot of fans with narratives. What we have in this fan base it TLDS. Trevor Lawrence derangement syndrome
T-Law of gunslinging
1 Insane INT, 1 Rushed INT that’s on Trevor, 1 Tipped INT that isn’t on Trevor just unlucky and the Thick 6 which was a bad block by Strange and Trevor was mid throw just was a split second late. Overall i’d say 2/4 turnovers he could have done a better job. We won though and are a few games from being a 10 win team, which would be the first time since 2017 and only 3rd time since 2007.
“Letting it rip” to the tune of 6.5 y/a and 219 yards per game this year lol. These are not gunslinger interceptions, they are staring down guys 12 yards away and linebackers/safeties jumping him. Probably because he has the worst deep ball completion percentage in the league and no one is afraid of him burning them. Current personnel is a factor in that but it wasnt good even when hunter and BTJ were healthy.
Ah yes, “letting it rip” getting picked on 10 yard routes 😂
If the Jags have a winning record I have zero reason to complain or nitpick. I didn’t love Blake Bortles but I sure loved going to the AFC Championship
