IMO we haven’t been the same since his 2019 injury. Complete shift in direction since then, and it’s been exhausting.

When Ben was no longer able to carry our horrible offensive scheme, the team was no longer a Super Bowl contender.

Honestly I feel like the last time we were a REAL Super Bowl contender was 2017. As soon as Bell decided to hold out it firmly closed our window and we’ve been stuck in mediocrity ever since.

I feel like Matt Canada set us back 5 years on offense compared to the league. Then idk why but our defense is stale. Give me Dick LeBeau back.
Why do people keep acting like any of those later Ben teams were any better?
They were fringe playoff teams at best
I’d say it was the decision to run it back after. We went so hard on a “One last run” and the draft didn’t give us anyone crazy.
It was the Shazier hit for me that changed the direction of everything
We didn’t have him in the playoffs and gave up almost 50 to the jags. Haven’t been the same since.
The shift was well before this. This was a symptom, not a pathology.

It shifted when we held onto Ben for 3 years too long and didn’t plan for the future so we didn’t hurt his feelings.
Packers drafting Love pissed Rodgers off, but it was the right move for the future and it worked out for them. We had the chance to draft Lamar AND Hurts but instead drafted Terrell Edmunds and Chase Claypool.
Pouncey cost us that game too smh
Those are the last two guys who gave input to Tomlin….AND HE LISTENED!!!!!
Tbh the shift happened when ownership shifted from Dan to Art. Dan CARED about the team. His son sees it as a financial asset.
It happened long before that
I don’t want to accept that we might have to tank…. but its very obvious that we lack an MVP caliber QB ever since Big Ben left. The Void has never been filled, only slightly mended year after year….
The team died with Dan. Now we just have another nutting
