I’m optimistic but he’s not going up against the Raiders every week
I hope he can hit double digit QBR the next game
I want to see him instead of DG against the 49ers next Sunday, that’s for sure. Have to take it one step at a time though. It would, of course, be awesome if he was the guy, and would save a lot of trouble for the team this offseason. That being said, he’s going to have to flash in almost every game he appears in to dissuade the FO from taking a QB with what is bound to be a high 1st round pick and then continue to improve through next year.

But many of us have seen this song and dance 41 other times since 1999.
Johnny Manziel had a very nice first start against Tennessee once upon a time.
I’m not shitting on Sanders, so do not perceive this as that ….
My point is that we should keep expectations level and not jump the gun.
The Raiders are an atrocious team.
Let’s see how the next few weeks look before building Sanders a statue in Cleveland.
I do agree with the majority in that we should be done starting DG.
Give the rest of the season to Sanders and see how he grows.
It would be very nice if he does in fact turn into something for this team.
Not sure if he’s long term starter material yet but he’s done enough to put Dillon Gabriel away forever. One step at a time
Actually, I’m scared of how damn big the hype has just regenerated after what has been a up and down six quarters. I know it’s mostly in jest, at least around here, and I’m excited for what *hopefully* **could** be, but I’m not already constructing the statue after a 200 yard (120 yards came from two throws) (that’s both good and bad) 1-1 performance vs the Raiders like half the internet is.
All in all I’m ready to hurt again. And the two big throws was enough to hopefully keep some butts in the seats later into the season. Well, that and Myles head hunting that NFL record.
Man this offseason is going to be a disaster if/when they trade up for a QB lol
I don’t understand how anybody can put hope in this guy based on what we’ve seen, but I’m happy for y’all. Hope I’m wrong about him. Browns fans fall in love too easily.
I a. very happy with the way the 2025 draft played out. Taking Sanders at #2 could have easily changed the entire complexion of their picks – no thank you.
It’s been one game against the Raiders my guy. Let’s pump the breaks on the second coming bullshit before he plays a real team.
Graham was they WAY better pick at the top 5 but F it, make some room for me!!!
It’s the Raiders… if he does it vs SF, sure.
I am glad we didn’t bite in the first round. He seems like a steal in the 4th round
