He’s truly been an unsung hero for this team so far. Feel like he’s been lost in the shuffle and deserves more credit for some of his clutch FGs this year.

Unless absolutely necessary I don’t want to see that 4th down attempt at the red zone again when he can get it through the uprights.
Having a reliable kicker is so clutch.
Just his ability to bounce back after a slightly shaky start and keep momentum is great. We’re still seeing what he’s capable of but when he’s on the field I’m not in panic mode.
but guys. guys Romo had the edge in camp. we should cut Borregales for the final roster. guys guys Romo was better. Elliot wolf can’t draft. guys
So glad we didn’t ditch him after that one rough game. I feel like a lot of teams would have
People who thought that Vrabel and company would cut this dude after one bad game during the first few weeks of his rookie year were insane.
Aura Borregales
So far, so good. We’ll see how he does in the cold and snow.
It’s such a huge relief having a reliably kicker. The points add up so quickly and we’ve seen success and failure because of a single kick. He’s been great and I expect that to continue. Love it. Love it all man.
I remember when Andy vs. Parker Romo was a genuine debate over the summer. Turns out, they’ve both won games for us this year!
From Vinatieri to Gostkowski to Folk to Borregales. Having a great kicker is just the Patriot Way.
Rookie of the year award front runner
This rookie class has been outstanding overall. Basically 5 starters counting Henderson (who should start going forward) and Borregales
Much better than Wide Ryland
I thought he had the kicker rutts but he bounced back showed he’s head strong.
In vrabel we trust
Mr. Big Cajones
I’m glad we didn’t give up on him after the beginning of the season, kid looks good!!
A certain other kicker started his career in 1996 with the following game log:
1-1
1-4 (1 20-29 miss, 2 40-49 miss, 1 40-49 make)
1-2
5-6
3-3
3-4
Vinatieri turned out just fine, I’d say.
He’s even more remarkable when you consider that the Patriots’ long snapper and punter/holder are also rookies.
