  1. > Nick Nurse says Joel Embiid (right knee) remains day-to-day. “Just waiting for the doctors to clear him.” He was a full participant in today’s practice.

    > Tyrese Maxey asked how his shoulder is doing: “Great.”

    >Says it “felt a little weird” during the game but isn’t worried about it right now.

  2. Nick Nurse says Purple_Dragon’s spirit is “worn” even though the team is above .500. “He’s trying, reminding himself not to get too excited about the product on the floor.”

  3. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for the Embiid years but they sadly look like they’re coming to an end .

He did manage to overtake AI as my favorite sixer.

  4. He literally practiced a week ago. If his knee didn’t react well to that practice, just tell us

  5. Are we just trying to get through December at .500 or a few games over at which time, his sore right knee will be magically healed?

  6. On one hand I think Embiid could probably use all the rest possible for his knees and I fully support that but on the other hand we really need those 20-25 minutes a night right now.

  7. We all want embiid back but the reality is he’s only gonna be back for a week or 3 before the next knee injury.

  8. I’m calling cap there’s nothing wrong with his right knee ……trying to save him for playoffs

  9. A tale as old as time at this point now

I never thought there’ll be another sixer player I love more than AI and then my African brethren Embiid came along but at this point the fat lady is beyond warned up

Old yeller is out there limping…. I can see the shed and know what must be done but I can’t bring myself to it 😔 😢

  10. I honestly am tired of hearing/reading updates if it’s not him getting back on the floor. Everything else is meaningless IMO.
