I was there for the DS clincher against the Phillies and stayed as late as they let me in my section and him coming out onto the field by himself clearly in tears just looking around is the essence of Nimmo as a Met for me. No doubt in any of our minds he loved it here and loved the fanbase, and it was genuine, not just obligatory.
