Patriots Get The WORST NEWS Possible In Win Over Cincinnati Bengals 26-20

[Music] The New England Patriots take down the Cincinnati Bengals 26-20. It was an ugly win. It was what I’m going to call a game from hell. Multiple times this game, I thought that the Patriots were going to lose. I thought that the streak was going to end and the Bengals were going to take over. But a win is a win. And as you’re 10 and two, you lead the AFC. But looking at the bigger picture, you took more losses today than you took wins. And the one thing that you need to take an eye on is the injury bug has officially hit this team. It didn’t hit that much throughout the earlier parts of the season, and we talked about how healthy this team was over and over and over again. But today it hit you like a brick uh uh like a freight train. It hit you like a brinks truck. Jared Wilson goes down with an ankle injury. After the game he was seen in a walking boot. He was seen with crutches. So we do not know the extent of how long he is going to be out. Brandon Skooler, your special team specialist after the game was seen in a walking boot. Don’t know how long he’s going to be out for. Mike Frabel did say that he has no updates on any injuries. Morgan Moses left the game with an illness injury. Thankfully, he came back. Kyus Tonga left the game with a chest injury. I don’t think he came back into this ball game, but the number one thing that happened in this ball game the most, your starting left tackle got hurt. your starting left tackle who has been more impactful on this almost as much as Drake May. And the reason why Drake May is so good is because of Will Campbell had a knee injury, suffered a law like was he had to be helped off the field. He said, “I’m not letting the cart take me off the field.” But got to the sidelines, went to the blue tent, and after the blue tent got carried off the field, got carded to the locker room, tabble over his face. It’s a knee injury and we do not know the extent of it. I’m hoping for the best. I’m hoping it’s not an ACL, but uh after the game it did not the the vibes of the locker room were not good. The vibes were not a team that should be 10 and two or it should be at 10 and two leading the AFC leading the AFC East by a mile. Mike Frabel always goes after the game and talks and gives a high five. taps up every single one of his players. When the game ended, he immediately went to the locker room to check up on his starting left tackle. I I I hope Will Campbell’s okay, but from the way we’re talking, it does not look like it’s going to be all right. And right now, if he is out, but Darien Low, the guy who I think is one of the worst offensive tackles in the league, he will be in place at left tackle. We’ll go into possible replacements in the future depending on once we get his update, but uh but Darien Low played the rest of the game after Will Campbell went down. Will Campbell has not missed any game time this entire season. He is a workhorse and when he went down I was a little concerned but I hope he’s okay. I’m wishing the best for him. I’m praying for him and I need you guys to too. Send good vibes to Will Campbell. Send your best. Type your 66s down in the chat because the Patriots need him more than anything. He is one of the biggest reasons why the Patriots are playing the way they are. It is because of Will Campbell. Jared Wilson too. We need him too. It’ll be Vidarian Low and Ben Brown. Two starting guys that we saw last year. And we know how bad that offensive line is. Trying to stay positive, but this this news really really is getting to me. And I I it should not be the way we feel at a 10-2 team. But when you lose one of a star player like how good Will Campbell has been, I it’s it’s rough. It’s rough. Talking about the game though, I mean, a 26-20, there are a lot of things to get to into this ball game. a lot of the good, a lot of the bad, and a lot of the ugly. Drake May, you started off the game and I didn’t know what the hell was going on. You threw you missed a lot of open wide receivers. You missed a tried to no look pass to someone to Trayvon Henderson. You tried to throw it over the middle to Hunter Henry, not even close. You threw a pick six to in the seam to a wideopen Austin Hooper. A Hunter Henry, one of the tight ends completely floats it over and it was a pick six. This game should not have been close. But Drake May, he did keep composure. He did keep composure in the second half and he played conservative football. He played smart football. Now the Patriots, they should have been a little bit better, but Drake May, I’m not going to complain about a 294, 22 for 35 game, one touchdown, and one interception. Should be two touchdowns, but the refs are idiots, and that’s another story to get into. No 100 uh 100 uh QB rating, but Drake May, you’re still an MVP in my book. We’ll see what happens with Sunday Night Football with the Rams game. Trevion Anderson, it seems like the Patriots have officially moved to him being the starting running back. 18 carries, 66 yards. Not a great game. 3.7 yards per carry, three uh three receptions, 15 yards, but the run game was non-existent. And we’ll get into that because Raandre Stevenson had six carries for five yards. And listen, the Patriots have a goal line problem. You have an extreme goal line problem because that was bad. You had the ball at second and one or whatever it was at the one yard line. Tried to get in, couldn’t get in. Tried third down, couldn’t get in. Fourth down, you went for it on fourth down. You tried a Kahan booty out route, pulled. Yeah. Automatic first down. You get a new set of downs. What happens? Penalty. All right. Well, let’s move back. Well, you get back down to the oneyd line. Third down, no good. Fourth down, no good. You tried run play after run play after run play after run play, and nothing happened. The offense in the goal line is an extreme problem. You cannot run the ball up the middle. You can’t even run a tush push at this point. I It’s really, really bad. and you’re going up against the one of the worst teams in the NFL, one of the worst defenses in the NFL. You couldn’t run against this team. You couldn’t do It was I’m just going to keep calling it a game from hell. And the Patriots are lucky to come out of this ball game with the victory. I keep saying good teams find ways to win, but next week you got the Giants. And the Giants look good. They just don’t know how to win. They don’t know how to win. The guy who pretty much kept the Patriots in this ball game, Hunter Henry, seven catches, 115 yards, one touchdown. It was a career day. And the wide receivers did solid. Pop Douglas had an amazing catch for 37 yards. But Austin Hooper, three catches, 39 yards, 13 yard average, 21 reception, a long reception for him. Like all the receivers, they didn’t do much. M. Collins did 15 yards. Stfan Diggs. They were doubling him the whole entire game. Two catches, 20 yards. It was It was mainly a tight end game and that was the plan for them all along. That was the plan for them all along. The offense got to be better. Everybody on this team has to be better and I believe in them, but it’s going to be rough without your two starting offensive linemen. And I want to kind of go into just uh like 20 points, 307 yards, one takeaway, one sack. Like I will say you could see the presence missing from Milton Williams. You could see how much you missed from Milton Williams. The Patriots came into this game only allowing 53 yards. That was the most they allowed from a running back. Well, Chase Brown came in and absolutely dominated. 19 yards, 107 rushing yards. He went nutty and that is because obviously Milton Williams is gone. He’s going to be gone for the next couple of weeks. But overall, like the defense as a whole, Flaco didn’t play that well. 19 for 37, 183 yards, but it was the run game that struggled. And that starts with Milton Williams. And I will say Harold Landry played great. Four tackles, one for loss that included a sack of two QB hits. Christian Ellis returned. Five tackles for him on the day. Jack Gibbons made impact on him. Kavon Chesan got the pressure on the final hit of the ball game and made it like they were all over the field. Braden Swinson got a tackle. But the one player I want to give the ball game to more than anything. And if I can find him here, Marcus Jones, man, he’s unbelievable. He makes plays over and over and over again. Three solo tackles, two pass breakups, one interception. He read that play perfectly from Joe Flacco where he drops back. He was looking down. Marcus Jones was eyes on him where the whole time saw him checking it down to the running back. Immediately jumped it. Pick six. On the last play of the ball game, Flaco was getting hit. Throws it up. Marcus Jones comes down, slaps that boy down. Ball game. Worth every single penny that we paid him. every single penny. I love Marcus Jones. He is one of the best slot corners in football and he has emerged and he might be an allp pro this season. I got to give it up for Marcus Jones. Like you are the reason why the Patriots, you are one of the huge reasons why the Patriots are 10 and2 on the season. And the last one, if I had to give out any game ball, Andy Borgalis, man, four for four on field goals. That is 12 points right there. that you are one of the reasons why the Patriots win. If they had to go to the Bengals had to go down the field and score a touchdown because Boralis made a 52 yard field goal. Like Borgalis, there is a reason why the Patriots trusted him and he started off a little shaky a he started off a little shaky in this ball in the in his season, but ever since that first couple of weeks, he’s been better and better and better and better. And I trust him kicking basically anywhere on the field. Now he hit a 45 yard going in. He hit a 52 yard. Like when you need points, Boralis has been there. Four for four, two extra points. He is a trustworthy kicker and making himself known in the NFL. I trust him. I I’m a little shaky with the uh injuries, but you know, we got to give you guys updates as soon as they come out. If we get a Will Campbell update tonight, I’m making a video for you guys. If we get a Jared Wilson update, I’m making a video for you guys. Brandon Skooler, everything. I got you guys covered here on Patriots today. But it’s going to be a tough blow without those guys. We’re already missing Milton and you saw the run defense today. But uh I still got a little bit of confidence in my Patriots. I’m I’m very concerned about Varian Low. I’m not going to lie because Varian Low is not good. Ben Brown, he’s played in a ball game before. He did pretty well. Varian Low at your left tackle because uh there’s a possibility that uh he loses his block.
