Victor Scott II Tries Boston Clam Chowder | St. Louis Cardinals
going to take you around, show you some stuff that I have never seen before, that you all may have never seen before, but it’s going to be pretty cool. Take y’all through my journey and my first experience in Boston. I don’t like to be cooped up in the hotel as much. Boston kind of being like a a historical place, I wanted to to get out here and be able to see this city and explore a little bit before before games start get rolling. I don’t know what half of these buildings are, but Paul Rivere had to come through here, bro. I think baseball takes takes everyone to places they’ve never seen, places that they have will think they have never been. I mean, even Katouit, Massachusetts, been there, which is relatively close to Boston, but would have never thought I I’ve been there. Yeah, I thought I was like stayed in the south and and been near Atlanta and whatever, but I mean, baseball would take you so many places that are unimaginable that you wouldn’t even fathom to to be, but it’s taking you some pretty cool places. Like right here, we’re we’re coming up on like the Paul River house. I’ve learned about him when I was like in the the third, fourth, or fifth grade, kind of in that era. But he was the messenger. I mean, that was the guy who said the British are coming. So, I’m I’m here now like a a really historic artifact to be able to to look at to be able to go through, walk through. It’s pretty special to me. Where the tea party at? That’s what I want to know. Tea Party got to be got to be somewhere close if there’s water in Boston, right? I’m actually just kind of taking this in. I like being on boats. I like I said, I like being outdoors, but to be able to like come out here is is like it’s really relaxing to be honest with you. Like a lot of people are sitting down on benches. That’s not a bad off day activity. Chilling out, relaxing like that with your feet up. And got some of the most famous soup in Boston. Got some clam chowder. So, we’re going to sit down. We’re going to try this clam chowder. Going to see how it tastes. Now, I’m a fan of clam chowder. Like, I’ll normally get that as an appetizer wherever I go, but but this is Boston. This is what they known for. Now we got my friend right here. Um, Jerry. Jerry’s a cool guy. He obviously know about that clam chowder. He’s a Boston native himself. We got a little clam chowder here. It came with some New England style oyster crackers. Everybody’s told me when you go to Boston, you need to try some clam chowder. That’s what we known for. That’s what we’re known for. Ooh, cha. As much of a fan as I am, I have no idea what’s in clam chow. I just know I just know clam chowder tastes good. Okay. Okay. I see where they say try it. This thing pretty good. Mhm. I mean, he’s a man of man of very few words, but I can’t take myself serious doing that stuff. He’s staring at you, too. You’re staring at the clam chowder, bro. It’s time for baseball at Fenway Park, and it’s the Red Sox home opener here in Boston. There’s no place quite like Fenway Park, especially the one and only Green Monster. It’s truly a treasure of our game and an icon here in Boston. I mean, it’s everything that you see on online, you see on TV. the ambiance of it, the visuals are there. We got the big green monster, which I’m right in front of right now. [Music] That stuff right there. Piece of history. A part of history, though. You know what I’m saying? Crazy. [Music]
