Adam Engstrom today on getting the call up from Laval: “Maybe I’ll have a little bit more confidence. It was a little bit nerve-wrecking when I got the call (that I was joining the Habs). It was an exciting time. I’m just really happy to be here right now.”

  3. Know what, I really really like that the Habs are rotating guys in so that they can gain some experience.

  5. He should’ve gotten a call up right when Ghule got hurt. He’s probably a better option than either Strubes or Xhekaj.

  7. Because they are heading out in the road they want to have an extra with the team just in case something happens. It’s possible he slots in but I’d guess he’s along as insurance.

  8. Been a while since we’ve had too many good player battling for a roster spot.

    I hope it’s the case with Engstrom joining the team.
