If only our ownership would take the same route.

  1. Lurie and Roseman have a sense of decorum and honor that I respect but they got to pull the trigger right now. Season literally hanging in the balance right now. This team will definitely give up if we keep down this road.

  2. There’s just only so much you can accomplish with firing KP.

The only two success stories I can think of was the Ravens in 2012, and the Bills in 2023, and both times they just promoted someone from within.

Who is there internal that we feel even remotely good about taking over?

  3. McVay could become our OC tomorrow and it won’t magically make our OL start run blocking well or Saquon slip on his ass every other time he tries to make a move.

  4. I mean, firing Desai for Patricia didn’t do a damn thing.

Who says the other guys who are Nick’s people aren’t just as incompetent?  Johnson was.  Patullo is.  Nobody seems to be pushing back against Patullo’s idiotic plays.  Instead we just hear “some coaches are saying they don’t like Hurts” shit.

  5. This would legitimately be a bad move. Someone else should take over play calling for sure, but firing an OC mid season when we have an 8-3 record would kneecap our ability to hire and retain coaches AND would probably make our offense *worse* at least for a few weeks because you can’t just switch schemes on a dime.

And tbh I’m not totally convinced Patullo is an awful *coordinator*, I think he’s mostly just an awful play caller. His opening drives have been fine, especially lately, and he has legitimately made some changes like going under center more and even running more crossing routes so it’s not like he’s doing *nothing*. But once the offense loses it’s structure he simply can’t recover. He defaults to throwing deep sideline passes and running up the middle. We need a new play caller now, and then we can get a new OC after this season is done.
