20 minutes of Marcus Semien’s highlights with the Rangers! (2023 World Series champion)
Two-1 pitch and that one blasted right down the third baseline. That’ll be extra bases. Pim is in. Tapia waiting for that ball to get to him. Finally gets it back in. Simeon with a double and the Rangers are on the board. It’s two to one. For Marcus Simeon, his first hit as a Texas Ranger is a runscoring double. It’s also his first RBI. He had 102 runs batted in last year. And he hits this one in the air. Center field. A going back at the wall. And that one is gone. A grand slam for Marcus Simeon. His first home run as a Ranger. And it scores four runs. Well, that’s going to let off a little steam for Simeon. And it’s been a long time coming. And you hope that that one unlocks the big bat. And the Rangers leadoff man going forward. What a big moment. A grand slam for Simeon and the Rangers lead it nine to one. This ball hit well deep out to left field and Rosa Raina going back. He’s at the wall. Gone. First home run at home in a Rangers uniform for Marcus Simeon. The Rangers are on the board. It’s three to one. I think we all anticipated as the calendar turned to June that the power was going to start to come in more to Marcus Simeon’s game. It was overcast drizzly. We were delayed by an hour and 20 minutes before game one as this one back up the box. Bangs off Mccardi and Simeon has an infield hit and uh Marcus just continues to collect hits in this double header and the 3-2 pitch. This one hit well deep out to left field. Back is Marcato. Gone. And there it is. Marcus Simeon with another home run. And the hot bat stays hot. Well, that didn’t take long for my prediction to come true. Marcus Simeon, I’ll tell you what, just his at bats in that first game, he’s just squaring the baseball up and Mccardi just leaves a cookie on the inner half right here, including a home run. And he hits this ball on the ground in the hole short. Knocked down by Rosario, but he’ll have no throw. And Simeon is on for a third time. Simeon in this game, two singles, a homer, a walk, and a steal. In the first game, he had two singles and a homer. And a steel. And this ball hit well deep out to left center. It is gone. His third home run of the day. Marcus Simeon. Four for four tonight in the night cap with a couple of bombs. Well, the day just keeps getting better for Marcus Simeon and for the Texas Rangers as they add a nice insurance run there. Drive out to left field for Marcus Simeon. Back at the wall, it’s gone. Rangers blast their way onto the board. Simeon’s ninth of the season. 104.6 off the bat. Over the wall, over the gap to the next wall, into the stands and all smiles. Marcus Simeons, he heads into the dugout through the East Bay and the two strike pitch. That one hit hard down the left side and it is gone. 18th home run of the year for Simeon and he’s tied the game at one. Marcus Simeon putting a charge into another fast ball out of the hand of Capriillion. Tony Beasy likes it as well. It’s like, “Hey man, that’s my first my first run as a manager.” This one hit well deep out to left. That thing is gone. Whoa! Into the upper deck. Simeon’s 19th home run of the year. And you talk about a no doubter. That was crushed. Nearly 420 ft off the bat. 418 ft off the bat for Marcus Simmon in an absolute no doubter in that I guess second deck we call it here at Target Field. Still looking for one more big home run and he hits this one in the air deep out to left. Moore is back at the wall. It’s gone. So Simeon gets number 25 tonight and he gives the Rangers a one-run lead. And this pitch they’re trying to go away. Remember he struck out on a change up off the plate in his first at bat. They tried to go off the plate again. Well, Seamian is already homerred tonight and he just hit one a ton out to left field. That one has a chance. It’s gone. Caught in the bullpin by the Rangers. Another home run for Simeon. All right. Well, home run derby continues tonight. Comes another one. This is a slider that sits right in the middle of the plate. As we’re sitting here kind of taking a look at Seaw Wald in the game logs, four times he’s allowed two runs in a game. Every single time it was when he’s pitched back to back on opening day went two for five. Here comes the right-handers 10 pitch and that ball is hit deep out into right center field. This one has a chance and it is going to make it into the bullpen. A home run for Marcus Simeon. Somewhat of a line drive shot. It just sneaks over the wall into the Rangers bullpen out in right center. Simeon now 4 for9 lifetime against Zack Wheeler. Clubs his first home run of the year to give Texas a one- nothing lead. This one up the middle and on a backhand Simeon the throw to first. Plenty of time gets McKenna by a step and a half and a nifty play by the Gold Glove. Second baseman 1-1 and this one on the ground right side diving stop Simeon the throw to first in time with Jonathan Hernandez covering another dazzling play by Marcus Simeon a massive strength of the Astros the last handful of years has been this bullpenu came in to pick up Brown last night it’s nearest right now semian hammers this one to left it is high enough to get over the wall and a grand slam. A splitter that hung up in the zone and he hit it out at 100 to make it 6 nothing. 02 Crusher. Oh, and this ball hit high in the air deep out to left field. That could be trouble. It’s gone. A three-run shot for Marcus Simeon. He’s opened it up eight-2 in the sixth inning. Three straight games now for Marcus Simeon with a home run. He is locked in. Two two pitch and Mey hits it back up the middle. That could be trouble. Backhand stop. Simeon. Long throw in time. They got him. Oh, what a nice play by Marcus Simeon. The gold globerine. I don’t believe it. I mean, he’s playing in the right position as it is. Great job by the Rangers scouts, but look at not only does he get to the ball, but he gets up in the air. That’s some type of arm strength. Big 3-2 and Guerrero bounces it up the middle. Sliding stop and Simeon hops up, makes a throw to first. He gets Guerrero. Another great defensive play by Marcus Simeon. Your first thought when you see this is that at least he was able to keep the ball from going to the outfield and you save a run in the meantime. But on top of that, now here’s Marcus also getting an out. And what was makes that even more impressive is that watch the umpire here gets blocked off there for a second. So he doesn’t have a read the entire time on the baseball. That’s off the end of the bat. A little bloop into right field. Simeon gets out. Oh, and he made the play and Torres is lost. He’s at third. That’s a double play. Wow. Marcus Simeon went a long way to get to that one. And Torres can’t believe it as he’s asked to leave third base. You can see Marcus tracking his baseball down and an easy double play. Aaron Boon was angry about that play by Claver Torres. They have made some base running gaffs in this series and 10. Marcus hits it in the air deep out to left field. That’s got a chance. It is gone into the second deck. Career home run number 200 for Marcus Simeon. And it gets us off to a great start this afternoon. It’s one to nothing. Absolutely blasted. He knew it when he hit it and he smoked it at 106 off the bat. Marcus Simeon did not appreciate that. Valdez turned away right away. But after what we saw with Yordon Alvarez, I got to believe Marcus at least had a thought in his mind that that could have been intentional. Yeah, you know, he’s not happy at all. And I got a feeling warnings are now going to be issued as the Empires get together. If you’re going to do that, if you’re trying to stick up for Yoran Alvarez in that spot as a teammate, then you act like you meant to do it. I mean, he did it and then turned around and acted like it was a huge mistake and trying to be almost like apologetic about it as the warnings are now issued. And Marcus Simeon gets his third shot at Farmer Valdez. Oh, Marcus excited for this one, too. And he hits one high in the air deep out to left. It is gone. What an answer for Marcus Simeon. A two-run shot. You think that one felt pretty good for Marcus? You don’t see it very often, but you can see him staring out at Valdez and Valdez turning his back to Marcus. He wanted that one in the worst way and he absolutely got all of it. That had to feel great. 40 years old, still pitching at uh an elite level. But the first pitch hammered it to left. It’s gone. Marcus Simeon with a blast to left field and the Rangers show a little life in the first inning. It’s two to one. A perfect way to answer back here for Marcus Simeon and keep this crowd in it against Justin Merlander. Oh, that ball is belted out to left. It is gone. Marcus Simeon having a day. His second home run of the game. Makes it eight to three. And he has driven in all three tonight for the Rangers. He had the RBI single to go along with his two solo home runs. Curve ball and a change up in the mix as well. First pitch swinging. Simeon hits it down the line. If that’s fair, it’s gone. First pitch of the game and Simeon puts the Rangers in front. It’s a nice job here by Marcus Simeon. Jump on that first fast that you see and that you like. And it looks like the two seam fast with not a lot of run on it at all. And Marcus Simeon with a line shot here to left field. His 23rd home run of the season. Now Simeon and he goes after the first pitch. Uncorks one deep to left. It is gone. Second home run of the game for Simeon. Pretty impressive. And this is a slider and not a very good one. And just kind of spun up and in and locked in. Marcus Simeon. That’s himself another home run here this afternoon. 24 now on the year. 95 RBI’s, sixth most in the league. And he hammers that ball deep out to left. That’s got a shot. It is done. He’s done it again. 10th lead off homer of the year for Marcus Simeon. An ongoing franchise record. He turns and burns on that one. A no doubter for the Rangers second base. 26 home runs this year for Marcus Seamian. Semian homered in the first inning. Struck out his last time up. And he hits his ball at time deep out to center. Rodriguez near the wall leaps up and it’s off his glove and over the fence. Simeon with a home run and it’s just straight madness today. 72 Rangers and perhaps a slight assist from Julio Rodriguez who we know is a great defender in center field. It was not going to get out on its own and it was off the glove and pushed over the fence. And now it’s up to Pñena with the bases loaded. Up the middle, Simeon. A diving stop. Saves the day. Could have been a whole lot worse for the Texas Rangers. Marcus Simeon with his play of the postseason. Two on, two out, a one-two pitch. Simeon pulls one down the line. Hooking fair into the corner to score. Janowski in as well as it kicks away. Simeon’s on his way to third. He’s in there. Marcus Simeon for the second game in a row comes through and it’s three to nothing Texas. Slider hung on the plate and this one barely inside the line. Simeon starting to heat up. They’re going to need guys to pick up the slack for Garcia being gone. Janowski can flat out fly. who’s got the Rangers ahead 7 nothing. And now Simeon crushes a ball back to left field. Guriel to the wall. Goodbye. It is a route in game four. Marcus Simeon came into the game with three RBI’s this postseason. He’s got five in three innings tonight. Third, two out. Here’s an 01 to Simeon in the air to left center field. Guriel’s back. It is gone. Texas on the verge. It would be a fitting final touch to this run for the Rangers. We’ve talked about it. They’ve got up off the mat. Every punch, every scenario had their star player in this series besides Seager get hurt. Sherzer got up off the mat. They’ve been relentless. Oh, that ball hit hard down the left field line if it’s fair. Gone. Simeon’s fifth of the year and he puts the Rangers back in front. It’s two to one. Line drive off the facade out there in left field. Boy, this ball leaves the ballpark in a hurry. Two. Little bouncer by the mound. Charging in from second and a scoop to fire. Simeon gets him. What a play by Marcus Simeon. The gold glovers. We’ve seen Marcus the last couple of days make some gold glove plays and this is just another one of them. He’s coming in full speed. Never a doubt in his mind what he was going to do with this ball. He gets it, shovels it off to Nathaniel Low for the out at first base. That is just poetry in motion. Doesn’t have a whole bunch of walks. He’s going to throw strikes. 286 batting average against first pitch swinging and Simeon sends it deep out to left center. It is gone. And there’s a good start to the afternoon today at long last. The Rangers score first. Sixth of the year for Marcus Simeon. Third leadoff home run this season. Marcus Simeon. 27 on his career. Yeah. And he shoots this one between left and third. That’s a base hit. Another run in. Three nothing Rangers on four consecutive singles in the inning. The Rangers get another ball that they can handle and Marcus Simeon gets his second hit of the game. A homer in the first and that ball is ripped by third. That’s a base hit. He scores easily from second. Tiveres being waved all the way from first. An RBI double for Simeon. His third hit and his fourth. All right. Third and fourth RBI’s already. This is an unbelievable day for the Rangers offense. And Marcus Simeon gets the double. Fourth inning. There’s a bouncer. Third base from deep behind the bag. The throw to first goes wide and everybody’s safe. He scores from third. It’s back to a 10-run lead for the Rangers. The fourth hit of the game for Marcus Simeon. Good teams from last year like the Rays going through the same kind of things. Diving stop up the middle. Simeon to first. Got him. What a play. Marcus Simeon. Well, that’s how you win gold gloves. Marcus Simeon laying out to the back hand and gets up a strong accurate throw to nail Diaz over at first place. What a play. Loan Garcia the stretch we’re in now. That ball in the air deep out to left a back. It’s gone. 12th of the year for Simeon. And he puts the Rangers back in front. And he goes to the fast diving catch. Simeon to Seager for the double play. A platinum type performance from Simeon in a big moment. He keeps the Rangers up by three. That ball smoked deep out to left field. Will it have enough? It’s gone. Simeon smashes a three-run shot and the Rangers open. It’s one up. It’s their biggest offensive night of the season now. 7-2. Oh, that ball high in the air deep out to left field. Wind helping it back to the wall. Gone. Marcus Simeon’s fifth home run of the year. And the Rangers with two round tripers of Pepio tonight have taken a two to one lead. Well, Marcus Simeon continues the turnaround of his season in 2025 and he gets a heater at the top of the zone and the Rangers take the lead. I just learned something. I didn’t know that Dennis Zucker pointed that. Yeah, he did. This ball hit well. A towering shot out to left. It is gone. Simeon’s second home run of the night. Almost a carbon copy of the home run he hit in the fifth. Marcus Simeon is back and it’s 3-1 Rangers. Secret first base. Two-2 10th inning. Here it comes. And a little flare. Base hit out into right. And the Rangers will win it. For the sixth time in Simeon’s career, he delivers the walk-off hit. And the Rangers even the series with a 3-2 win. No doubt challenging evening for him on some kind of a high. Pitch on the way and there’s a swinging to ground ball up the middle. That’s a base hit around third base. Smith. Here he comes and the Rangers have won it. What a night. What a home stand and what a moment for Marcus Simeon. 65 Rangers keep the winning going with an extra innings walk-off win against Atlanta. Well, that one’s touched off. Deep out to left. It is gone. Marcus Simeon leaves a yard. His 12th home run of the year. And that’s a 250th home run in his big league career. That’s got to be fun to hit it here. And it puts the Rangers up 5-1.

welcome to the Mets Marcus
I think he was better with jays
I hope Marcus has a good time in the Mets. We will miss ur smile
Goodbye Marcus. Even though these last couple years were rough, I'll always appreciate what you did these last 4 seasons, especially the legendary 2023 World Series run. May you find success playing alongside the likes of Juan Soto and maybe Pete Alonso, while I hope Brandon Nimmo can hit better than Joc Pederson at the very least. Rangersforeverâ€
