I refuse to buy scalped prices. I see the scalper prices and it makes me want to not own the thing. From Pokemon cards to Graphics cards to Hats. Nothing is worth this bullshit
Why is everyone obsessed with getting merch for a World Series they *lost*? American League Champions or AL East Champs stuff makes way more sense
Let’s pay $200 for a World Series hat that we lost in. lol. Losing the World Series pisses me off to no end. I have zero desire to look at that logo as a reminder – let alone pay $200 to do so. We’ve won the World Series. I’m more than happy to wear those hats.
I bought one after the Mariners series almost immediately with zero intention of wearing it
Even at retail, tax and shipping it still wasnt cheap
$200 is a joke, though
Something is worth what someone is willing to pay. If the market dictates $200 for the hat then have at it. If they sold it for $50 at that market value the seller would be the sucker.
