  1. I think the goal line frustrations kind of undermine how good it was that Drake was able to find it after being totally out of sync to start the game. It would have been very easy for him to go into a downward spiral but he was able to refocus and be effective. He’s been able to do that a few times this year but it was very prominent yesterday.

  2. Such a strange off day from him. The pass between two receivers stands out. Just seemed off early on, even before the injuries to the line.

  3. These throws are un-fucking believable. Talk about threading a needle in heavy coverage with perfect precision. Drakes going to be a perennial all pro if he keeps this up. And let’s be honest, the supporting cast is very average… imagine him with a solid Oline and legit weapons. I’m salivating just thinking about how good we will be for the next decade with this kid at the helm.

    Leagues fucked

  4. I’m a pretty casual football fan, never played it, never even got into Madden but I grew up in the Brady era so obviously became a pretty big Pats fan. So I don’t pretend to be an expert on the technicalities of football, but even to a layman like me when I watch Drake’s Passes, my God, they’re just beautiful. It’s just so obvious to anybody with eyes.

  5. He still played quite well yesterday. The pick six was bad, but he was good outside of that. I’m glad he’s quarterbacking this team.

  6. My man Drake has the Kobe gene. He has no memory of his last bad play and doesn’t let it affect his next one. He has “no conscience”.

  7. I really wish we got more of this camera angle.

it really makes the game look different, so much more appreciation for plays when viewed this way imo.

  8. He loves to throw it right at linebackers that are turned away from him. He’s consistently made the right reads on this thus far but I’d be interested to see how his reads change against a backer with more skill as a coverage guy. It’s a tendency that I love by him but could get him in trouble in a big match up

  9. The pass to Douglas from their goal line, and the groan from the crowd, was just fantastic. You could just hear in the crowd – they were appalled, but not surprised. They were all, “Damn it, this fucking guy”.

  10. What impresses me the most about elite quarterback play is just the instincts and knowledge of timing where a lot of these throws if you take off even 5mph from your pass it’s getting tipped or picked. I can appreciate the other details like understanding formations and progressing through reads, changing presnap protections. All above my head but like I can understand how someone else could understand that. But to look at your guy 25yds downfield, who is supposed to find a hole between three guys, and who hasn’t even made the cut towards his spot yet and to let it loose with full confidence….dang I don’t think that can be taught.

  11. There was also the TD throw to Henry where he looked at the receiver near the left sideline to bait in the secondary.

  12. Maye came out and played like Simple Jack to start. Then just snapped out of it and threw some amazing passes. Crazy.

  13. We have our franchise QB and our head coach locked in, and they’re both young. Anything is possible with that in place, fuckin love this team

  14. You can easily see moments where the game slows down for him. It’s cool watching him build that level of muscle memory and knowing where everyone is going to be.

  15. Incredible throw, full credit to Drake, but don’t forget to also credit the coaching staff on that one. Something that had to be so inch-perfect has no room for error.

  16. i saw that first throw from the stadium and just started screaming OH MY GOD HES SO GOOD

  17. Best deep ball thrower I’ve ever seen.

Maybe prime rodgers is close but he didn’t really have the balls for some of the more risky throws that Maye attempts

  18. I thought this was going to be a joke post from when he was just off in the first quarter and threw it exactly between two wide open options

  19. His anticipation is next level. That’s probably why his long throws are further above median compared to his shorter throws.
