It’ll be interested to see what happens if USA and Japan face each other again. On one hand I want to see Shohei do amazing things but I’d also like to see a win from team USA with how stacked they’re set to be. Knowing Shohei’s lore though he’s gonna strike out aaron judge and homer off paul skenes in the same game lmao.
I hope our guys do well but I’m still rooting for US.

Hope Yamamoto rests, but I think country pride gets him on the team.
Team USA with Skenes, Scubal, Crochet and Fried seems unstoppable (but Scubal probably opts out to protect his max contract)
I was lucky enough to witness a couple of WBC finals; 2009 Korea vs Japan and the last one in Miami when Shohei struck out Mike Trout.
Excited for this tournament and try my luck in getting tickets in Japan!
Also, if anyone’s lucky enough tk go to Japan, I’d highly recommend attending a game there. The atmosphere is unlike the US games.

I’m from Puerto Rico so I’ll be going for three different teams 😭 obviously first is PR then Japan and US
If it’s Sho vs Judge at bat we know who wins … we saw it with Trout but a show non the less. The WBC is just a show of players from different countries and it gets the people live for baseball instead of rooting for a team you root for your country that shit gets the partt started!
Much as I love Shohei like the next one to me, when it comes to the WBC home is home. USA! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
