I really think character should be a major component for hall of fame induction, above stats. I would take Hines Ward on my team over Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, Antonio Brown, etc. Players like Hines Ward are key in building a team capable of winning championships. He 1000% belongs in the hall of fame and should be celebrated as a role model and part of the standard for how players should carry themselves.
And I dont care what Bengals fans have to say about that.
Loves Hines, but if defenses didnt routinely make you the focal point of the game plan, your not a HOF WR
He was the only football player to survive a supervillain attack, so he’s got that going for him, which is nice.
