31. Our current tandem has 11 games combined of NHL experience lmao

32. In a season where everything had to go right for them to even be an 8th seed, everything has gone wrong.

    This is on management. Past mistakes aside, this year alone, they placed big bets on Demko, Lankinen, Chytil, Kane, and the entire AHL crew.

    20 games in, every single one of those bets has blown up in their faces.

    You can use injuries as an excuse, but not when it comes to Chytil and Demko. Every keyboard warrior saw those coming.

    I had high hopes for Rutherford and Allvin. They instilled more confidence after the Benning era. But they cleaned up one mess only to create one of their own.

    And I don’t think ownership is controlling management directly, but I do think ownership hires people who share their assessment of the team, ie. they overrate the quality of the team. This is why they don’t blow it up. They always think they’re closer than they really are.

    At a certain point, they have to accept where they’re at, and it feels like they might finally be getting there.
