  1. Woll has the right headspace. He just needs to stay healthy. Tall ask. If he can, he’s a starting goaltender. Where in the top 30? If healthy, probably somewhere in the middle at best. But a starting goaltender I suppose…

  2. Woll it was a mercy pull they weren’t helping you man but do like the want to play attitude

  3. Good shit. I like to hear that. It was the right thing to pull him and us losing the game had nothing to do with him. Could have been worse to be honest.

Use that anger as fuel and I hope the rest of the boys rally around that even if it sadly hasn’t happened this year yet.

  4. Woll seemed to be the only one on the ice pissed off…. everyone else just seems disinterested

  5. Joseph Woll is such a puppy, it was disorienting to see him drop f bombs on the ref when his helmet came off.

  6. I know this isn’t his personality but I really wish Woll let his team have it on the bench when he was pulled and just went off on them and broke a stick or something. Light something under these carefree players

  7. I think a lot of people forget, Stolarz was signed to be Woll’s backup/compete with him and drive him into the number 1 slot. Woll has more upside and is younger and so far is playing better. I have faith this is gonna be our guy for the next 10 years, when Stolarz comes back let him know he lost his *temporary* number one spot to Woll.

  8. When he got pulled…. not a single person watching the game was throwing any kind of shade at him. He was playing awesome. It should have been 10-0 when he was pulled.

  9. What? That doesn’t sound like Woll at all. Sounds like a King Richard thing. Totally a King Richard thing.

  10. I fully expected this. Everyone was so busy blaming Stolartz or Hildabeast (Primeau doesn’t count). Turns out I was right from the get go. No matter who you put in net.. with the chances the Leafs cough up, it doesn’t matter who you put in net.

Goaltending was never the issue. It was always this inept and situationally unaware team that doesn’t know which man to cover, has 4 players watching the puck carrier instead of the intended recipients of perfect cross ice passing, high danger chances, breaks, rushes, inability to clear the zone, inability to move the puck out, inability to move the puck through the neutral zone, inability to keep the puck in the offensive zone, turnovers, getting hemmed in, inability to pinch, making terrible passes leading to cough ups…

Ya, but it was the goalies fault.

Gonna be a rough year for all Leafs goalies this year. Ya, at least Woll was pissed. I’m sure Stolartz was too when he went off on the team for all the above as well.

  11. I genuinely believe the Leafs will turn it around enough to make yet another 1st round exit. At best, game 5 second round.

There’s no way we can just tank. That would be too easy.
