Instant Analysis of the 49ers’ 20-9 Win Over the Carolina Panthers

The 49ers just beat the Carolina Panthers 20 to9. And before I get to Brock Perie, let me give credit to the defense. It was absolutely fantastic. That being said, it was facing the Carolina Panthers, who were awful, particularly on offense. One of the worst offenses in the league. So, it’s hard to make too much of a deal after about what the Ner’s defense did. Let’s talk about what their offense did. Let’s talk about what Brock Curtney did. Three picks in the first half. He was awful. And Kyle Shanahan really enabled it. The opening drive was great. Kyle Shanahan script was great. running and short passing. It was the Jimmy Garopolo game plan, the M. Jones game plan, and it was working. The Niners never trailed in this game. All they had to do was that the whole game, and they would win by a lot. But no, Kyle Shanahan needed to prove a point on Monday Night Football and show the world why the Niners gave Brock Perie so much money. So all of a sudden with the lead, Kyle Shanahan starts calling longer passes down the middle that the Panthers are waiting for, have scouted, the whole league knows Kyle calls that and they intercepted him three times. So at in the second half, Kyle Shanahan, all he could do was baby Brock Perie. Didn’t trust him anymore. Called a bunch of really short passes and got out of here with the win. Brock Purie is playing alarmingly bad. If he can’t throw the ball 15 to 25 yds over the middle, he doesn’t give you very much. He can run around a little bit, but now defenses are taking away the middle of the field and forcing to throw outside the numbers. And guess what? He can’t do it. You know who can? M. Freaking Jones. But the Niners won’t bench Brock Curry and play M. Jones because they gave Brock Purie way too much money. And that’s what the Niners proved tonight. They thought they were making a point about what a great quarterback Brock Purie is, but really they showed the whole world that he’s not good and he shouldn’t be playing, but he is because they made a mistake with uh accounting. So, I would have benched Brock Pury and played M. Jones in this game. Kyle Shanahan couldn’t or wouldn’t. And now what he’s going to do is baby Brock Pury the rest of the season. And when the Niners miss the playoffs or lose in the first round, they’ll find someone else to scap to scapegoat. But you know what? It’ll be his fault.

  2. Watching Broc throw into the line then an int the next play then processed to throw 2 more gave me flashbacks of Broc entire career. Broc is dog shit and has been for 2 years straight now. I’m sick of the Broc glazers. Mac is 100000 times better and it’s not even close. I’d take a real qb over a scrambling chicken with his head cut off like Broc.

  3. You might be jumping the gun on benching Purdy just yet. He's missed several games from the turf toe injury and is probably not quite there yet. Montana and Young had 3 n 4 interception games. Young had multiple. Others have had 4 n 5 like Elway and Farve. The Manning brothers have had bad games with 4 and 5. I think Russell Wilson had 5. Someone else has 6. It happens. Let's see how the next couple games go before we throw him under the bus for good. I get the money argument. But he's supposed to be the starter franchise QB. Benching him now would hurt morale for the whole team. The niners made a mistake not going with Alex Smith after he was out a few games and Kapernick played really well and they stayed with him. It cost them a Superbowl win. They got a sloppy win tonight. Let's move on.

  6. I noticed the score from the 49er game last night. It was OK the game but I would’ve been better 100% if there wasn’t three pics I hate to say but we need to put a new starting quarterback and that is Mac Jones. He is way better. He could take his team further on and win a lot of games and surprise a lot of people that’s rightKyle is gonna make a lot of mistakes. We got real games to come up and going to Cleveland and browsing or playing games this is very interested. Oh boy we are in trouble.😢

  7. They only talk about the money who cares about the money we gotta win a lot of games. I guess that they cannot see the Eliza Lynch. Have they say if they wanna win put Mac Jones they’re not gonna win with this quarterback the one they have now I’m sorry they’re not gonna get them good😮

  8. I agree with you, Grant I agree with you. Yes they’re starting quarterback his Mac Jones. I agree I saw a lot of things miss tackle missed calls. I mean I can’t believe what I was seeing three pics that’s bad one week ago. Do you remember what I said? I know what’s gonna happen and I was afraid that was gonna happen last night in the game. He’s gonna get some pics and it did happen just like I said I said that last week This guy is not 100% ready to go. Mike Jones is ready to go to win a lot of games and in the playoffs to win some games in the playoffs if Kyle does not wake up and then they could wave the season goodbye in the playoffs. Seahawks are watching us. Green Bay is watching us. The Eagles are watching us. Very interested. Chicago was very interested. We’re gonna play them at Levi. Oh boy, Kyle wake up.😮😮

  16. Brocklievers are horrible 7ints in 4 games. Going back to last year he’s been a turnover machine. The Brocklievers had a lot to say last week. Not a Grant fan because he be flipping flopping terrible. Just was screaming to replace Mac with Brock after the Rams game. Brock ain’t it. Jimmy 2.0. Brocklievers get ready because 4 out of 5 games of the season has, good defenses with scoring offenses.
