Monty Friday then Doby Saturday. Makes sense.

His pads stand out really well in this picture. I hadn’t noticed them that much before but they are SHARP!
Finally they seem to be realizing that dobes is just a better goaltender than monty.

Is he perfect? No . But hes better than monty
I wouldn’t read too much into this.
At some point you need to reward players for their good performances. Doby had a 5-2 win? There was a 3 day break? It’s fine to give him a nice shot in the arm with a 2nd start in a row.
Will this have an impact on how MSL views his goalies? Fuck no because there are 4 back to back games in 17 days (10 games in 17 days). They’ll be splitting starts no matter what.
I still can’t believe how fucking intense December will be for them. As of tomorrow they have 15 games in 28 days. And as of next Saturday they’ll have at most 1 day breaks between games (no more 2+ day breaks until Xmas). They’d have to be nuts to do anything but alternating every game.
