Not sure about Bryson but on paper this looks like a good team. Hopefully they can keep stringing wins together
Am I looking at a Sabres lineup on paper and feeling… ***not uncomfortable?!?***
Honestly the Doan Thompson Tuch line I think could be a top 5 line 1 in the league
Much better lines than at the beginning of the season. Ostlund’s growth has made so much difference. The adversity helped as it gave he and Rosen a chance to prove can play, and they both did.
Maybe I’m huffing copium but to me that looks like 3 solid scoring lines, a checking 4th line, and 2 solid D pairs…are we back?
Really hate that bottom pair. Neither are good in their own end, Bryson simply because he’s not big enough and Power is just bad at defense.
Wonder if they’re keeping Greenway out another game based on this lineup.
Could use Rosen vs either greenway or krebs personally but that’s not a bad looking roster
So who is missing? Greenway, Dunne? Anyone else?
Edit: excluding our other goalies.
I think Ostlund is going to keep surprising people, in a good way.
I don’t think Norris is going to surprise us at all.
It’s nice to see this roster looking more complete but the top 9 still looks mismatched to me. Maybe trading one of our 3 goalies will help.
Wonder where Kulich slots in when he’s healthy and who’s the odd man out.
Geeh putting your best players on the top line who could’ve thought of that after the first week
Three pieces of the Eichel trade return all in the lineup is pretty impressive.
Norris, please don’t trip over a stick in practice… I really want to see what this guy can do…
I am so absolutely happy I don’t see Greenway in this lineup. The dude was just 100% LAZY in that Calgary game, and out there just not giving two shits. Clearly knew others were about to be healthy and swap him out. SORRY, not a team player, you can go stay in the AHL forever… I even used to like the guy until I saw him earlier this week when i went to the game.
Wait is he back next game!?!?
Norris appears to be progressing well.
Norris is being ruled out for Wednesday at Pittsburgh. Returning Friday against the Devils is a possibility.

Norris taking the ice
With injury plagued players like Norris, what if anything, can be done to strengthen them? Should he take a season off to bulk up?
Does anyone know about training with the Sabres. Is that a house secret? Like, what does Florida do to train? They beat the shit out of people all year.
As I’m thinking about it, Colorado is so fast and good because they train at altitude. Do other NHL teams train in hyperbaric conditions?
I swear to God the first player that drills Norris, the Sabres need to open a can of whoop ass. Take a major for all I care. Send a message.
Stolen take but he should definitely be in 3rd line center let him play a few games with less workload. Cleoder is doing great as a 2nd, let him actually finish a game for once
So nice to know that even if(when) two or three of these players get hurt(please don’t be Tage or Ras for too long lol) that we finally really do have some depth to support it..hope everyone that hopped off the bandwagon the last several years stays off this teams about to pop
throw in Kesselring and Kulich (hopefully) and on paper shit is looking real nice
Lot of gaps in my hockey knowledge, but shouldn’t the other two goalies be at practice as well? Or at least whomever is going to dress as backup? Or is he just saying that Luukkonen has the starter’s net?

NGL that forward lineup is looking pretty nice with Norris back in the mix. Benson-Norris-Ostlund is a really fun line.
The McLeod line also functioned great as our 2nd line last game so pushing them down to 3rd line matchups is even better.
Having a real 3rd and 4th line is amazing to look at.
For the love of god Norris please stay healthy.
Shocked that Norris could be back already

Also, those button reaction things that Formula 1 drivers use, do goalies train with those? Reaction time skills. https://youtu.be/cyy4lqRERJM?si=jMJbwtmxJoYEGt55
