God, I love this organization.
Only one first round pick used too. Why dont other teams get really good value out of their 3rd plus round picks? Are they stupid?
This Ethan Evans Erasure will not be tolerated.
I’m excited to see how we handle the next few offseasons
Shit is crazyyy
It might be time to start considering kam kinchens as the superstar of that draft, crazy to say
I’ve said this before. The flexibility is so essential to our resurgence. We were written off after 2022 because we had basically aggressively traded away picks for Stafford, Ramsey, Miller, and so on. Some thought we had put away our future so much just for that win-now move, but the move itself clearly paid off for that season alone. Then, it was the time to rebuild and remake the team. Normally, the trajectory could’ve gone as follows for a team after the win-now move: we could be an average to a mediocre team at best, and a budding team trying to find its footing at worst. All would depend on how the FO would react and what moves they would be making.
Quietly but surely, the team unloaded itself to remake the OL, offense, and especially defense, after AD GOAT retired. Avila, Durant, Lake, Puka, Turner, BY, Verse, and Fiske came around. What surprises me is how much they’ve punched above their weight and risen to the occasion after a retooled 2023 & trial-by-fire 2024.
I still think it’s rather simplistic to say that we’re just known for the “F them picks” move. Plenty of our best guys in recent years have been from draft like Goff, Havenstein, Higbee, Kupp, Gurley to the aforementioned players above. It says something when we fleeced the Falcons (thank you) to get what will be a possible top 10 pick next year.
doesn’t even include Ethan Evans from 2023, not to mention Davis Allen Warren McClendon Blake Corum and Jordan Whittington have all played meaningful snaps too
More like, Fuck. Them PICKS!
Its still F- them picks. But it’s Fund-them picks now
This is actually absurd
Ramsey turned into Byron young. I remember how pissed people were we only got a 3 ignoring the contract situation and how we operate when it comes to trading players that have been good to the team.
Averaged out, we’re just a healthy balance of both 😂🤘
I think one of the side effect of not having a 1st round pick for so long was that the Rams org and the scouts HAD to start looking and focusing on the intangibles. And that’s paid off with them being able to find so many “diamonds in the rough” that they could call our scouting team DeBeers
Now it’s “Fuck! Them picks!!”
Yyyyey
You guys got Puka and Byron in the same draft holy
