What if someone told you back in March that this legendary trio would capture the NL MVP, NLDS MVP (if it existed), NLCS MVP, and World Series MVP in the same season

  1. Well they’re about to repeat 🔁 for the WBC as well, and match Ichiro’s titles with Japan

  2. I was high on Roki since he was still in Japan, but I’d probably be skeptical to hear that he would win an MVP over these two dogs

Edit: my bad, he destroyed the Phillies in game 4

  3. I feel like the expectations actually were that high.

When Roki struggled a lot of fans did not take that well…

  4. Honestly, I’m still processing the fact that Ohtani’s on the Dodgers. If you had told me after the 2023 WBC that him and Yamamoto would sign with the Dodgers for the 2024 season and Roki would sign in 2025, I’d probably get a heart attack. Don’t even need to mention the fact that the Dodgers would go back-to-back.
