Will The Phillies Run Back The Same Club?

try to sell us on it’s pretty much the same club. We were pretty happy with our club. We just ran into a good club in LA and they had a really good pitching staff in that divisional series, but we were happy with the club we have and we believe that Rob Thompson has what it takes to get the club over. Can you imagine? Can you imagine this? If they got stuck and they had to run it back with almost the exact same team. Look, if they bring back Schwarber, that’s one position. They bring back JT, that’s two. You know, if they can’t get rid of Cassy, that’s another guy back. You have Turner. If you don’t get rid of Bow, you don’t get rid of Stop. It would be left and center. It would be the exact same. You don’t know that. Well, maybe. Yeah. Maybe Marsh is your center fielder. Oh, stop it, Ricky. Stop. Stop. Marte. All right. Look, we’ll get back to the Eagles cuz you’re making me upset if they run it back. It could happen. It could happen. I’m not, by the way, I’m not trying to upset you. I’m just looking at facts here because everybody is so adamant that bring back Schwarber, bring back JT. That means you have four, five, six guys in your quarterback automatically. And then what? What is running it back?

  3. I would not bring JT back. I respect JT but he’s an aging catcher I believe Rafael Marchan has the tools to be a starter catcher is much younger and cheaper. I’ll bring Kyle Schwarber but I wouldn’t give him a five or six year deal I’ll offer him a 2 to 3 year deal. This team is aging and they’re only going to get worse. Don’t make the same mistake. Ruben made by hold onto aging stars to long it’s time to start a youth movement.
