Asked the guys what they have made up when strangers ask what their job is! #shorts | Phoenix Suns

Thomas, bro. I say I’m a professional chess player anytime. It works. I don’t know what he might say. Oh, I do water polo. Water polo. I say I coach JB basketball. I usually say lawyer. I always just say I work for the Suns. And then if they don’t ask any more questions, I just kind of leave it at that. I was in Europe traveling on an off day. Someone was like, “Wow, you really thought you play basketball?” And I said, “No, I’m actually like a world class trained geologist and I’m here studying the rocks.” And they’re like, “Oh my gosh.” And then it turned into like a 15-minute conversation of me lying about rocks. So be careful when you make up your job. I say I’m a teacher. I always say a different sport. I probably say soccer or something. Nice. Or dentist. That I play tennis. I usually just say real estate. I told you I was an accountant one day. I like to say I golf, bowl, tennis. I don’t really make nothing up. I just say I play basketball and then don’t elaborate. I don’t lie, but I just be as vague as possible. Like I play sports or I’ll play basketball and then don’t go into any detail. I be like just play basketball. That’s my job. Never made up anything.
