John Metchie & AD Mitchell All-22 Film Breakdown | Have the Jets STRUCK GOLD at WR? 👀

Metchie and Mitchell made a handful of excellent plays vs the Ravens.Â
This is why you take high upside swings at WR. The Jets could be a top 50 draft pick away from fixing the WR room. They both beat man coverage a ton on Sunday.Â
Yes, Mitchell had some drop issues vs the Pats but I’ve been overall impressed by both of Mougey’s trade targets Â
Time will tell, but here for anything positive about the Jets.
It would be good to see what happens in a few weeks. They are both new to the system with a new starting QB.

I’ve been rooting for metchie for a long time now and I’m so glad he’s overcome his cancer diagnosis and is getting a shot.
I was there in person this past weekend. Both of those guys when speed and potential. Mitchell was open all game. Metchie looked quite effective in the slot. Now add Garrett back in there plus Arian Smith plus Mason Taylor and that’s actually a nice group to work with if we get a QB that can rip it
Love the video but one small piece of advice, make the circles white instead of black. It was near impossible to tell which player you were circling pre-snap on the phone. Other than that, love the trades, love the breakdown and looking forward to seeing how the continue to grow over the remainder of the season!
Seen Metchie get separation, running routes effectively and just off YAC. Could be a legit WR2, he’s very talented just hampered with health issues out of his control it’s great to see him doing this well.

They definitely are very talented. You don’t become key pieces in WR rooms like Bama and Texas without being able to play. Metchie is just a victim of leukemia and not getting opportunities on the field. As a big Texas fan, I’ve already seen the good and bad with AD. He’s gonna make big plays, but he’s gonna lose focus and drop a gimme. He’s a bad ball catcher with a great catch radius. Mougey bought low and could really reap the benefits if these guys can play up to their potential.

With these two in the house, plus Garret Wilson, Tyler Johnson, Arian Smith, I don’t think there is a pressing need to draft a WR in the first round anymore.
TBD on Darren Mougey, but I’ve loved his work in-season. Not afraid to break up the team, taking some bold risks and has found some real diamonds in the rough. I hope he and AG are the guys to lead this team.
Great video as always. Lots of Jet fans here are sleeping on Mitchell or writing him off because of one rough game. Dude is a starting X receiver all day if he cuts down on the drops.
Also Mike Green beat Olu on that rep where Tyrod tossed that deep shot out of bounds. Really wanted him in the 2nd round, although Taylor’s been good too.
I feel like picking up the two wr mid season really changed the offenses trajectory. I have optimism going into the off-season that we can figure out the QB position. I think we have a good GM
