Did they lose again? 13 goals this time. Yeah, let’s see 13 goals this time. Now, we saw 12 in the last one. Let’s see 13. Hugh, the save percentages are absolutely garbage for both sides after that game. That was a goddamn catastrophe. All right, going to pull up Dallas in Vancouver now. Singing the uh anthems here. We got to sing the two anthems. Obviously, see, I didn’t even I didn’t even get to see if my own team won today. They did. Oh my god. The Red Wings lost five nothing. Holy crap. That’s crazy. Florida shut out New Jersey one- nothing. Thank god I didn’t do that game. All right. Get ready for the start of the first period here. It’s going to be Kevin Lanken in a net against Jake Hinger. And this one could be a scoring affair, too. We’re tied at one. Oh, Lord. He answers right back. Not even two minutes later. And Lionus Carlson with the game tying goal, his third of the year. And just like that, we are tied at one once again. It’s been a chaotic game here tonight already. Good lord. banked around back into the Dallas zone. Petravic now regroups with it. Top corner on Kevin Lankan and his 12th goal of the year. It is 2-1 Dallas. And for those who follow the commentary, that’s Robertson’s fourth goal in a commentary stream. It’s Maverick Bourc’s second goal in a commentary stream and it’s Lenus Carlson’s first, his first point as well. Haven’t done a lot of Canucks streams recently. Got to do some more for sure. There are three goals from Maverick Bourke, Lionus Carlson, and Jason Robertson. It’s a 2-1 hockey game. All All right, nice little casual game here tonight. A lot of goals, of course, but come on. Look at me, guys. Who doesn’t love goals? Come on. All right. Kick me out of kick me out of the damn stream. Is the quality and everything good for those who are in here? Is the quality and everything up to par? Because I know sometimes it’ll give me a hard time. It looks like it’s been okay. It’s been actually better than what it was in the uh Montreal stream. So, all right. Face off here now in the Dallas zone is won by the Stars. They’ll regroup with the area moving through center. Heiskinan banks it off the boards back down low into the Vancouver zone. Heronic to the right side. Banked off the boards then by Sassin. Besser throws it up to center. Racing for it then with speed. Heronic a shot into the glove of Ainger or into the chest of Aer I guess you could say. Dallas with six shots. Vancouver with four. You’re seeing the offensive zone pressure here by both teams. We’ll see if there’s the same amount of goals as there was in the previous game. Obviously, there were 12 in the Montreal Washington game. We’ll see if that’s the same here. Our next stream will be on I’ll be on Monday. We’ll be doing Red Wings and Devils. So, the Devils will get their like fourth stream of the season already. And Detroit, we have not streamed in a little bit. So, I got to get a Detroit stream in here soon. There’s a couple teams I want to do, but it sucks because like you only have so many days where like I’m available to actually stream. I wish I could just take a week off and just live stream the whole time. Here’s Quinn Hughes. Throws it in front. That one is denied by Andre. They’re drabing out that puck and they eventually blow the play dead and nothing comes of that. Lightning beat the Oilers 2-1. Oilers keep racking up losses. Jesus. So Bour from Ritz Coen, Carlson from Nobody, Robertson from Henson, Lindell. It’s a 2-1 game as we just approach the over halfway mark. Hughes to Heronic. A shot blocked in front. Kept in though by Vancouver. Heronic trying to move that one up to the point. Hughes to the right side. Patterson fighting for that puck now down low. Taken back then by Kane Garland. A shot and it off the post. Here’s Heronic now on the right side. Cleared away then by Patterson. Stars get it back. Here’s Jamie Ben to center. Johnston brings it in. Drops it back for Rantinon. Rantin moves in. Wade shoots it. And that one goes up and wide. Kept in though by the Stars. Rantin on the right side. stolen back then quickly by Kane. Kane to Hughes. Hughes drops it back in is Patterson. Shoots it and that one’s wide. They didn’t have a clear lane to it. Garland on the right side. Garland to Patterson. Up to the point to Meyers. Back to Patterson to Meyers at the point. Hughes waits. Skates out at the point. Meyers a shot. That one goes wide. Back behind the net then for Petravic. Kick back then by Rantin. Rantin to back. Back will bring it into the zone. Gets tied up there by Meyers down low. Quinn Hughes will regroup now on the right side. Stars in front and that chance is blown away. Petravic now behind the net. Here’s Bourke down low then for Ritzian who gets tied up there quickly and does get that puck back. He’s tripped and there won’t be a call. Here’s Meyers now to center to Brusk. Dumps that one in down low. Oddinger on the right side clears it back down low. Now Steel will hold that one in the corner. Still battling forward alongside Ratty. Puck is finally broken free. Bitchell will throw that one up. Banked off the boards then by Steel. It’s kept in though by Vancouver and it goes up in the air and out of play with 735 left to go in the first period. So some offense from both sides. A chance by Connor Garland. Hits the iron and it’s a 2-1 game still. Alex Ovetchkin 10th all time in points. Forgot to mention that in the uh pre in the uh caps Canadian stream. Vancouver will win. We’ll see, man. We’ll see if We’ll see if they can pull out the dub. One can hope. All right. Guaranteed $1 million 5050 jackpot. Wow. I should enter in for that. I should do that. I could use a million dollars, pay off my college, could get Flyer season tickets. Like I want to do that anyway. Waste my money. I could go buy a house. Jesus, I could do a lot of things. Dallas here through the neutral zone. Petravic intercepted there. Moving it into the zone to the right side as Carlson into the zone. Pass over and O’ Conor can’t tuck that one through. Back up to the point then as the Conucks will be forced to regroup. Delayed penalty here for Dallas. So empty net for Vancouver and the Stars do touch that puck. So Dallas will head to the kill. Vancouver will get the first power play of the game tonight. It’s Sam Steel on the slashing call. So, we will see the Conucks here get a power play. The first one of the game tonight for that for Vancouver. Obviously, faceoff coming here now in the Dallas zone. It’s won back then by the Canucks. Besser to Hughes. Back to Besser down low. Quinn Hughes now at the point. Hughes to Besser. Besser moves in down low. Sherwood waits back to Besser on the right side. Up to the point. Then Hughes moves in, shoots it. It goes wide. Now Besser tries feeding it up to the point. It’s cleared the other way then by the Stars with six and a half minutes to go in the first. And it’s actually cleared out of play. Canucks are seven for 16 in their last power in their last 16 power plays which is actually not that bad when you think about it. Patterson the offensive forward that is will take the draw against Blackwell and he wins it. Hughes at the point. Slap shot save. Rebounds there in front. They try and jab at it. It’s cleared away the other way now. Blackwell down low for Lindell. He will clear that one back into the Vancouver zone. Canucks regroup now. Quinn Hughes will move that one in the defensive zone through center to Patterson. Person brings it in, drops it back. Now Hughes will skate it around. Look for options. Hughes. Patterson waits, shoots it, and it goes wide. Ain’t missing your Canucks, man. Welcome, Tim. How you doing, bro? Hughes to Patterson. Back to Hughes. Besser waits to the point. Then Hughes to Besser. Besser moves to center down low in front. Sherwood denied by Oninger. Go connects go. Love to hear that. What’s up, Eddie? 40 seconds to go on the Vancouver power play. Pass in front. Patterson to Besser to Hughes. Hughes down low. Patterson. Patterson waits. Moves to the front. Shot. Save. Rebound. It’s in. It’s in the crease. They’re jabbing at goes in. I think it’s going to be Jake De Brusk. Or it might be Elias Patterson. I’m not 100% sure. And it might have been It looks like they’re going to give it to Elias Patterson, it says. But a power play goal and the Conucks have tied it. That’s four goals. And hey, you’re in there jabbing at those rebounds on that power play. You took you some time there. They threw the puck on. I think it was Person who made who had the who had the goal, it looks like. So, it will be his goal. That’s Elias Person’s seventh goal of the season. He had a good week last week. Six points and three games played. Oh, wait. No, I I I digress. It’s Jake the Brusk. So, just like forget everything I said. Forget everything I said. Jake de Brusk, his ninth goal of the year. Power play goal. Shots are seven to six and it’s a two-2 hockey game. Lots of goals tonight. Down low here now in the corner. Rotten and battling for with Garland on the right side. In the corner tied up there is Marcus Patterson back then for Conf who was a new acquisition here for Vancouver. Rantin now behind the net. Regardless, Person does get an assist, so it’s it’s fine. Canucks throw it back to center. Here come the Stars back into the zone. Rantin drops it back. It’s intercepted then by Meyers on the right side. Tyler Meyers looks for options. Banks it off the boards. Back over then to center. Garland brings it back in down low. Big hit there by Bishop on Garland. What a what a massive layout that was. Here’s Kane now down low in the corner as K will battle for that puck. Cleared around then down low. Kane behind the net. Kane up to Heronic to the right side then to Elias Patterson. A shot and it’s blocked in front there by the Stars. Still in the zone though. Vancouver has it. Another chance and that one goes up in the air and back behind the net. Now Kane trying to get that one centered now. Down low. Rantinan around to the right side. Kept in by Patterson. Down low in front and Oer makes the save. And we get some pushing and shoving here as Carlson’s going at it with Ranton and he’s trying to skate away. He’s like, I’m not taking this crap from this guy. So, four goals already in this first period. It’s 2-2 with four minutes to go. in the opening frame. So, Elias Person, another point tonight. He’s racking up the points. I feel like you got to respect that. It seems like last year was a rough year for him. It feels like he’s coming around. As Tim just said, it feels like he’s coming around. Oh my goodness. JT Miller thing affected him. Yeah, for sure. He’s really improved since then. I think him being there in Vancouver and, you know, he started to put up some more offense. I’m not I’m really satisfied with the way he’s played so far. But we’ll have to see if he can get back to that uh star player that we thought he was going that he that we projected him to be. But still, regardless, like 14 assists, nine goals, it’s it’s respectable numbers. You got to be happy with that. That is Jake de Bruss goal in a commentary stream. It’ll be Elias Person’s first point. That 100 point guy. We’ll see if it happens. Like again, there’s still there’s still a long season to go, but the fact that he’s putting up numbers like this already does make you optimistic for sure. Anyway, faceoff’s going to come here in the Dallas zone. It’s conf against Steel. Faceoffs won by Vancouver. Quinn Hughes skates it up here at the point, looks for option, shoots it, and that one goes up in the air. Heronic down low here now. Banked off the boards then by the Stars. Hints to center. Stars will regroup or Kucks will regroup. Heronic feeds a pass up and Sassin can’t make that pass completely, but it’s no icing. Lindell to the right side clears that one the other way. That one will slide. Not enough though for an icing either. Hughes to Sherwood. Sherwood banks it off the boards back then. Behind the net is Quinn Hughes holding it back from Ritz Coen. Back to Sassin on the right side. Max Sassin with some speed, dumps it into the Stars End. Kolia Chanuk banks that one off the boards to the right side. Vancouver looking for the go-ahead goal. Pass in front and that one is blocked off quickly. Maverick Bourke loses a stick and that will be a penalty. And it’s going to be Lenus Carlson who goes to the box for a slashing call on Maverick Bourke. And the Dallas Stars will head to the power play for the first time tonight. Vancouver at a power play. Now Dallas gets one. I guess that’s the quote unquote makeup call is what they like to call it sometimes. Johnston eight power play goals. He had a power play goal last Thursday against Montreal when we commentated that game. Faceoff now in the Vancouver zone. Shots are 10 to six in favor of the Canucks. Down low here now. Garland clears all the way down the other way. It’ll go into Jakeer as Heiskinan regroups. Mero Heiskinan drops it back to Johnston. Johnston nice spinama move there. sends a pass up and into the zone and stolen back then by Patterson who will clear that one down the other way. Dallas 11th or for 31 in their last nine games in the power play. Um I’d like to see Vancouver hasn’t won a game in a while on a commentary stream. So I like to pull for Vancouver but just for Tim. Just for my boy Tim. But I don’t really have a dog in this fight. I wouldn’t mind seeing either team win. Johnston to Heisken on the right side. Still in the back end by the by the Stars. Robertson knocked down twoonone the other way. It’s Camp with the brusk. Camp shoots it and it goes wide. Here’s Rantin now with that puck. Moves that one through center. Robertson will look for options over then for Rantinon who brings that one into the zone. Looks, waits, skates around, holds that puck down low. Robertson to Rantin. Ransin to handling in front. Robertson off the pads of Blanken and he nearly had another goal there. Here’s Heiskinan to hints. Heiskin now on the right side down low. Rantin. Rantin waits. Stick handling in front. A chances there. It comes out and Camp will clear the other way. A good passing move there. The Stars are moving the puck around, but they’re not getting shots on. Now a 80 seconds to go. Dumped down low into the Vancouver zone. Rantin now behind the net. Heronic battling for with Bourke. 5 seconds to go on the power play. Up to the point and Vancouver kills that penalty off. Good kill by Vancouver. Very satisfied with that. Here’s Heronic down the other way. Out of the box is Carlson down low. Slides that one in front. had stolen off the boards then and back out to neutral zone for Tyler Sean. Sean up to the point over a shot by Blackwell is denied. Kicked away. Another chance is dropped back into the neutral zone. Last minute of play now in the first period. Blackwell dumps it in. It slides wide of Lankanin. Now Person battles forward here on the right side trying to steal that one out in front as Hughes. He’ll take it the other way. Quinn Hughes to Garland. Garland to Patterson. Patterson skates it back around. He’s tied up now down low. 20 seconds left. Hughes at the point. Shoots it. Directed away. Back down low in the corner now. Bashelle battling for it. Besser behind the net to the point now to Hughes. He can’t keep that one in. 10 seconds to go. He’ll come back and regroup. And that’ll pretty much do it here for the first period. Four goals scored in that first period. Two from Vancouver, two from Dallas. Shots are 10 to six in favor or 10 to seven, sorry, in favor of the Canucks and we are tied here at two apiece heading into the second period. Well, that being said, folks, it is first intermission time. Go get a snack. Go get a drink. Do what you got to do. We’ll be back for the start of the second period momentarily. All right, that being said, I am going to go use the bathroom. I will be right back, guys. Thank you. I have returned. Sorry about that, guys. Oh, let me update the alltime watch with Nordic scoring sheet and then we can do some intermission questions. Yeah, sound good. All right, first off, Maverick Bourc, his second in a commentary stream, his fourth point. That is 22 and four. Then assisted by Ritz Coen. Actually is a fourth point, third assist. Ritz Co has been a really good like free agent ad. Lenus Carlson his first goal in a commentary stream. His first point as well. It was assisted by nobody. He becomes the 4 and 99th player to get a goal or get a point. Hey, it’s Dave. What’s up, brother? Thanks for the $10 donation, bro. I really appreciate that. What’s up, Dave? Hope you’re doing well, bro. Haven’t seen you in a while. How’s How’s life been? It’s been a little bit. Thank you, Dave. I appreciate that. And then that is Jason Robertson. Fourth goal in a commentary stream. Puts him seven points total. Assisted by nobody. Nobody got the assist on that goal. And then Person. Patterson did get the goal. Okay. Good to see you busy. been doing well. How about you? I’m doing good. You know, we’re hustling, getting through college, doing the commentary streams as well. Having a blast as always. I’m glad to hear you’re doing well, bro. Person. So, Elias Person becomes the 500th player to get a point in a stream. So that’s up to 500 different players who have scored a point at least once in a commentary stream. That’s pretty cool. Jake de Bruss with the assist. Put him at one and two. The br the Conucks have never scored a lot of goals in a stream before. Then again, we haven’t done that many streams for them to begin with. So there’s that. All right, just updating this last player, Kefir Sherwood, who does lead all Canucks players in points, by the way, and and commentary streams. All right, intermission questions. I have generated a thousand different intermission questions. They are hockey related, they’re food related, they’re TV related, movie related. Just give me a number between one and 1,000 and we will ask. And I have an intermission question. Just pick a number between 1 and 1,000. And Dave with another $3 donation. That’s my boy. Thanks, Dave. You are keeping my bank account alive. Adam Fantily with the overtime winner earlier against Columbus or against Toronto. We’ll be doing that stream on third on Wednesday next week. They play uh Columbus in Columbus. 666. Man, you’re you’re you’re picking all like the the interesting numbers. All right. 666. What is your favorite mascot in the NHL? Um I got to be the bias guy. It’s gritty. It’s gritty. That’s my favorite obviously, but I’m sure your guys’ favorite is probably your favorite team, which is fine. Like I’m not saying I’m not criticizing that. But Gritty’s my guy for sure. What are your guys’ Finn? Yeah, Finn. That makes a sense. Gritty. Agreed. Yeah, Gritty’s got to be up there as the goat. Gritty’s great. Phillies fanatic. Hey, I love the Who doesn’t love the fanatic? Hugh? The Phillies fanatic is a legend. Philly fanatic has always been a legend. There is no doubt about that. All right, 425. We’ll do 425 as well. Number 425. Would you rather always get upgraded seats or free food when you go to a hockey game? H I gotta be honest with you, like almost no matter where I sit, I will have a good experience. Free food would be great. Just gonna say that the free food would be great. You guys hear me? Like it it like yeah, you know, upgraded seats would be cool and all, but free food, come on. Free food. Yeah, free food. I I know it makes me feel it makes me seem like a fat ass, which I am, but um upgraded seats. You focus on beer. Hey, that’s fine. Like, they’re not Suzuki or Cfield. Like, I say Ghoulie is your biggest one. It doesn’t mean that it’s acceptable to lose five straight games. So I I I agree, but there are injuries, but I don’t know if those injuries are like ex It doesn’t make losing five straight in really bad fashion, too. Like you allowed seven goals last week. You allowed eight goals tonight, it’s not acceptable the way that they’re playing. Faceoff here won by the Stars. Petravic will clear that one out to center. Racing for it with speed. They were nine they were like nine and one against nonplayoff teams and like one and four against playoff teams heading into that stretch with Montreal. I think they’re still a playoff team. They’re just not what their start perceived them to be. I think once they figure this out, they will probably end up somewhere around the middle. All right, one more period, possibly some more time after that. I remember you did the commentating on Dallas versus Montreal thinking it would have been a good game. I I did because Montreal was a good team and Dallas was a good team. I mean, you know what? Dallas beat the crap out of them. Yeah, that was not a fun stream. I mean, like, it was cool to see Dallas stat pad, but like those blowout games are just so boring. It was an absolute like demolishment. I don’t even want to talk about that game, honestly.
