  1. God forbid one of my kids was in their unfortunate situation, I’d hope someone would be as kind and generous with their time as Jalen Hurts. THAT’S MY QUARTERBACK.

  2. Amazing perspective. While I’d rather us be winning and dominating I’m even happier to see the leader of the team spend some time with kids who are dealing with actual real issues. Hope they enjoy the game!!!!

  3. Maybe those kids can draw up a few crossing routes for the offense while he is there.

  4. Of all the things that are wrong with the NFL, the work they do for kids is not one of them. This is amazing for everyone involved, millionaire 20 something athletes especially!

For all the physical ability and financial means you may have been blessed with cannot buy you the perspective that these types of interactions give you.

  5. I love Jalen but there’s no way he said his favorite cheesesteak is Let down Larry’s, Home of the Bread-filler. I did actually meet Evan Turner at the 54th location right after we drafted him while I was waiting for my terrible cheesesteak. Charlie Sheen’s tiger blood interview was on the television and he was laughing every time Charlie brought up cocaine and hookers.

  6. i think this actually brings up something ive been trying to work out in my head, especially after this past phillies season.

theres only one champion every year in a given sport. wining the title is hard, and as we know personally, sometimes you go through droughts where you dont win one for 20, 30, 40+ years. if you make winning it the only thing that matters, you end up being really disappointed almost constantly.

which is why the actual guys on the team being likeable, good people is also important. no one wants to root for a team that goes 2-15 but is filled with lovable guys, but its also nice to know that the leader of the eagles is a standup guy who believes in the right things, and leads with dignity and class. id take that over a QB who is 5% better at being a QB, but is a total shitheel off the field that you know harbors a bunch of awful beliefs/attitudes.

  7. Can we do this in Houston with my non profit? We love you down here in Houston too…. it’s many Eagle fans here….ijs. please?
