I miss the AB and JuJu days. This WR room is so bad and has been for years now. Last year it was just GP who was worth anything and now it’s just DK. This position really needed to be addressed.

  1. What’s weird is that we could have kept Pickens and let him walk for similar compensation to what the Cowboys gave us.

  3. Watch them make no major moves to get a wr2 beside dk. At best all they can do is a round 3-4 wr

  5. Should have kept Pickens. Really, a 3rd for him? Him plus Metcalf would have been diabolical. If there’s one guy that could have kept him in check, it was Rodgers.

  6. I will never understand how people with bodies like him and Claypool can be so bad at jump balls. I will also never understand why we keep throwing him 50/50 balls.

  8. I also think our offensive scheme is complete garbage as well. I don’t understand why we didn’t hit fucking Washington in the middle of the field like 20 plus times at least when we played the Bears.

  12. Until the team elects to take shots and down the field and across the middle the WRs won’t matter. Thats not to say we don’t have substandard, which we do but the offensive philosophy is such garbage it doesn’t matter. Elite receivers will never excel under the current system

  15. Overall as a unit this is the worst depth at the position in a very long time. Decades. Been following this team for 35+ years, as a group it is one of the worst units ive seen as a whole, the past 30 years we’ve always had good if not excellent WR, and also good depth, this groups one of the worst.
    DK is the only legit starter and should be a #2 on most good teams, but he’s #1 here. The others are all #4 or #5 depth guys at best. Most belong on practice roster. Just an overall lack of talent. They reached on Wilson in the draft in 24. he doesn’t have the talent to succeed at this level. Not their fault, front office is to blame.

  18. Can’t blame the rest of the WR room when they’re never utilized. Roman was actually starting to do quite well other than a bonehead mistake with that fumble.

    They never get targets so you can’t call them trash.

  19. DK is very obviously not a contested catch guy. If only we had someone like that on the roster…

    They should have played Roman Wilson a lot more earlier in the season to get him experience in real games.

    The team probably peaked too early.

  20. Getting rid of arguably the best combat catcher on the league for a wr that only does combat after the whistle is wild to me.

  21. When everyone who joins us plays worse than they ever have it’s probably not a them problem.
