  4. He makes a good point, guys who are 6 10+ and are lights out shooters would dominate every other era and those guys wouldn’t be able to play in the modern game. The counter is that they’d probably work on their skill set to match the modern game and a lot of the best talents would be completely different types of players if they played today.

  12. Ngl this is an atrocious take in general. Anyone who looks at all time discussions like this is frankly an idiot. Obviously players now are going to better because the game has evolved. Nobody has ever tried to say otherwise. But there’s absolutely no reason to view this from the perspective of dropping someone from the 80s or 90s into today’s game. It has always been and should always be how good you were relative to your era, because if those stars from past decades grew up in the modern era, they’d still be stars.

    He’s right about jokic being the goat though

We have in our minds our joker’s great passes. We need a podcast of some of the great ones commenting on the most recent one to pwat.

  22. Funny when people think coaches and GMs would pick Shai. His team is loaded. That’s a big reason why they win so much.

    Shai is great no doubt but there are many great players in history. Very few like jokic. He is the ultimate floor raiser

    Put him on okc and they win 70+. Put Shai in Denver and maybe they win 50

    If Shai had a normal team they would win 45-55 and there would be ZERO debate between the two
