I swear we threw the game with that play calling. I normally wouldn’t say that but I was at that game and I paid close attention to everything. It was horrid, like we were trying to lose.
Very well handled by Rico, but I’m tired of Dave “taking accountability” for not calling plays that are just obvious to every other person somehow not smart enough to make the millions of dollars to call those plays

So insane i even had legit thoughts that Canales intentionally was throwing the game. How can you be an NFL head coach and have that gameplan of abandoning the run when it’s been working for us?? an NFL coach btw

how, as an NFL coach, do you not fix that sort of thing by halftime? with 60 minutes of play, it shouldn’t be AFTER the game that you go “in hindsight, we should have tried running the ball with our elite RB”
Canales has to be overthinking it and just be aware of the situation during games, he just needs to be flexible. If the run doesn’t work, then do something else, otherwise keep running Rico since he’s clearly trying to help the team win (since this may be it for him being a Panther after this season)
I don’t understand how we fans can spot these things by the second quarter and call for change while the head fucking coach of the team can’t see them make an adjustment until after the games over?
Why do I feel like Dave’s personal life may have actually been a sign of the type of coach he is. This guy is the definition of talking the talk but not walking the walk. He cannot be this dumb and make millions and have had some success, therefore he must be overthinking it and then lying afterwards.

I think the issue is that entire organization is walking on egg shells and pressing with Bryce. We can run the ball but it won’t be the long term answer if Bryce can’t step up and ball when we need it, when the WRs are open.
Thus Canales is overthinking the game plan. Trying to win and test his supposedly franchise QB at the same time.
Sounds good but I feel like in general we put out too much info in the media. Like we don’t need to advertise that we’re gonna start running more, we don’t have to tell everyone about how Bryce calls fake audibles to trick the defense and the exact specific play where he did it, we don’t need to tell everyone when Rico sees a play and calls for it and reveal the exact play where this happened.
No need to make things harder than they have to be.
I’m sorry but this isn’t accountability. Accountability is acknowledging the mistake and fixing it, not saying “whoops my bad” and then making the same stupid decision again. This shit is getting old…

All Panther Fans r family you should support one another and have hope every season that’s why we watch the game just waiting for “that” season and in 2025 two super stars have been born in Dowdle & McMillan if Bryce Young can pull his big boy pants up asap we Panther Fans have something Special to be proud of.
