Lamar Jackson Mic’d vs. Jets | Baltimore Ravens Wired

[Music] All right, listen. It’s real simple today. Okay, real simple. All right, you bring the energy, you bring the effort, and you communicate at the highest level, right? That’s it. Because warriors, they always show up. You always show up through the storm. Stay steady. Stay steady. Hey, tough, smart, physical. Hey, heat seeking missiles all here. 16 minutes. Bring the fight to them. Let’s go to go from the first to the last. Kick ass. They can’t with us. They know they can’t with us. How about this Ravens team? Make them look at you. Make him command you and go do it. At the end of the day, it’s all house, bro. It’s all house. Everybody in the family here and these kill. What we willing to do about it? Stand on your business from the first snap to the last snap. The prosperity. The play of the day. Jack, do what y’all do. Let’s come out the first snap. Leave no doubt. Send a message to everybody including ourselves. Bring it up, man. Here we go. Hey, dominate on two. 1 2. [Music] [Music] So, right now I’m working on gate humless cleat. I got Malachi Starks that just came in and I just finished Charlie Kohler’s and his his ple are crazy. I’m hyped about all them. This is going to be more subtle. Charlie’s going to be, you know, standout piece and Malachi just going to be you’re going to see him from a mile away. So, can’t wait for y’all to see him. So, the players came to me and was like, “Hey, can you do my cleats?” I was like, “Sure.” And they told me their cause and I was like, “I have a cause of my own when I do cleats or any part of projects. I give proceeds to my foundation as well. Basically, it’s like a full circle moment where we’re all giving back. I like, you know, doing details for a piece and when I give it to like the client or whoever’s receiving it, they start looking at it and they like every time they look at it, they see it something different. They pick up something like, “Oh, like you know, first glance you might not see it. Next day you might look at it again like oh wait, wait a minute.” Well, you know, got Malachi starts and his cleat design. They’re already look cool already. They look speedy like him, you know. And his is going to be a lot more different than those two. His is all hot pink, you know. His foundation is ESP, the special needs foundation, and he actually wants to incorporate that across. You know, I might add like a a verse or something like that, but also he wants to do like a painting himself as well too going with the foundation as well. But these are definitely going to be a eye popping. You probably going to see these in the nose week. Y’all got to stay tuned, man. Man, I’m super excited. I haven’t saw them yet. So, they they made them and I’m I’m I’m super excited. I know they did a great job and um it’s going to be very special for because of what it represents, but also um just a special moment for me and I can’t wait. I can’t wait. Ryan Malachi, man. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, man. Thanks for doing this, man. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, Jake. Brian, got something for you. Excited for these. Ready? You said just ribbon and a mustache. I got to do something more than that. Yeah, you did more. For sure, man. These are sweet. I love the Maryland flag in there and the raven. Do that boy. [Laughter] Oh man, I love everything detail, man. Like that picture is awesome. So when I when I wanted to do my cause, my cleats, I wanted to do something that was men’s health awareness in general. So I did I was doing the Movember thing already, you know, just the mustache just to raise awareness. And then I got connected to the Ravens with, you know, prostate cancer awareness. So it it’s home to me. So I appreciate you doing this, man. It’s really cool. Health is wealth. Yeah, for sure. This is this is awesome, man. Thank you. Thank you, brother. Man, you killed it. You The organization is called ESP. Um, it is a organization, Extra Special People. Uh, when I was in Athens, Georgia, I did a few things there with the team and they are a great organization and they’re very like hands-on and they’re very like specific about how they do things and they do a lot of great things and I think that’s a place that I would trust for Isaiah to go and it’s it’s a very special place. Uh, so I’ll be representing them. This is my nephew. His name is Isaiah. He’s um he’s non. He has autism. He’s nonverbal, but he’s super smart. He’s the smartest kid that I know. Super smart and he’s in his own little world. And since he’s been born, we’ve just always had a a strong connection. I feel like I get him and he gets me in a way and it’s just it’s special. Um but no man, this this means a lot. I appreciate it, man. I’m going to cheer you forever. You got the That’s my book. That’s my book. That’s that’s my dope. one and two picks for the Raiders. You know what I’m saying? That’s sweet. Highlight. My little Jordan logo. Exactly, dude. That’s really cool. So, I like to put give people their flowers and also show like the highlights of the cleats cuz you could just do like, you know, something here and there, but I like to get it personal and actually mean something to someone. Amount of creative work that went into this is pretty sweet. So, really appreciate you. Yeah. I might wear them when I get home. I might go to sleep. Them ice right there. Hey them icy right there though cuz hey bro don’t touch bro I can’t touch him I can’t don’t touch that picture that’s your brother no that’s my nephew your nephew that’s like it’s literally picture perfect to the picture I sent him yeah that’s you see m cool so these are the these are the cleats that we all had talked about they came and they look really really good so I’m excited for y’all to see my family’s my everything they’ve always been there during the toughest times of my life and during the best times of my life. Oh, I love the color. I love that. The support and the stability that I have within that word family. It holds so much value. That’s the your favorite scripture. Yeah. Oh, that’s nice. I knew you would pick. Yeah. It’s so interesting like the way that God placed everybody in certain positions in their life. And I think just the way that he placed me and my family and like the position that we’re in with each other and like our bond, I mean, it’s it’s just special. And then this is my he put all my interceptions on there. Oh, wow. Both of them. This one is my favorite for sure. That’s the picture of me and Isaiah. Wow. Oh, my babies. Look at I love it. Yeah, that is great. Look at that picture. Yeah, I know. I I need it for my trophy case. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I’m not giving you these. Oh, wow. Can’t wait to see how reaction when he see his picture. Yeah. Every time I see him, like he’s just he’s literally in his own world. Like he’s just having fun doing whatever. I don’t ever want him to lose it. It kind of pulled me back into it. I need to be more like that. Like I need to enjoy life. If he can be happy all the time, why can’t I? You know, like there there’s bigger things to stress over. Um, but I think really just having a smile on your face and and he doesn’t know it. Um, but like putting a smile on others faces as well. I think that’s huge. Um, and I think that’s something that I want to live by. I think he he killed it. I love it. I love the cause. I love I love all of them. It’s a great cause. Yeah. They killed it. I can’t wait to see you play in them. Yeah, I know. [Music] Well, if you’re joining us late, you haven’t missed much. Ravens in need of a spark. The sun is out, but it is not a sunny atmosphere here in Baltimore. It just feels like they’re not playing at their peak. Too many years. Cuz right now we playing in today to where they wanted to play. Right. Whoever the leader on offense, they need to tell each other, “Hey, let’s wake up and let’s go play our best football.” Man, we got to score, man. We got to go score, man. And we got to punch in right here, coach. Just 72 total yards of offense in that first half. You get the ball back here to start. What do you need to see on this first drive? See a good drive. You know, get a good scoring drive, get in the red zone, and then finish it with a touchdown. That’s the main thing. And the Ravens offense continuing to struggle to find the on switch right now. The Ravens have to take some shots down the field against that Jets defense. Hey, hey, hey. Come on. Come here. Let’s go. Let’s get this first down. Let’s go. Lamar drops to the 10 yd line looking over the middle. Now he’s flush from the pocket running to the right. Gets outside the numbers. Lobs it down the far sideline. Mark Andrews reaches up and can’t make the catch. But a flag is down at the Jets 42 yd line. Pass interference defense number 26 ball plays in the spinal foul. First down Baltimore. So Lamar Jackson extending the play. The Jets commit pass interference and maybe that’s the spark the Ravens offense needed. Ravens 0 and five on third down today. Jackson takes the snap looking over the middle fires complete to the 28 yd line and the Ravens move to James on a great catch by DeAndre Hopkins. [Music] And the round goes to A Flowers. He’s to the 20. Flowers all the way down to the 17 yd line on a brilliantly executed fake to Derek Henry. And the Ravens get a first down. And they are inside the red zone to start the second half. Plays. Two clutch plays. Nice job, guys. There you go, guys. Unless you hurt your ankle for a second. Oh, no. It looked like it would just pull through your leg like that. Good. Yeah, it was good. I should have looked all the way in. All right, listen. Don’t matter if you score a touchdown here. Yeah. Lamar pulls down, bobbles the snap, takes it, hands it to Keaton Mitchell, who scors his way inside the 10 and first and goal Ravens. It’s their fourth first down of the drive, which matches their first down total from the entire first half. Jackson drops the throw, rolls out to the right. He’s got room. He gets outside the numbers. to the five and he’s pushed out of bounds at the four yd line. Here’s a give to Derrick Henry from the two. Henry running between the hash mark and the king is in. Touchdown Ravens. Just what the doctor ordered for the Ravens. Out of the locker room and into the lead. And the Ravens open up the second half grabbing the lead for the first time today. Nice. Good job, man. Great job. I was trying to look trying to see how I was going to catch it like if he was close. I was going to catch it like that. So he would punch me with my hands extended. Oh, he steed to catch it like Yeah. Cuz I ain’t want to punch it out. Good job giving the mark a chance on the third down, man. Scramble throw clutch. Huge. Keep an elbow drive. Keep sawing wood now. Keep sawing wood. We’ll get the ball back. We’ll get more points. Okay. But keep sawing wood. These linebackers are so shallow. Play extra. Got all kind of grass. Continue to stay low. Primary, secondary, continue to punch like we’re doing. It looks like we’re clogging up the middle right now. So, that’s a really good job. Okay. So, the ball’s bouncing like we wanted to do to our edges. You got to be patient though. Okay. Big in my gap. Square pass like you did like strike the double team. He’s there. And then once it commits one way or the other, then you drop them off. Does that make sense? And when you drop them off, be violent. Okay? Throw them into the dirt and then get ready to make the play. Square back up. You good? All right. You’re doing a good job out there. Keep it up. You got me. Keep it up. And a little more excitement in this crowd. It’s been a sleepy day for these Ravens fans with not much to cheer about until that last drive. Tell them what’s happening. We in the cut to the back and we in the cutting better with I can’t be bothered to bother to stand it as me positive. I’m in the league of my own and prepping the lead. Got to keep cooking ain’t getting no beef. I’m trying to level up. Focus on bringing the better of you with us. We spread love. Travis Jones has just stepped into the void with the loss of Nami Matab. Jones has come up huge for the Ravens this season. He’s got six tackles at TFO right now. Oh, he is hella tackles on there. Six at two TF game. Tyrod Taylor takes the snap. Ravens rush four. Pocket collapsing. Taylor is hit spins and sack back at the 47 yd line. Draymond Jones with his first sack as a Raven. I came around. I’m just dipping and ripping. I’m like, man, I’mma lean on it. What’s up? Yeah. Yeah. Ravens at home for the first time in a month. When you can protect your own house, that’s where you can get into the postseason. And all sides are Aaron Glenn is going to go for it on fourth down. Fourth and two for the Jets from the New York 42. I mean, what a They don’t have anything to lose. They’re two and eight. Tyrod Taylor in the shotgun on fourth and two. Ravens bring blitz pressure off the edge. Taylor fires near side. Incomplete. He wanted John Meti and Nate Wiggins had the perfect coverage. Great coverage by Nate Wiggins. Nate Wiggins had the coverage and that is a big turnover on downs. either way back, right? Great eyes. You right there. Great job. That’s up. Keep them poised with your eyes. Cover working together. There we go. Excellent job, man. Nate, nephew. Yeah, they went after Nate. a little hitch stop there and he just played it perfectly technique-wise. You know, he challenged a young corner sometimes, his technique, his eyes, those kind of things and he played it beautifully. Ravens defense gets a fourth down stop of the Jets and that gives the ball to the offense in great field position at the New York 42. So, after a first half where the offense could not get in gear at all, they open up with a touchdown drive and now they have a chance to extend the lead here with their second possession of the half. be roll man challenge it come off the ball and get physical and finish up off the play fake Lamar with a deep drop sets his feet throws complete Henry has it at the 40 sideep the tackle gets to the 30 25 and all the way down to the Jets 22 yd line first down Ravens with a 20 yd gain right out of the gate see those are the decisions and then the plays after them that bring your opponents alive and Derrick Henry with the catch turns up field and now the big diesel is free and rumbling up field. Lamar steps back in the shotgun, takes the snap. Blitz pressure coming. Lamar lost for the end zone. Incomplete. Penalty flags all over the field as Zay Flowers was tackled by Tony Adams right at the goal line. And this will be first and goal for the Ravens. We talked about the red zone difficulties for the Ravens. They came into today ranked 28th in the NFL in red zone conversions, scoring touchdowns on fewer than half of their trips into the red zone. Last year, one of the best in the red zone. This year, one of the worst. Here we go. Come on. Go for it. Go for it. Go for it. And the Ravens will go for it on fourth and goal. to give it to Henry right side. He’s got a hole. He’s in. Touchdown Ravens. Pat Ricard got a seal on the inside. Mark Andrews a seal on the outside and the King waltzes in untouched. So, John Harbaugh rolls the dice after Aaron Glenn rolled the dice on fourth down and came up empty. Derk Henry now has 115 career rushing touchdowns. That’s fifth in NFL history. Pat, Pat, nice job, Tyler. Way to work. Way to work. Way to work. Nice job. Red zone. We definitely haven’t been as as fish we wanted to be, but I think definitely got there down on the goal line and coach trusted us being down there fourth and two and uh had a good play call. Uh Danny set it up really nice for me and um you know Pat had a great block. We had a great block on the right side and then um just kind of open it up and for a walk in. So that’s that’s what that’s the expectation. So we got more MVPs than I got like uh game play. So I’m not going to come over here and tell you where to throw the ball. You know what I’m saying? Are you miked up? Hey, keep that going, boys. Keep that going. Let’s go. We keep coming. We keep need one too. 89 too, man. Pedal to the metal. Y’all know what that mean, bro. You know what that mean? Tyrod Taylor able to extend that last drive and get the Jets a field goal. Their first points of the second half. Hey, that’s me on that sack. I got to have that every day of the week. We trust you. He’s not going to run away from you. I promise you. All right. He going to shake and he want to use your momentum against you. Just step on his toes and just grab. All right. Then he’ll give up. Under control. That’s what he going to try. He going he going to stutter. He going to dance. He going to kill you. Be where you need to be. Take him down. I just let you know. You if you see that earlier, you got you got enough on it. Yeah. Go ahead. But boy, you better go flat. Flat. You saw I was running. He’s going to make that tap straight. I ain’t going to leave you hanging. All right. Good job stay calm. Good job making him kick the field right there. Mark Jackson and the offense try to get their third touchdown here of the second half. It has not been a pretty afternoon, but the objective is still to extend the win streak to five. Pretty or not. Let go. Let go. Let go. Lamar looking to throw looking to the left. Fires over the middle. Caught. 40 yd line. That’s Zane Flowers who got up and extended the play to the 41. Here we go. Go, go, go. Nice shot. Lamar pulls down the high snap. Rolls to the right. Sets his feet going deep far side looking for Tez Walker and he makes the sliding catch of the Jets 30 yd line. 29 yd gain. Six of the Jets eight losses have been in one score games. This team hangs around. They’ve been in every contest. Jets seven along the line. Here comes the blitz. Lamar fires end zone left side. He had a man wide open but he overthrew DeAndre Hopkins. He had him open. All right. Oh my goodness. Loop attempt from 35. Loop’s kick is up and it is good. [Music] Man, you knew it was zero. I want that back, bro. H I owe you, bro. Man, hell no. I ain’t no touchdown, bro. Bro, look. Look how I threw it. I’m like this bro. How you threw that, bro? It wasn’t too. No, you was straight, bro. I didn’t even put it on the to cuz you beat him so I just did like this. That is some clutch field goals out there. Big kicks, man. Everybody keep making big kicks. Like the windier it is, the bigger kick we make. That’s how it’s done. What made you get on with him? Oh, no. They they were the protection. They were blocking right in front of you. And I didn’t I’m going to run right back in. And then look, he only moving cuz I’m over here now. But he he watching my eyes. Yeah, that’s the only reason. Okay. Loop. Yeah. I’m going to run back. I’mma give you I’mma run back to the numbers on that car. 92 8925. You know how that go? Yeah. 892. You know what that mean? I’ll never stop. Yeah. I’ll never stop. 892. You know how that go. Let’s go. Let’s go. Hey, we got these Cers. Hey, we won’t give up no points. Good. [Music] We need one. You might need to get one. Classic Jets this season. They are staying close. They mark that last play. A gain of 10. So it’s first down for the Jets with just under nine minutes to play. Taylor out of the shotgun. Fakes the handoff. Throws to Greece Hall. Spins at midfield. He’s to the Ravens 40. Jukes a man at the 35. Still on his feet heading to the far side of the numbers 30 25 20 and all the way down inside the 20. And just like that, the Jets are in the red zone. gives it to Breeze Hall right side gets outside the numbers. Hall to the five and he’s finally chopped off his feet. The one ball comes out and the Ravens recover. The Ravens recover at the two yd line and the first turnover of the day goes to the Ravens. Alohi Gilman with the recovery. I think Marvin Humphrey stripped it as he was going about the oneyd line. And there is the play of the day. And look at the great job once again by Marlon Humphrey. Marlin to get that ball out. I don’t know how he did it because we were reeling a little bit. They had us on our heels, you know. Uh they were they were running the ball. They had made some plays. We missed some tackles and then he comes up he comes up just huge. I mean that to me is like that’s that’s the lion spike right there. You always talk about defenders not just ripping out the ball but there’s a technique to it getting underneath it and raking that football out and the emotion by Humphrey. [Applause] Don’t baby that one hand. You got one hand. You got Hold on. Hold on. Hold up. Let’s go. Let’s go. Hold on. Hold up. Hold that P. Hold that P. Spin it over. Hold that ball. No penalty. 180. Give us Derek Henry. Run to the outside. Stiff arms. A man. Gets the edge. He’s across the 10, 15, and all the way out to the 20 yd line. shot. Tyler Linderbomb penalized for the flag and it negates a beautiful run from Katon Mitchell. So it falls to the defense to put the win away now with under four minutes left to play. Jordan Stout who had a careerhigh 74 yd punt earlier in the day. Stout lets a play clock go down to two gets off another beauty, a missile. Williams backs up and lets the ball bounce at the five and it’s going to go out of bounds there. What a kick by Jordan Stout. He flipped the field again. When was the last time you saw a Potter ignite the crowd like that? My goodness. Jordan Stout. 67 yds. That’s 67 for Stout. My appreciation, bro. Appreciate you. I’m glad we didn’t play it safe with the boomerang, bro. Did you twostep that or you do your normal? It’s a quick first step. Hey, baby. That’s a fight, bro. No. Hey, I wouldn’t I wouldn’t be doing that if it wasn’t for you guys. I trust you all if you get down there. That’s so good, man. Y’all too. That’s a fight. This is life, you know, especially when you know offense to punt the ball. So, you like you don’t naturally, you know, you don’t get down a little bit, but you’re like, damn. Like, he punted it. Let’s go. And when he punted the ball like that, oh yeah, we about to about to f him up. It’s over with. the defense with a chance to put this game away. You got to be licking your chops if you’re a defender for the Baltimore Ravens knowing you can get sacks, you can get interceptions. Hi, Rob Taylor. He’ll try to escape, but he’s tripped up and sacked back at the 39 yd line. We know where each other’s going to be play in and play out. And uh hats off to Zo and the staff been making great game plans. So, I just think it’s a combination of that and just guys just playing together and like putting it all on the line for one another. Tyrod Taylor from the shotgun on third down. Ravens rush forward. Taylor under pressure hit and sacked back at the 12 yd line. Kyle Vanoi applying pressure. Draymond Jones dropping the quarterback. The haze in the barns. So the Ravens can take the ball now and start thinking about Thanksgiving. How about this Ravens team? That’s what I’m talking about. He was talking about I’m going to bring that. You ever got a 10? Yeah, we about to get double digit sack club. Keep hunting, man. Come on, man. They gave it to Mike. No. Yeah. They gave it to Mike. Mike tripped him. No. Yeah. Mike. Mike. Hey, Mike. They gave it to you. They gave it to you. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Taking a knee. You taking a knee. We taking a knee. Hey, good game. Hey, reven. Yes, sir. You, too. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. I got you, Trod. Yes, sir. Appreciate you, brother. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Fight. Yes, sir. Oh, what’s up, man? Appreciate you, baby. That’s so proud of you. Everything you do, brother. Appreciate this. Got you. What we’ve been through got us through today. All right. What we’ve been through all year, the first half got us through the second half of what we done so far. First half of this game. Second half of this game. That’s how strong you are. That’s what won the football game. Mental toughness. Who said something about mental toughness today for their this week? What was the quote? Who who had it? Mental toughness is what? Coup. It was Coupe, right? Coupe. You talked about mental toughness, right? That’s what consistency is. You can overcome anything. Yay. This is This is the quote. Yay. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. All right. All right. Nothing can bring you down. Nothing can bring you down. Right. when you have that kind of mindset that you have. Now, I’m so proud of you guys because we are out of the hole and we are up on firm ground right now and we are digging in and we are making more. It’s time. It’s time now. All right, it’s time to cut it loose. I think we got it pretty darn good cuz we got each other, right? So, I’m going to ask you as loud as we can do it. Okay, here’s the question for you. Who’s got it better than us? Nobody. And nobody’s got it better than Jordan Stout either. [Applause] Long 74 yd run at an average of how many? An average of 61.5 yds. The sixth highest in the NFL since 1960. [Applause] All right, I got you. I got you. So, that might be an individual statistic, but I promise you I couldn’t do it if it wasn’t for the guys running down the field every play. So, I appreciate you all. This is for you. Right. Speaking of that, Speaking of that, I’m going to have you accept it, Nick, for the punt team. I’m going to tell you what, the punt team, the punt you you could say the punt team won us that game cuz the punt team kept us in that game early, right? The punt team kept flipping field position back. All right, Nick for the punt team. Put that up in the the room there. Yeah, put it up. Number 44, man. Number 44. Force fumble. Number 12, fumble recovery. Okay. Both you two guys are going to get lion spikes. But here we go. 44 for causing that fumble right there. Marlin. Hey, great win. Enjoy it a little bit. Come on. Number 41. Two sacks. [Applause] Sacks are not just an individual. You know, stat, you know, Dline got to do their part. Defense got to do their part. So happy to get a win. Keep sacking. 34 yd kickoff return. End of the second quarter. Set up our first score and broke the ice. Keith Mitchell. turbo. Come on. Where you at? Where you at? Way to make it happen. Appreciate it. Appreciate it. No speech. 65. Keep going, man. All right. Number 22 got the touchdown. The run game got going. But how about we’re just going to give him a game ball for this block. He had other blocks, too. Pat Ricard that block on the little man. Good job. Good job. Great job. Here’s some things that happened in the game. Okay, so we’re fighting our asses off. LJ scrambles around. He finds Mark downfield. Get the Get the defensive pass interference. Gets us alive. That’s a game-winning play. Who offer Mark Andrews? Mark Andrews. How about Hop? Third down conversion. Third down conversion. Same drive. Gives a chance to keep that thing alive. Whoa. For Hop. You’re going to get a great hoo-a for that fourth down stop right there. Nate Wiggins. [Applause] Hey, that’s Thank you, TJ. Tampa, that’s [Applause] TJ. Yeah. First first ever career interception. TJ Tampa. Hey, man. Hey, let’s keep this going, man. Yeah. All right. Give us Here we go. Here we go. Hey, real quick, man. Enjoy this for a couple hours, man. And then you know we on the Cincinnati this Thursday night. Family on two. One, two. Family.

  1. That definitely wasn't Lamar's best game, he gotta hit Hopkins right there for the TD but im happy we got the win. Let's just say he's saving that for tomorrow night against cincinnati. I'm glad bateman is back practicing. Hope he plays tomorrow night. He's 1 of Lamar's top redzone targets.
