Not only is our playoff fate hanging in the air this week, so is the coveted Preston Road Trophy. A traveling trophy kept by the team owner of the last Chiefs/Cowboys game winner. Supposedly currently locked up in Clark Hunt’s office. Let’s hope it stays there!

  1. I love little trophies like this that have an almost homemade quality to them compared to things like the Lombardi trophy or the Lamar Hunt trophy. It’s a quaint symbol of a friendly rivalry that doesn’t happen often, but is always treasured when it does. Things like this really help serve as a reminder that, if you take all the glitz and glamour and money and fame and pomp and circumstance away from it, football is just a game.

    A friendly game.

Nevertheless, I hope the Chiefs crush the Cowboys tomorrow.
