The Cavs now hold the wild card spot in the East for the NBA Cup

Man I could not care less about the nba cup
If they wanted fans to care about the cup, completely randomize the groups amongst both conferences. Right now they’re a glorified theme night.
We’re not safe though. I think it’s win and they’re in for Detroit and New York, meaning those point differentials for Orlando and/or Miami become a problem for the wild card. Unless New York and Detroit both lose, we’ll probably have to beat the Hawks by a lot to have a chance.
What do they have to do to keep it?
Have to hope the Bucks get lucky and take down the Knicks and hope the Magic can take care of the Pistons otherwise that point differential of the Heat and Magic will be hard to overcome
