Let’s grade the last five Tennessee Titans first round picks excluding Cam Ward from the 2025 draft. So, we’re going to start off with JC Laam, the seventh overall pick out of Alabama, the offensive lineman they selected in 2024. It’s a D. When you look at all the picks around JC Laam, this one hurts a little bit more. Joe Alt went a couple picks earlier. Roma Dunu Fashionu, Bone Knicks, Brock Bowers went a couple picks later. This was a miss by the Tennessee Titans old front office. They selected Peter Scrants with the 11th overall pick in the 2023 draft. I’m going to give this one a B minus. Scransky definitely struggled in the first two years of his career. He’s been good this year. I’m giving it a B minus now that he’s a full-time offensive guard. Can I give a pick an F minus? They traded away AJ Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles for the 18th overall pick in the 2022 draft. They selected Trayon Burks, the wide receiver out of Arkansas. That pick is an F. I’m giving it an F minus cuz they traded away AJ Brown for Trayvon Burks who is no longer on the team. They selected the corner by the name of Caleb Farley with the 22nd overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. There was some stuff that doesn’t come back down on the Titans front office for the miss on this pick, but Farley never really worked out in Tennessee. That one’s also an F. And then this pick at number 29 in the 2020 draft. This one rivals the Trayon Burks pick. So, can I give this one an F minus as well, Isaiah Wilson, who they selected with the 29th overall pick in 2020 who played one game for Tennessee. One game for a first round pick. Definitely one Tennessee would have liked to have back. They’ve not been a good drafting team over the last few years. Let me know what you agree or disagree with.

  23. Our owner saw this brilliant record of first round picks and decided the GM should stay and we should fire Mike Vrabel and not offer Derrick Henry an extension. Then she hired Brian Callahan.
