Miami Heat Stays Hot Beating Bucks 106-103 For 6th Win In A Row | Tyler Herro Puts Up w/ 29 Points
Welcome on in guys. Tobin here with you and thanks for checking out the channel. Your Miami Heat stay hot. They win their sixth in a row today beating the Milwaukee Bucks 106 103 in NBA Cup play. Miami finishes up their group play with a 3-1 record. They continue to absolutely annihilate teams at home. Uh well, today was close, but their record is an annihilation. nine and one so far this season at the CSA Center as the Miami Heat pull off the win today led by none other than Wisconsin’s finest Tyler Hero aka Boy Wonder with a dazzling display today for the Miami Heat. 29 points for Tyler Hero. Five rebounds, seven assists, a steal, a block. Uh did it supervisionly today, nine of 15. He was three of five from downtown and perfect from the free throw line. A perfect 8 for8 today for Boy Wonder. Was going to be a fascinating game. Obviously, this was the healthiest the Miami Heat have been. Um, you had everybody back today. You had Andrew Wiggins back. You had Norman Powell back. We had Nicola Yoic, who was a DNPCD today. Um, so Eric Spa opting to not play Nico. He did not play Keshan Johnson after all of the the action that he had gotten over the last few games. Um it was not one of the prettiest games offensively overall. This was I think the first game Eric Reed mentioned that the Heat had not had a 30point quarter so far this season. So not necessarily the most uh dazzling display of offense, but it was clutch down the stretch. And Miami did uh pull things out late yet again. And Miles Turner misses a three to tie. Has a look at it. A little too strong. And it was not enough to go in. Miami really escaped a dagger late where Ryan Rollins was fouled by DaVon Mitchell on an and one and was going to the line, misses the free throw. The Heat don’t get it. It ends up in a scramble with Gary Trent who was uh just nailing it from downtown today. And um thankfully that one did not go in to give them the uh to to give them the lead. So that was a uh that one was quite or to give them the tie. That one was quite squeaky at the time, but it did not go in. Uh Tyler Hero in this game really just I mean he had everything working for him today. He, you know, the thing that I marvel about with him is he’s come off this injury and he has basically had four shots that looks like he’s knocked the rust off and he looks very very comfortable right off the bat. I mean, he was just uh absolutely making it a point, you know, to not only get the floater going, but he he really, I think today seemed more comfortable in the whole system, getting his teammates involved, finding shooters. Um he had a really good moment in the uh in the fourth quarter to start things off where he hits a three ball then gets Pella open for the three ball and then he gets just a a nasty nasty you know hesitation keeper to uh put the heat up by I think it was nine at the time 9586. I mean he he really had it all going for him. It was very very impressive to see what hero was going today. Um, and as far as Milwaukee is concerned, Milwaukee, it was uh a late decision not to play Giannis on Takumbo. There was some buzz that he was going to be back. Based on the videos, it was not there. There was not boots on the ground tonight. It looked like he was uh going to give it a go and uh he did not. He did not. Um, and then you know for the first half of this game it was interesting because you did get to you were interested on seeing like what was going to be the rotation for this game. Eric Spolstra ended up closing with Wiggins uh Wiggins Bam DaVon Norman Powell Tyler Herro which was his starting lineup as well. He did not start KL Wear. He started DaVon Mitchell. So he decided to go with the three guards. Um and that was with Bam and I think Kell really playing a very very strong very strong uh minutes together when they got in the second quarter. You had Bam finding Kell Wear for an alleyoop. Um and then DaVon found KL Wear for a three ball and then um you know those two I thought wre a lot of havoc together. But yeah, Spo decides to not go big. He doesn’t play Yovic today. So there are Listen, this this is going to be an interesting thing. I’m not listening to his post game, so I’m sure he’ll explain some of this. He’s going to go first class problems. These are tough decisions, blah blah blah blah blah. So I’m sure we all know how he’s going to pivot with that stuff. Um, so I can’t really quibble with too much like Fonteo is going to be a shoot. Fontio only played seven minutes. He did not get a lot of run today. You know, he has been in a bit of a shooting slump. he has not been able to buy a three-pointer. The Miami Heat have been you know people will point to this uh you know they they’ll point today to the offense and yeah I mean it hasn’t looked as good. The thing is the Heat have been in a little bit of a funk with the shooting lately. Um and Tyler was I think the only him and Pella made multiple three-point shots today. Norm just didn’t have his juice today. Now people will say hey was that a I’m not the guy now. am I, you know, or is it just, hey, he’s coming off of a groin injury, did he not feel all the way comfortable? Who’s to say, dude? I don’t really know. I don’t I don’t I don’t have an answer for that. He did have a really good run in this game at one point where he started to get going. It was about in the in the late in the third quarter, you know, he was starting to get to the rim and and and then he got again and you’re just like, “All right, he’s starting to find his stuff.” But, you know, it just was one of those days. We haven’t seen many games for him where it hasn’t looked absolutely natural. So, everything’s worth monitoring. I’m not sitting here saying, “Oh, nothing to see here.” No. But I am mostly going to say, “Hey, they won. They’re they’re finding ways to win. Uh, are these the best teams that you want to be in squeakers at the against?” Yeah, maybe not. But I remember how many of these games did they blow last year. So, I’m going to take the win, not apologize for it, and figure all this stuff out as it goes because this stuff is going to be a process to figure out. Andrew Wiggins, also coming off the hip, didn’t have like the greatest game shooting. He was 106. Um, Norm was 0 of5. So, you had some some pretty rocky volume games from downtown. Um, so and I didn’t I I mean I didn’t feel like this was a game where like oh Tyler Herro was just absolutely sucking the air out of the ball from everybody. The guy was hot. He was making buckets. He was efficient. He was getting guys involved. Um so it’s worth monitoring. It’s worth to to check it out if it’s going to be thing. But I am curious. Uh Haime in his limited minutes today, you know, uh had some really effective drives to the basket. He didn’t feel like he was out of sync too much. he felt like he really had his stuff going. Um, and where, you know, where’s the one where it’s going to be an interesting run, right? Because I I think really out of anything, you know, where only plays 26 minutes tonight and he gives you almost a double double again, 11 points, nine rebounds. And there’s going to be tough choices to make. Da’Von today doing his normal thing where he gets everybody involved. He was he only took two shots. He has still had nine assists today. Um but that this is this is one of those if we’re going to go big picture on this. We want to do a little big picture on this. This is Yeah, it’s a lot of guys. It’s a lot of guys that Spo has to get in there with Tyler being back and everybody being healthy. Um, and so yeah, it’s going to it’s going to you’re going to wonder at some point where, you know, do they have to make a uh, you know, is there going to be some kind of a move that they can make that they could afford to lose in hopes that you could get some kind of an asset grab. So, it wasn’t like the most impressive dynamic duo outing from Norm Pal and Tyler Herro, but again, I am trying to give the liberties of these guys are coming off of being banged up. They’ve played the whole season. One guy looks the freshest out of the fresh out of all of them. They’re going to get a couple of days off now before they get ready for a big time match up against Detroit, who lost tonight, by the way. Was kind of hoping the Heat would have a chance to to knock off uh that win streak themselves, but Boston ends up beating them. We’ll look at the cup standings here in just a second. But yeah, today I mean the heat the biggest issues they had there was a lot of switches that Miles Turner was able to feast on. Um and you were like you know could we see you know this is a a team with some size playing Bobby Portoris who wasn’t fantastic today. He was actually four or 14. Yikes. Tough go of it for him. I know that he’s been kicked around some heat rumors. Um, but I I really thought the minutes with Bam and and Kell looked really strong today. I thought that they had some some good moments together and, you know, leaning into that still looking like it’s got of a lot of effect to it. I don’t want to lose sight of that even with everybody being back and knowing that all right, Kell is not the initial plan. you know, is there an idea where, you know, where do they go from here? Like, do they It doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense, but to put Wiggins on the bench, it doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense. You know, DaVon’s the obvious pick there, but he really doesn’t deserve it. He’s played fantastic. So, I don’t know. I think this is kind of is what it is right now. And then, you know, they may have to adjust. The thing that’s good about it is it does give you a lot of versatility. There are a lot of options to go all over the place, but you know, and then yeah, striking that Yovic uh you know, was uh was not able to go today even amongst the the minor Fonteo minutes. Drew Smith today uh was a plus 11 in his minutes. He had a really nasty steal and score. I mean, a really awesome play by him in the midst of this. Pella Larson has not like been on the most efficient offensive run and I do feel like a lot of offenses are hoping that they it’ll end up in the hands of Pella because he hasn’t been super efficient lately. Um but he’s just he just plays with so much energy it’s infect you don’t even think about it sometimes. Sometimes it’s noticeable but a lot of the times you’re just like sheesh this guy’s just flying all over the place. He’s putting his chicklets on the line. Um, and ultimately like you know this problem when you’re 13 and six is is a much easier thing to deal with than it is when you are sticking up the joint. So looking at the NBA Cup right now, Miami is 3-1. New York won today. They’re 2-1. Milwaukeee’s 2- one. Those two teams will play. The Heat need Milwaukee to win. Now, the good news is Giannis uh seemed like he was close to playing. So, it seems like in that final game, it seems like that that Giannis, I would imagine, is going to give it a go when they play New York. I’m going to guess he does. So, if they do, that means that he will advance if the Bucks win. If they don’t, I think then you have the last wildcard spot. And then if you look at a point differential right now, you have the Magic who are three and 0. Are they playing right now or are they uh waiting? No, they would be playing on Friday, right? So you have the Magic have a better point differential than the Heat, but they’re going to probably they might win their group. The Heat’s point differential is plus 25 on the Pistons if the Pistons finish 3-1. If the Cavs finish three and one, the Heat have more than them at uh plus 49. The Cavs are plus 33. Who do the Cavs have in their final one? Let’s take a look. They got the Hawks and the Pistons have the Magic. So, if the Magic win, I I think if the Magic win, I think the Heat are in. Um, pretty much if the if the Magic win, I think the Heat will be pretty solidified in that at least wild card spot to get through. But if the Bucks win, beat the Knicks, then the Heat will be in. But the uh the Knicks did win today. They did beat the Hornets. So, that’s where we’re at with that. And uh look, I do want to say, you know, I don’t want to make this all like a negative thing, too, on this because ultimately, like, look, this stuff’s going to get figured out. I mean, you I do think everybody’s got to get a little bit of a grip. Like, hey, you did have your all-star comeback, 24 points. I know what the, you know, all the narratives are. And I’m not even saying they’re all invalid, but I do think that if you guys trust Eric Spolstra to completely revamp this offense and figure things out, I think he’s also allowed a half a dozen games to to sort out the rotation, see where things are at, see the best fit for for Norman, Tyler, and and and what it all goes there. What’s the best fit for the starting lineup? You know, does that mean Dave onto the bench? more Drew Smith uh less Drew Smith does that mean you know no Simone Fonteo does that mean yeah you know and I mean Davon if that were to start Kell wear but then if you start Kell are you going to put Nico in there for backup big minutes I don’t know that’s what I’m saying like this does need this is the first time he’s had his full deck and I don’t think that we have to make any sweeping judgments on where the team is at the best news of all of it is man Tyler Heroes come back in two games and he’s looked freaking incredible. I mean, he’s looked really really good. The last game he didn’t really want to let it fly from three. He only really wanted to get to the his his super comfort zone of the floater. And I felt like today he looked really comfortable. I mean, he had it all working for him. The shots, the the hesitation moves, obviously the floaters and the runners, that’s his bread and butter, but also the passing was grand. He had, you know, some some some great setups in Ali oops. So, all in all, you’re adding him and you’re telling me these guys can’t figure it out. Norman Pal who’s played with James Harden, Kyle Lowry, Damen Lillard, like he’s this is not Give Norman Pal some freaking credit. Like, this is not his first rodeo. He’s going to be able to figure this out, too. these guys, I think, will be able to figure it out and things will get dynamic a little bit again and the three-point shooting will will get going. They’ve had it they’ve hit a little bit of a rut here, whether it be from the pace, water hitting its level, um just hitting a little bit of a rut. I I do think that that is all going to balance out as well. So, all in all, dude, like take a Heat Nation, take a step back and look at this freaking thing. The Miami Heat 13-6, seven over 500. All right. Third most wins in the Eastern Conference right now. Sixgame winning streak, nine-1 at home. Got the Pistons coming in on Saturday. It’s Thanksgiving, baby. Be thankful for how this basketball team is playing. Enjoy your turkey. Enjoy your stuffing. Enjoy your trimmings. and and we’ll get ready for for a big time match up come on Saturday

Bro if it wasn’t for Tyler team would’ve lost. Shooting bricks norm
Herro haters grasping at straws:
Last game: “He didn’t have any assists & can’t get to the line”
Tonight 7 assist & 8 free throws
Tonight “he’s hijacking the offense”
Herro didn’t even take the most shots & was the only starter in the +.
Herro haters so mad that the rebounding has been fixed since Herro came back & they’re 2-0
The issue is the Heat players really stepped up without Herro and have been on a tear with the scoring … It's a great thing to have and Spo will figure it out … It's all good … Awesome season so far …
We can't start 3 guards under 6'6" and wiggins at the 4 man. Ware has earned it.
The way some Heat fans talk about Tyler you would think he's out there causing the team to shoot 18.5% and 27.8% from 3 these last two games. They're just missing hella shots, whether he's on the court or not.
Just me or with the Herro return, vibes seem less happy? Even with wins?
Why is Bam switching to smaller players? He needs to stop that. Most of the mismatches was his fault. I saw Powell stick to his man but then had to rotate to Turner because Bam stole his cover. Makes no sense.
dumb fans blaming hero 60% efficient shooting to norman's 0-5 brick? how?? and he had the most assist still next to Mitchell. Its not like herro was hoarding the ball. he has 15 FGA and norman had 11.
Big issue is the teams 3pt shooting. Its been a ton of wide open Misses. Once the shots start falling it'll be a big problem. Herro is a bucket, norms a bucket and ware is a cheat code. Hey spo play bam and ware together
yea let’s start the 6’1 pg instead of the 7 footer that’s been averaging 15 & 15 😹 cmon spo cut it out !
No Herro No Problem less Herro less defense less pace against bad teams mind you trade him for a top pick we see where Herro ball got us last year love Warehouse and Bam together let's go HEAT 😮
This is a precise segment, TOBIN…..
COACH SPO will figure it out
yes we need to let them gel more but. damn we need to trade tyler sadly
Kentucky
Herro slows down the offense to like it was before the change
I wish a lot of you so called fans would go watch another team.. Fantasy sports has you guys thinking you are GMs
Good Job 👏🏼👏🏼 My Frend from reading Pensilvania Heat national
The wiggins minutes are killing me.
Be Thankful
Tyler should realize that he needs to pass the ball. It actually slowed down the offense of the heat when Tyler is playing.
Tyler and Powell should not play together.
When Tyler plays – there is no ball movement.
Ware damn near double double off the bench. The effort and energy is second to none
Trade Wiggs
Im happy we won, but not with how we won. Channeling my inner paul maurice.
These wizards fans need to go, out here throwing dirt on wins is crazy
That game was awful to watch. They played so sloppy. was the court covered in butter? So many turnovers and missed scoring opportunities. Also Spo must get a hard on whenever one of our shorties gets matched with a center down low, and it needs to stop
With Tyler's inclusion in the line up – 3 to 4 players are affected with their playing time and development. Coach Spo needs to distribute the minutes of the players.
Road to 45K subscribers.
Us playing small led to easy paint baskets for the bucks which slowed our offense down.
START WARE
Jalen duren is a monster heat better watch out.
All ik is Tyler comes in and we stop scoring like crazy….. Could be something could be nothing 🤔
Tobiiinnn here!!!!!!
Could they start Davion, Tyler, Powell, Ware, Bam? Off the bench, Dru, Wiggins, Jovic/ Keshad, Pell, JJJ.
Idk if I'm encouraged or discouraged.
Poor 2nd half against the bucks with no giannis.
But tyler was really efficient
The answer is obvious and no one wants to say it. Herro needs to come off the bench. Our team has been playing the best it has in decades why should herro start? Why mess up the chemistry that has been built? No one has deserved to be benched for herro. Lets be real here.
If Bam wants to run around and cover guards at the 3pt line we need a rim protector behind him….
too bad Detroit lost. Was looking forward to the opportunity of trying to end their streak
Cringed the 3rd quarter when Ware didn't play until 4 minutes left. Bucks kept running the same play after they realized when Bam is playing center, he is mostly at the 3 point line defending someone and not in the paint. That Miles Turner mismatch play was on loop all night.
Peace and Blessings everyone. Go Heat.
We need the starting lineup to be Herro Powell Wiggins Bam Ware
Wiggins, Niko and a 2nd rd pick for Nic Claxton. Who says no?
Starting Bam And Ware Who Will Be The Backup Center
Powell should be more aggressive and NOT defer to Tyler! We need Norm to be aggressive to win comfortably against opposing teams! Also, that stupid small ball line up by Spo is the worst idea ever! Bam always switching with a small guard and the opposing bigs feasting against our small guards is the worst kept secret in NBA history!
This is exactly how I thought it’d go when Tyler had to jump on this moving ship. It’ll rock, and look like she’ll capsize at first but it won’t sink and it’ll keep going forward no matter how hard the waves are. Not the best past 2 games as a team collectively in terms of how we were playing without herro. But one thing I’m liking is, the games that we probably should lose and would have lost last year. We are getting the W instead, which speaks tremendous volume especially at the end of season come playoffs
At this point the Heat should ship his @$$ to the G-League to develop some balls! Jovic is too soft to play in the NBA!
So much talent … it was hard to get everyone their touches to me it felts like Powell, Ware were struggling getting in rhythm.
Someone mentioned about Herro and Powell starting then have them 1 – 2 punch the quarters…
Something like Herro play majority of the 1st quarter then have Powell carry the 2nd and 3rd quarter then close with Herro or vice versa depending on who we play … also may be a good time to let Powell rest from that ground to kind of have him come off the bench. Unfortunately with how good they played without Herro it looks like inserting is a little difficult for the role players to find their rhythm
If the Knicks win by 24 on Friday we are looking for a wildcard spot
3:23 I will never see this as herro team. It's bam team not herro
So weird to see him drinking water, especially after the way last year went lol. I was drinking with you through those tough times too Tobs
