  1. Dame to Deni post game: “I know the feel, bro”

Well, now we gotta play the Thunder again…

  2. Don’t like to shit on our players but Jerami Grant Toumani Camara sidy cissoko Caleb love rayan Rupert all pathetic

  3. We’re all gonna pretend that the NBA cup is stupid and we never cared in the first place, right?

Someone needs to step the fuck up and help Deni Avdija because he was the best player on the floor tonight and we still couldn’t get the win

  4. Was really hoping to get a knockout game. Couldn’t really ask for a better chance against a depleted Spurs team at home

  5. Silver lining – they’ve avoided a likely match up against the Lakers in LA.

Wouldn’t be getting a single call in that one.

  6. Something gotta shake up on the offensive side..things are so stagnant and this is without Chauncey..something needs to change.

And also, Camara is such a disappointment this season so far..like..he’s suppose to practice all the threes in the off season and got this?

  7. I know we are missing bodies, but doesn’t it seem like every team has plus shooters off the bench other than us?

  8. Bright spot is that Deni could legit be All-NBA this season. Aside from that, this game fucking sucked to watch.

  9. Damn I was actually hoping to advance to give us something to get excited about after the last few years. Gah!!!!

  10. 4/28 from three without deni which is 14% from three without deni. And you expect to beat the spurs?

  11. Went from stellar defense and medicore offense to terrible defense and offense. Love me some blazers basketball, every season its some hopes getting smothered before Decemeber.

  12. Ik im going to get hate for this but I don’t see why we should try to make the playoffs this year. The play in could be cool but we aren’t ready to compete and a lottery pick would be nice

  13. it’s hard to watch toumani camara play basketball this season. I think Kris Murray has been better

  14. 3pt shots, FT, Offensive rebounds, turnovers, and we scored 16 pts in the 4th quarter of a must win game. All around bad night for the Blazers.

  15. You cant win in this league shooting like that. It sucks cause they play with such pace & energy but it’s all for not if you go brick fest from deep. And we do nearly every night, it’s like watching the same game over & over.

The latest NW sports heartbreak. We get a new one every week.

  16. Really hate to be negative about my guys, but Toumani was my favorite player for 2 straight seasons, and I just can’t wrap my head around what I’m seeing. He goes extremely long stretches coasting on defense, and that’s simply unacceptable for a guy who is literally only out there for energy and defense. Sucks to see.

  17. Toumani Camara needs to come back to fundamentals

Also we don’t even have no trade asstes at this point so how are we gonna build a team around Deni and Dame fuuuuuck

  18. Honestly it’s wild Deni was able to score so well when literally every other defender on the floor could leave their man wide open and switch or provide help on him. Looking forward to Jrue and Tisse coming back. Hopefully that will improve our defense and raise the floor on that god awful 3pt percentage.

  19. Shae’s midrange looked very good, nice to see him back. But down the stretch, he needed the ball more.

There’s a pyramid-domino effect thing going where not having a PG and/or Deni wearing down over the course of a game make everything look worse. Which is pretty frustrating, as we could’ve easily won this game with more of our roster available.

But by the same token, our team is a lot better than this when the pieces are in place. Right now we’re playing a lot of the game with only one guy who can consistently create on offense. We don’t have much in the way of great 3 point shooting, but we’ve got guys who can make them when they have time and spacing (Clingan and Murray have shown some nice touch, but they’re not quick-release players). We need Jrue, Scoot, health Shae to help create more good looks.

  20. This one hurts extra because it had at least the feel of a game that mattered, it was there for us to take, and nobody outside of Deni delivered and the issues that have been there all season were glaring. Long run, it’s good for the young guys to experience, but we really need Scoot in there developing with them too.

  21. Deni is fun. He does everything for us. If only we had shooters for him to drive n kick to.
Still like Murray off the bench. Great versatile wing but needs to be paired with shooting.
Lamar said it early. Weird for Tou to pick up Fox high and then commit the foul twice. Put Tou in foul trouble.

Man, if DC could add a single move he would be an automatic 15pts and 10rb. He seems like the closest of our guys to have a reasonable path to take a clear next step forward.

  22. Deni absolutely CARRIED these guys tonight and ran out of gas unfortunately. Supporting cast was a no show tonight. Sharpe was okay in limited minutes. Camara was awful and has been incredibly disappointing lately.

  23. So, yeah. Totally didn’t think it’d we cool to go attempt to make some noise in Vegas.

  24. I say this as a pretty ardent Shae supporter – he needs to look for outside help with his 3PT shot.

Always hear him shouting out his trainer but there’s no reason a guy with that touch, fluidity and easy range should be shooting 25%.

Unless his shoulder messed something up, I just can’t understand the regression from distance and nowhere else.
